I have got an implant ready and waiting but won't be able to get it put in now as she isn't there Fridays when I work from home.

Nice all these GPs earn 100k and can afford to do a three-day week, ain't it?

Bicnod · 29/09/2009 14:07

Hello hello

Still haven't managed to read the damn thread - Oscar has become super cling on baby since we got home this morning - I think he doesn't remember living here and is a bit freaked out because everything is slightly familiar...

Well we're back to shit sleep again... last night he woke up twice and was then awake from 5am. Hurrah!

Nutty - Oscar is exactly the same. He actually can roll over, he's done it 4 times, but he can't be arsed. And he can't be arsed to sit. And he can't be arsed to shuffle anywhere. He's happiest when he's being carried around - clever baby.

Boff - surely you should go home? You need to look after yourself.

Right - got to go and pound on an ebay dude who hasn't sent my stuff. Will try again for mammoth catch up later but might not happen with the limpet.

x x

BabyBolat · 29/09/2009 14:12

Ouch boff - you OK - I am on regular period number two and ouch and eurgh is all I can say!!! I was at drs today and all of them were on an away week abroad! hurumph!

Happy Anniversary G!

Yay Nutts!!!

I'm on the pill again but I keep bloody forgetting to take it - I too have no libido at all!

K having a rough few days - he can't breath properly again and so waked up panicking and then screams for ages. He has the need to be constantly cuddled and reassured (bless my little man x

Am a bit grumpy ordered some lovely louboutin shoes online on sale and they are bloody fake grrrr. Honestly! hurumph again

BabyBolat · 29/09/2009 14:13

And i have just eaten a whole pack of cadburys fingers. hmmm /

Hey Bic x

AuldAlliance · 29/09/2009 14:53

Ooh, Boff, you are having a rough time. Hope the trans-something acid helps.
Did the choc olives ever reach you? Am preparing a box for you, will look for lots of iron-rich goodies for it (or failing that lots of cheering treats!).

Ditto on the libido/lack of energy front here. The nabbing the condoms idea wasn't related to any actual need for them...

BoffinMum · 29/09/2009 15:12

Auld, I did get the chocolate olives and they were very nice, but the first batch were tastier. Is it too cheeky to admit that?

I have cleared my diary for tomorrow and I am going to see the doctor and hopefully get the implant put in as well.

dawntigga · 29/09/2009 15:24

Auld, nothing in the period dept here yet. I keep expecting it though and take precautions out with me everytime I leave the house!!!

Boff I have no idea what you have but I hope you get better soon!

For all those people with libido bah! I haven't wanted sex since I got pregnant.

AuldAlliance · 29/09/2009 16:04

Boff, not cheeky at all. Useful consumer feedback.
Were they a different make of olive?
The first lot were bought in a swanky pâtisserie, the second lot at Carrefour...

Hope the doc sorts it all out for you.

Guimauve · 29/09/2009 16:38

I just have to say tranexamic acid. Because I can.

No periods here, though now thoroughly terrified at the prospect!

Hooray for pain consultant.
Booo for fake Laboutins, poorly bairns, periods, eBay shysters, etc

I have made an appointment to have the implant in tomorrow.

Just applied for a job a long way away from here. Feeling quite daring. Cross with boss as he is blocking my payrise for this year and various other things. He is a nice bloke on many levels but I am too old to sit here marking time for promotion.

SpringySponge · 29/09/2009 17:01

Afternoon ladies! Still no news from Puzzle?

I knew you'd all be appalled at my film ignorance. I don't know how I've not seen anything! I'm sure I've seen quite a few films, but nobody ever talks about what I have seen

Nutty, that's exactly what I was like - I was checking him afterwards to make sure he was still as I left him. I'm dreading the day he hurts himself & I'm not there to make him better

Tigga, of those I've only sort of seen Pretty in Pink. Sort of. & I'm dealing with the head twisting with teeth by just removing him from the boob & cuddling him. He's slowly getting a bit better & he doesn't really mind it, so it's win/win.

Boff, that sounds horrible, especially with the having to keep off the anti-inflammatories Go to the Family Planning clinic for the implant as opposed to your GP - you can have it done any day, including at least Saturday, I think.

BB, gutted that the Louboutins are fake! How annoying.

I'm on period number 3, I think. Rargh.

& Nutty, you are not the only one

SpringySponge · 29/09/2009 17:04

There are a lot of s in my last post!

That's better.

BabyBolat · 29/09/2009 17:04

Springy thats because you are a nymph!

Nutty a stone??? seriously - since the implant - have you done anything else? Right

BabyBolat · 29/09/2009 17:05

Nutts, do you have puzzles number from the buddy system - will you text to see how she is?

Feierabend · 29/09/2009 17:08

Nutty - You MUST watch Breakfast at Tiffany's. Every girl must have seen this film.

Tigga - bite back.

Also H's whole life so far has been one big growth spurt!

Boff hope you're okay!

Auld no periods here either and I don't want them and don't need them and don't expect them to happen any time soon I have enough to contend with as it is, I would think!

BabyBolat · 29/09/2009 17:09

k is a little bugger, just phoned my sis and apparently he is laughing and playing around like normal - so he is clearly just playing up the sickness for me then! I'm telling you now if he thinks he is getting nothing but cuddles from me tonight he has another thing coming

BabyBolat · 29/09/2009 17:10

I have never watched BAT either x have always wanted to though x

BabyBolat · 29/09/2009 17:11

Anyone want to come round and help me in and out the bath... anyone??? anyone???

SpringySponge · 29/09/2009 17:21

BB, you have to get the implant put in when you're on your period, yes. & I've certainly not lost weight since having mine - she must be lucky!

How did you pay? Credit or debit card? Because credit cards have protection for these sorts of things...

I've not seen BAT either

& BB, I'd help you if I could be there in less than 7 hours

I love that K is feigning illness for you - what a little genius
