I hope that this will do you all as the last thread ran out.

Let the fun and chocolate eating commence...

trying not to but quite often fail...

...maybe that's it. its all -consuming being a mummy at the mo so don't have enough of me left to be any kind of DP to DH.

Swaliswan · 06/10/2009 09:40

Shouldn't the thread title be about them refusing to wee on their nappy?

Aha - and the Nuttster!

Bicnod · 06/10/2009 09:41

baby-led weeing, titsbots and tampons

(if i'm right about the return of my effing period being imminent)

Swaliswan · 06/10/2009 09:42

Me too, Bic,

Fabulous, Nutty reappears in time for the thread title debate.

Bicnod

But I don't feel normal - I feel fat, mood-swingy, totally drained and knackered, totally in love with my little boy but desperate to feel like 'me' again. I'm also very worried about the fact that we've hardly had sex since O was born (and hardly when I was pregnant) and I'm so scared that we're slipping into just being O's mum and dad and not actually a couple anymore in our own right.

Replace O with K and that's me - although I like to think that is pretty ormal.

LOL at tit bots and tots bits - pleeeease can we have that one!

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 09:43

One of my colleagues, shortly after having her first lo, said that she would now climb over her drowning DH to save her baby - at the time it was hard to understand but now I know what she means, and I'm sure it's the same for all of us. But I'm not sure it's the same for the DPs.

Feierabend · 06/10/2009 09:43

Where we put titsbots nappies to the test with baby-led weeing and banana poos?

Feierabend · 06/10/2009 09:44

Quick, someone decide on a thread title!

Swaliswan · 06/10/2009 09:44

Am I the only one who still hasn't had a post-baby period?

OP posts:
Guimauve · 06/10/2009 09:44

Yup, ditto on the Bicnod feeling!

That's what I love about this thread - whatever you're feeling someone else is also feeling it to.

Hugs to you BB x x

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 09:46

No periods here! Hurrah!

Did I make it sound like we're all feeling Bicnod?

Bicnod · 06/10/2009 09:47

Swali - I haven't had post-baby period yet but think it might be on the verge of returning (hoping its part of the reason i'm such a moody mare at the mo).

Gui - that is totally true. I heard someone say that you'd kill for your partner but you'd die for your kids. That is also true. The strength of feeling is just insane - that's got to be pretty draining in itself...

Feierabend · 06/10/2009 09:47

I'd actually manually drown dh if it saved my baby then he'd stop the loud breathing too

Bicnod · 06/10/2009 09:48

PMSL at feeling bicnod

well... DH isn't so someone might as well

BabyBolat · 06/10/2009 09:49

ROFL Fei - bloody brilliant can we have that as the title???!!

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 09:49

Well, has anyone done it?
