I hope that this will do you all as the last thread ran out.

Let the fun and chocolate eating commence...

Well we're still awaiting photographic evidence of both.

Feierabend · 25/09/2009 20:04

Tcha. Nutty's gone again.

Guimauve · 25/09/2009 20:08

FFS!

And I've got Calprofen on my feet. What a night.

Feierabend · 25/09/2009 20:24

What for Gui? Does it make the skin nice and soft?

Guimauve · 25/09/2009 20:33

It makes them quite sticky and fragrant! Dropped stupid stupid brand new bottle, which smashed resulting in:

  • No medicine for baby
  • Sticky feet for me, as am holding said baby, finally sleeping, made of velcro and therefore cannot wash feet.
  • Large puddle medicine and broken glass on kitchen floor, not cleared up for same reason.

Will report on skin softening properties tomorrow!

Feierabend · 25/09/2009 20:51

Oh dear. Hope you've been able to put H down. Broken glass on kitchen floor is not a good thing. Just be glad it wasn't Calpol, much worse IMO.

Feierabend · 25/09/2009 20:56

Whale sperm.

Feierabend · 25/09/2009 20:57
Grin
Guimauve · 25/09/2009 20:57

Calpol (Boots' own anyway) is in lovely plastic bottle!

Am leaving glass for DH for when he comes in from his lovely night out of dinner and poker with his buddies

Nutty! Has your broadband gone down already or are you reading from where you left?

Guimauve · 25/09/2009 20:58

Calpol is like whale sperm?

Feierabend · 25/09/2009 20:59

Look

Feierabend · 25/09/2009 21:00

It's so quiet on here I thought I'd tempt people back in with a bit of animal sex

Guimauve · 25/09/2009 21:00

Blimey. Do you think that has something to do with that 19lb baby?

Guimauve · 25/09/2009 21:01

ANIMAL SEX ANIMAL SEX ANIMAL SEX!!!

Feierabend · 25/09/2009 21:01

Quite possibly. Yuk.

mrsgboring · 25/09/2009 21:06

Oh God don't start with the weird stuff - I'm so sleep deprived I will lose all touch with reality. But I am here and seem to have both eyes open at the moment.

Nutty hellooooo E is recovering amazingly thank you. We go back Tuesday to find out what the thing actually was.

Boo for the sticky feet Gui

Fei are you feeling a bit better today?

mrsgboring · 25/09/2009 21:09

Animal sex? We are not amused.

[prude]

Guimauve · 25/09/2009 21:09

Even pregnancy is not a reliable contraceptive. Lawks!

Guimauve · 25/09/2009 21:10

Doooooo cover the legs on the pianoforte!

Guimauve · 25/09/2009 21:10

Hmmm. That made sense when I wrote it!

Guimauve · 25/09/2009 21:13

Feeling quite faint. Just going to find the sal volatile!

mrsgboring · 25/09/2009 21:16

Well don't go loosening your stays will you?

AuldAlliance · 25/09/2009 21:34

Well, hello there Nutty! Nice to have you back, you'll shake us up and inject a spot of fun and filth to alleviate my dull grammar lessons.

Can't provide photographic evidence of puppy-BFing, as 'twas many moons ago.

Expressing is indeed shit. Was working away at my desk at 11am when the doorbell rang and I found the lovely CM, who said one of the 2 bottles of EBM I'd expressed yesterday was off, so she'd come to get another one. And then this afternoon she thawed out a frozen one, but he fell asleep unexpectedly while she was doing it, so she never used it and now it has to go in the bin.
I am going to struggle on to try and ensure A is exclusively BF until he's 6mths, but it sure is shite.

I have also decided that I couldn't give a stuff if A needs the boob to fall asleep at night. It's so much easier to just give him it rather than fight and deal with his distress for hours. I'm just too tired to be tough on him. We'll sort it out when I have the energy to do so.
Please provide reassurance (hypocritical if need be) that I am not storing up terrible trouble for later.
