Struggling to load pages these days and saw we were over the 900 so took the liberty of starting a new thread.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
vivaGlasvegas · 14/10/2009 21:40

essie surely I've answered all possible questions in my epic posting

vivaGlasvegas · 14/10/2009 21:41

poppy or edmond?

Essie3 · 14/10/2009 21:41

Yes, I x-posted, then posted to say I'd x-posted but it got lost.

One more - this choking on vomit business, why does it happen? Why isn't the body cleverer than that?

vivaGlasvegas · 14/10/2009 21:42

there should possibly have been a hyphen there to avoid confusion.

poppy - or edmond?

much better

bitofadramaqueen · 14/10/2009 21:52

I just did a massive post. X-posted with a load of chat and my internet connection dropped.

I am so seriously fecked off with my broadband connection. It's always dipping out. There's no fault, I've tried different internet providers, been through internet explorer, safari, firefox and still it keeps disappearing.

So, am away in a huff. But it was a marvellous post full of wit and chat for just about everyone. Grrrrrr.

vivaGlasvegas · 14/10/2009 21:57

essie I x-posted with your x-posting about the x-posting! if you are in some way cognitively depressed (i.e, heinously drunk or very ill or some such thing) you may lose your gag reflex which helps stop you choking.

BDQ I shall imagine I read your witty posting and am ROFL. ahahahaha.

DebInAustria · 14/10/2009 22:04

Oh BDQ - how sad to lose all that wit and chat for everyone

Viva - I thought Poppy was a strange name choice for Sponge's baby boy!

Ktpie - well done for surviving the visit, I love Ikea and shared a breakfast in there with Ethan last week, and very nice it was too - smoked salmon, ham, cheese etc etc...

Updates here -
It's still snowing...
Living in a snowy country with a toddler is rubbish, it takes way too long to get ready to go anywhere
still nothing from the viewer
I nearly have a worktop on my new kitchen
Ethan has his appetite back - those wax crayons obviously made all the difference Amber

SpiderWilliam · 14/10/2009 22:14

Ktpie - Prof Crystal's theory was something like "text messaging is not damaging to the Engish language". He was a good theorist to have on and had some good jokes with Reginald D Hunter, who in my opinion is a legend. I only saw the end of the previous episode, but felt very sorry for the female theorist who had an expensive green suede jacket on that was ruined by big sweat patches.

Essie glad to know he isn't your arch enemy.

Deb can't believe it is still snowing. How much has settled? I went for a walk in the park yesterday with a friend and it was so warm she just had a vest top on.

DebInAustria · 14/10/2009 22:18

Spider - we have about 30 cms in the garden and there will be some ski lifts open this weekend at Arthurhaus - the earliest ever

SpiderWilliam · 14/10/2009 22:40

No way Deb. Will tell James.

ktpie · 14/10/2009 22:45

Just popping in to see if there was any Sponge news.

Spider - ah yes I remember, shame you missed the beard man, I may even go so far as to suggest a quick gander on iplayer, just to see the beard!

Viva - love the SG investigation, have you let the coroner know your findings?

Essie - yes you have uncovered my dirty secret. I live about 2 mins drive from Ikea and used to only go there every now and then (what might be classed as a normal amount) but my big downfall is that a couple of weeks ago I went to get some curtains and found loads of really good bargains in the bargain bin, think I rambled on about it on here, star purchase was a set of £50 curtains for £5 because they weren't in their packet, but otherwise perfect. Now I struggle to drive past as I am picturing a bargain bin overflowing with lovely fabrics that I might miss out on. So now I'm averaging about one trip a week and my fabric stash is taking over our house, but our sofas need re-covering so I need more!

BDQ - you've probably tried this but we had to try a few channels(?) when we set up our wireless to get one that didn't keep dropping.

Debs- don't put ideas of breakfast at Ikea in my head!

Poppy - glad Sponge is worrying about DOND, can't be too bad yet!

DebInAustria · 14/10/2009 23:04

Ktpie - breakfast at 8.30, shop opens at 9.00 - nice and quiet and not too many crowing round the bargain bin!!

bitofadramaqueen · 14/10/2009 23:15

Just lost another message! Wierd MN error this time. Off to bed in a drama queen huff!

DebInAustria · 15/10/2009 06:18

Just checking in on Sponge, will go back to breakfast supervision, you should look at our webcam today - so much snow!!

DebInAustria · 15/10/2009 07:38

Well done Sponge - your miracle baby is here at last. Can't type for the tears...

pleasechange · 15/10/2009 07:43

OMG it's all happened so quickly. It just seems like yesterday when she announced she was pregnant. Massive congratulations to sponge and mr sponge, and of course also to alex on his new baby brother. I love the name Michael, it's one of my favourites

pumpkinpureeandghostlypearls · 15/10/2009 08:48

pumpkinpureeandghostlypearls · 15/10/2009 08:51

Whilst posting PD got out the Super Washable Markers Amber recommended and has drawn all over herself and caret. They'd better be Super Washable. [sigh]

vivaGlasvegas · 15/10/2009 08:52

Hooray for Team Sponge! I can't believe he's here already, like Allnew, I also think this has been the quickest pregnancy ever - although granted I didn't have to do the being pregnant bit.

Well done m'love, I'm delighted for you, and hello Michael (lovely name!)

Can't check out fb at work, but am hoping there will be some photos by the time I get home?!
