I hope that this will do you all as the last thread ran out.

Let the fun and chocolate eating commence...

Hello hello - welcome back Lulu/WrigglyFish! Lovely to hear from you. But am concerned about your cat - do you think it may have run up some debts on your credit cards and is trying to destroy the bills before you see them?

Sorry to all who asked where we're off on holiday tomorrow - it isn't a state secret, I just didn't get round to answering . We're going to Cornwall with SIL/BIL and their two children, and also DP's step brother, his girlfriend, and his step dad. Should be lots of fun, and finally some time off for DP who is practically dropping with exhaustion, so really looking forward to it. So far, have packed all the kids things, no room left for us!

Gui sounds like lots of fun with chilli and rice etc - can I recommend a Silly Billyz long sleeved bib for H? They're jolly good. Or when warm enough, strip him down to nothing on his top half, skin is easier to clean than clothes

More in a minute, takeaway just arrived. With DP, who is quite drunk.....

WrigglyFish · 02/10/2009 21:25

Oh Gui - I love your weaning. Yes it's 3 baths a day for the whole household from here on in!

You're v. brave! I've only given S a bit of pale coloured food in the evening before bath so far (e.g. banana, melon, baby rice, yoghurt). Not really feeding him meals yet, just letting him swill things around in his mouth or touch them to see what he thinks. DD want so get in on the action though. V. keen to feed Baby Brother herself so I predict a v. messy winter chez LLB. And perhaps another complete repaint of the house in spring?

And Nutty and Gui - yes WOW is scary. And yes DH does that thing. With his whole family. His dad, his brother, his nephew - they go on 'quests' together. He wants to induct Sebastian into 'the guild' as soon as possible. Poor baby.

AA - great minds - we made stacks of gingerbread men yesterday. Then I remembered I'm trying to shift pregnancy pounds. Doh!

Fei - hope A&E can help out with DD. How are you all getting on?

Guimauve · 02/10/2009 21:27

Stupidly I took his long-sleeved overall/ bib thing off when I removed him from the high-chair, thinking we were done, and then continued the fun with him on my lap! {entirely own fault emoticon]. But he had chilli all down his legs! That requires a very long bib!

Will Orbit be having jam then cream, or cream then jam on his scones in Cornwall

Guimauve · 02/10/2009 21:29

at family quests! Not sure if that is better or worse than doing it with random strangers met over t'internet (stop sniggering at the back!).

WrigglyFish · 02/10/2009 21:31

Smutty ? Suggestive!? Only you.

Mmm - and extra pasties with those scones? Stop talking about food everyone. I ate with DD at 5:30 cos with DH out I couldn't be bothered to prepare 2 meals. Now I am starving. And just remembered there are still gingerbread men in the fridge. Aaargh.

Guimauve · 02/10/2009 21:31

Did anyone read the marvellous chat thread around a month ago that started off as a general complaint about unwanted husbandly nipple tweaking, and descended into a whole basket of crazy trollery about polygamous marriage?

Guimauve · 02/10/2009 21:33

There's not enough smut round here these days!

WrigglyFish · 02/10/2009 21:41

Just giggling belatedly about WFH ideas about my cat. Knowing him it is entirely plausible that he has run up mahoosive debts in our name. Probably ordered vats of vindaloo. He goes bezerk for curry. Keep meaning to film him scoffing chicken jalfrezi and popadoms and put it on YouTube.

WrigglyFish · 02/10/2009 21:44

As for smut or lack of Gui - I think it's hormonal. When pregnant I kept thinking I might earn my fortune writing smutty novels for Black Lace based on the filthy dreams I was having. But ever since giving birth my libido has gone the way of Shergar and Lord Lucan. If found please return to....

Guimauve · 02/10/2009 21:44

Cats are little b*&%%@rs for using your credit card. Usually buying Illudium Pew-36 explosive space modulators for their world-domination plans.

Guimauve · 02/10/2009 21:46

I've often thought that writing smutty novels might be a handy way to supplement the SMP!

Guimauve · 02/10/2009 21:49

Crikey! The Silly Billyz Messy Eater goes all the way down to the ankles on a toddler - I think that might be big enough.

Feierabend · 02/10/2009 21:56

Gui - I know I have asked your help a lot but if you have a moment, do you think you could have a look here please? Thanks...

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 02/10/2009 22:00

Indeed, Silly Billyz know their stuff! Orbit is a past master at getting messy, particularly with yogurt. By the way something that is very useful is an endless supply of rice cakes - anything that can't be picked up (like pasta sauce today, poor Orbit couldn't manage the twirls) can be smeared on a rice cake.

Reminds me of CutMeOwnThroat Dibbler, with his sausage inna bun - onna rice cake, anyone?

Actually, also reminds me of a friend of mine who had a theory that there is no televisual entertainment that couldn't be improved by adding the words 'On Ice!' at the end. Try it, go on.....

'The Queen's Speech - On Ice!'

'Channel 4 Racing - On Ice!'

'Casualty - On Ice!'

Anyway, I digress.....stop me when you're bored

WrigglyFish your cat sounds like a character. I'd keep an eye on that post, he's definitely up to something

Gui I read that thread about polys in the sheep barn - most amusing! Could do with some smut - hoping holidays will restore some zing.

Feier am crossing fingers for H's skin to get better soon. You poor things, it's just one thing after another.

Nutty really hope you get your back sorted soon - sounds like you have been messed around quite enough now.

Must go and pay attention to DP, he's sighing on the sofa.

WrigglyFish · 02/10/2009 22:00

Huh

By bizarre coincidence my cat is called Billy. Usually shortened to Silly Billy. Sbhould I purchase one for his next curry frenzy?
