Aww, thanks everyone

3 days before my 40th - which will be our 10 year anniversary too. Seemed appropriate.

JammyOLantern · 16/10/2009 19:15

just wondering - which, IYO, is the bestest ever G&B chocolate?

justbeme · 16/10/2009 22:36

Congratulations Foxy - so when did this happen??
and I didn't quite "get" your FB status - did you buy the shite toys or did you leave them in the shop??

Jammy sounds like a typical man!!

LatinDAISYcal · 17/10/2009 00:20

WooHoo foxy, you fox
Congratulations. Are you having all the DC as page boys/girls . Vicarious wedding planning; love it

Been to see the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain tonight and it was fantastic. we missed the first half though as there was a bad accident (involving a bus load os school kids )and the A64 was closed so we had to do a magical mystery detour. Still it's a good excuse to go and see them again

I WANT a ukelele

first time DH and I have been out together for ages as well.

ria, I like the ginger G&B

Ohforfoxsake · 17/10/2009 07:40

DD1 might get a pink ukele from Santa.

Thanks for all your kind messages. Its lovely you are so excited for me. I'll update FB tomorrow with details.

Daisy, I left all the toys in the shop. The cashier looked at the vouchers, put all the shopping through, and afterwards told me they weren't valid. Cue a lot of voiding, at which point I left. Came home, and did it all online.

Haven't actually been proposed to yet. Ring is waiting for me (love Quidco! waiting for that cashback ). But venue booked, dress made and here, band booked. I've even got the favour boxes (on offer!).

Maya Gold gets my vote.

GrimRIAper · 17/10/2009 08:52

DS1 wants a ukele.

well, it's 1939 and war has just been declared in Europe. DS1 quite enthusiatic about breakfast (porrige - is there a "d" in it?). Bet he's not so keen onthe faggots at lunchtime!!! Not going to any re-enactment events til tomrrow though.

thanks for the choccie info. might get some for DH to test first. (friends birthday on Monday)

Ohforfoxsake · 17/10/2009 09:21

Their milk chocolate is just dreamy!

You can buy a set of minatures for about a fiver I think.

Cherry is my favourite, but I tend to eat it in one. Butterscotch is good. Espresso is best avoided IMHO.

The mint filled one is lush.

JammyOLantern · 17/10/2009 09:55

Mmm yes, the miniatures set is fab! We had one on holiday with ILs, and it was good fun swapping thoughts on the different flavours and then even swapping tiny pieces of choc as we each worked out our preferences. Each little bar is even marked into tiny squares (as if they were intended for the Pontipines!) so you can break off a couple of tiny pieces to trade.

2 hours of peace! It is Dads Zone this morning so DH has taken Jamlet out I am having tea and toast and then have a long soak in the tub planned, followed by a little spot of sorting out the art & craft things which have got in a right mess.

GrimRIAper · 17/10/2009 14:08

ooh, will look out for it. thankfully I am a devotee of cadburys, so it shouldn't jepordise my diet!

knackered! decide to have a "dig for victory" theme to the morning, and have managed to do some major clearing of the garden. forgot to turn the oven on though, so lunch very late. the eating of pease pudding and faggots was almost enthusiastic. I have to go shopping for spam this afternoon!

Sputnik · 17/10/2009 20:13

Will you be spending the night in an air raid shelter?

Low down on dress please Foxy!

GrimRIAper · 17/10/2009 22:40

LOL sputnik. Nope, but I coud sleep on a clothes line. This war business is exhausting. Made some "buns" at teatime with grated carrot in them, DS1 loves them!

AM on my own again tonight. DHs boss said he looked knackered and he blamed lack of sleep with the boys (not working extra hours) so they offered hima room for the night. I don't see anyone queueing up with offers for me

LatinDAISYcal · 18/10/2009 20:05

Hellllooooooo where is everybody??

OP posts:
Sputnik · 18/10/2009 20:26

I'm here. Just for the record.

LatinDAISYcal · 18/10/2009 20:39

hey sputnik

another website query for you....... when you said page titles, is that the actul line that appears in the browser? I noticed that mine are called www.blahdeblah.co.uk/html20 etc and that there is a field I can input stuff with a little description about titles involving commas and dashes which I didn't really understand . Can I put in my page title there eg Products or ContactUs etc?

I hope that question makes sense!

LatinDAISYcal · 18/10/2009 20:41

Oooh, and I got a sleep in until 11 am today

OP posts:
JammyOLantern · 18/10/2009 20:48

Evening

Had a nice weekend. Went out this afternoon (just a spot of shopping and the park) and Jamlet walked loads But best of all although it was me that got up with her at 7 this morning, I got to go back to bed from 9 - 11

This evening is one of those days that I wish my Mum wasn't on Facebook. Otherwise I would have been able to tell the world that I did a poo the shape of an elephant! It had ears and a trunk !!!

Sputnik · 18/10/2009 20:49

no, that's the file name, page title is the bit at the very top of the browser, where it says "Home - Bumblebums". You need to stuff it with keywords as densely as possible!
Yay for your lie in. I was feeling crap during the week and DH got DD ready for school and drove her in. e and DS woke up at 10. Miracle!

LatinDAISYcal · 18/10/2009 21:30

lol jammy; did you take photos?

I would cringe if any of my family were on FB or suchlike! Well my big sis registered but she never logs in.

OP posts:
JammyOLantern · 18/10/2009 21:40

No, no photos Didn't even think of that!

I've got loads of my family on - my sis, her DS and DD, my brother (not that he uses it much), and several cousins, and most recently my Mum. I admit it makes me feel a little knowing my Mum is watching me on it, but I do like playing scrabble with her

GrimRIAper · 18/10/2009 23:30

LOL jammy. that's one for That's Life or similar!

I'm here now. Busy day in occupied Europe, couldn't find friends DS to give him a lift home (felt bad cos she passed us on the way home on her way to collect him, but it would have meant waiting around for an hour after everything had packed up - he was enacting in a parade that ended the weekend, that we didn't see cos you just can't be evrywhere), then home for tea, collect DH from workm then bath kids and do the bedtime battle, which ended about 20 mins ago, though they are all in their own beds currently. Have been stitching friends birthday card in between all this.

Not feeling too great tonight, but not anxious, more down and slightly paranoid.

of lie ins.

if it isn't enough DH spent the night in a room presumably on his own with no kids, woke up with no assistance, and has spent the day also with no kids doing what he likes best... I can't bloody remember what I was going to put that was annoying me!. And I haven't been drinking.
