I hope that this will do you all as the last thread ran out.

Let the fun and chocolate eating commence...

Oh bebe Cardiff's a bit far for me to drop some groceries round...

You could even have takeaway for lunch - treat yourself as you're not very well.

bebemoo · 06/10/2009 08:42

I've been horribly lax on the food front...since DH is not home much I was using going to the grocery as our outing during the week...
No eggs. I do have some powered custard and a load of different teas. I have jars of pasta sauce but no pasta. A handful of 3 different frozen veg and lots of soft cheese and half a bar of super dark chocolate for a cheese cake I never made. There is candy in the house...but I don't want candy.

bebemoo · 06/10/2009 08:45

True take away is an option. Dominos is the only place that delivers by us. But I could load a pizza with veg and meats and it would be a good meal. That's right. Things aren't too bad if you can still get pizza.

Feierabend · 06/10/2009 08:46

Bebe, sorry you're not well. Have you got a little corner shop nearby? So you can at least get some bread, milk and a can of baked beans? I've used Sainsbury's and Ocado, both perfectly fine but you do need to order a day in advance. Hope you feel better soon!

Feierabend · 06/10/2009 08:47

x posts!

bebemoo · 06/10/2009 08:48

And I wholy agree with venting with (if possible)
With DH things are similar BB, but he does see the horrible irony of it and feels quite bad that his life hasn't changed as much as mine. He's looking forward to Moo being weaned and eating properly (tho to him that means having teeth and chewing) so that he can take her off me more

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 08:48

BB - you are so right about the not thinking! If I had to deal with any 'My Mum thinks you'r holding the baby wrong....', well, there would be looks.

Best not to run on broken foot! And when has Kara been lazy?

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 08:52

One really unhealthy pizza loaded with scary fake meat is also fine in an emergency! Roast squash/ frozen veg/ pasta sauce/ cheese = fajita filling!

Fei - actually would quite like a llama, but the llama-rage was dream-based, and therefore irrational!

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 08:55

Loud breathing - "I know it's irrational and you can't do anything about it but you breathe really loudly in bed and it really annoys me, especially as I am sleep-deprived. Sorry. Please allow me to rant about it, but actually feel free to ignore it on the inside"

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 08:57

Goodness, just enormous ranting in your head is really good, too! I shall mentally rant at your DH all day and see if that removes any tension from the universe, in some sort of chaos theory/ butterfly flapping its wings in the Amazon way.

Ooh, look, cock rings.

Feierabend · 06/10/2009 08:59

Sorry was busy on Rhubarb's birth video thread

bebemoo · 06/10/2009 09:00

Moo seems slightly better today too... so that's another positive.

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 09:03

Birth vid, where? How is H doing today?

Glad Moo is feeling better. Do you think she is snaffling all your freshly-made antibodies

BabyBolat · 06/10/2009 09:04

DH breathes heavily too and SERIOUSLY it's like a bloody ticking clock - the more you try to sleep the louder it gets!

Kids are magical though - just 20 minutes ago I was almost throwing him out the window and now he's asleep snoring and snuffling as he has a cold and I just want to eat him up x how do you stay grumpy at them!

BabyBolat · 06/10/2009 09:05

Oh gosh that birth video thread was brilliant!

Feierabend · 06/10/2009 09:06

H fine thanks, rashes still there - a slight one behind her ear and on her face too - have been using loads and loads of dermol and a bit of the steroid cream on her legs. She doesn't seem too itchy.

She rejected my lovely home made pear puree though. Tongue thrust still going strong so will wait another week.

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 09:07

Link link link link link link..........

Feierabend · 06/10/2009 09:09

Gui - I linked to the birth vid thread last night 20:07 - can't do the link right now as H is asleep on me so am one handed. Go and have a look, it's great fun.

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 09:09

For breakfast today there was porridge and (get me) fresh figs. H rather liked his bit of fig - most of the seeds from 1/8 went in somewhere!

If you've got a nice ripe pear (fnarrrrrrr), try just giving her a slice from a 'cheek'. That way you can eat the rest!

Guimauve · 06/10/2009 09:10
bebemoo · 06/10/2009 09:10

Well I figure she's got a day or two jump on me actually. It's her fault I'm ill
horrible pool of breeding bacteria and sucking on everything in sight...

I feel much better now (less stressed and depressed) knowing I can have a scary fake meat pizza and that Moo's only oozing from one orafice again

BabyBolat · 06/10/2009 09:11

link

Feierabend · 06/10/2009 09:11

I do think this antibody passing-on works. Was v impressed H never got ill when dh, dd1 and I were on holiday!
