Hi everyone,
Congrats to all of you who had a good night's sleep last night. Nice to know there's light at the end of the tunnel, isn't it?
Sorry for those of you with bad naps. Just look at the positive stories of the others and know it'll get better... one day
We had a good night here, but she definitely has got into a habbit of waking for a feed at 6, while she used to go until 7-8. I don't mind really. Can't complain if that's the only time in the night she wakes And unlike saturday, she has been going back to sleep.
Our naptimes were fairly successful today too. Both of them in the cot. 1st time she went to sleep on her own. 2nd time she went to sleep on the breast, but didn't wake on transferring. She could do with longer sleeps though. 1st nap was about 1h, second nap about 45min. After the 2nd one I could tell she was still tired, but awake. So it has been a case of carrying her around after that nap. The 'no cry nap sollution' arrived today, so maybe it's already working before I even had a chance to read it . The couple of pages I did manage to read confirm that she isn't getting enough daytime sleep. Apparently a good healthy nap should last at least 1.5h. Her longest is 1h, which would explain why she gets more and more grumpy/inactive as the day goes on.
Oh and re my ds's fear of germs. I did tell him about good germs and how dd1 isn't ill so can't pass on bad germs, but he didn't seem to believe me. We'll se how he is tonight. He doesn't mind sharing his bed with the cat though
Also thanks for the b'day wished for my dh.
Other than that. Today has been quite uneventful. Ironing, eBaying and that's about it.
Oh, talking about eBay. I was today, because they took one of my items off because it was a baby swimsuit with a built in nappy. Apparently swimnappies aren't allowed. C only wore it twice on our hols and never had an accident in it. I wrote them an angry e-mail saying that a lot of people would happily buy a used swim nappy and that their rules re selling used cloth nappies are a bit stupid too. After all if it states that they've been used and you place a bid, then you're clearly happy to buy a used nappy. Gosh I was angry with them. Especially as it came up with a message to say that I'd broken the 'adult material' rule or something like it. A swim nappy is hardly adult material.
