I have a deadline and need to work, but this is just a quick suggestion to go with the keyring

PS I was thinking more titles and came up with

Freeze it: reversing global warming

TS let's talk on skype! Hurrah! I have a big bump now!

dizzydixies · 16/09/2009 14:52

sambo & ALBS - Dylan still on the boob here too, only first thing in morning and last thing at night though - NY trip in Nov will no doubt put paid to that though

miamla - hope you're managing ok and remembering your arnica

just back from swimming lesson and Dylan asleep in cot & DD2 on couch - fortunately for me lovely lovely neighbour is going to collect her grandkids from school so she has very kindly agreed to collect DD1 as well so I don't have to waken them

am now sitting online looking things up so I can write my job description

alittlebitshy · 16/09/2009 15:01

la la la. nothing to say, but hello anyway.

better wake ds up now as i'd like him to want to go to sleep at bedtime. .

TwilightSurfer · 16/09/2009 15:11

popping on quickly as i try to get my day started (been up since 6:30a). loads to do and i've not had a shower which is pissing me off. reese smells of poo and the house is trashed (twas clean when i went to bed).

cyteen · 16/09/2009 15:47

Here is a wicked cheery song to get us all going today.

House of Spooks

I love Yo Gabba Gabba

hotterpotter · 16/09/2009 18:56

Ace song Cyteen sadly we do not get Nick Jr so miss the delights of Yo Gabba Gabba. You'd think DH would stump up the cash for cable based on that tenuous Ramones link but apparently he isn't such a massive fan as he pretends to be

Please anyone kick me off here tonight if you spot me lurking as I have some hazard perception clips to practice for tomorrow...

Hope all's well though. Am sorry to have missed the religious tat chat - we went to Lourdes about 15 years ago and it is one of the freakiest places I have ever been, with some excellent shopping potential

oopsacoconut · 16/09/2009 19:41

Oh HP - Yo Gabba Gabba is on channel 4 in the mornings - it just plays total havoc with my brain, even igglebastarding piggle is better.

off to bed as soon as dd'd light is out (5 mins). am about to snap if i don;t get some rest. Actually i have snapped and screamed in dd's face which was unforgiveable but she was being naighty, ds was howling and not going to sleep after his feed like normal and dh is out. plus there is mil's constant presence.

waaaah.

oopsacoconut · 16/09/2009 20:05

Evening all, Hope I'm not too late to wish SEB a happy 1st birthday. How was his day Ann? ( it is the 16th isn't it?)

albs loving all your holy crap . HOpe the ds went down ok and you get your much needed break?

Am silently fuming about our hockey 'selection' process after being at training tonight, but thats a whole other rant!

sambo hope work went quickly for you today?

CaptainCaveman · 16/09/2009 21:08

And Sazz, awww to your dd's

TwilightSurfer · 16/09/2009 21:11

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEBASTIAN!!!

TwilightSurfer · 16/09/2009 21:12

i will apologize for not catching that earlier. ann we love you and seb dearly.

CaptainCaveman · 16/09/2009 21:14

Hey TS, how are you lovely lady?

I tried putting Seb's Happy Birthday in bold...but the whole ruddy thread is still in bold .

Is your house un-trashed yet?

TwilightSurfer · 16/09/2009 21:22

oops i am with you on the yo gabba gabba subject. i can't even tolerate the commercials for it in between other shows. dd1 pops up, knowing i'm about to scream "turn the channel", to say it's just a commercial mom it will be off in a second. i'm not sure why it bothers me so but it does. on the opposite end of the spectrum i love the backyardagins.

both girls have been fed. i suppose this would be called "tea". i shall have them off to bed in less than 3 short hours. dh looked at me funny for putting them down so early yesterday. i looked at him and told him he should just go on about his own business. i love him dearly but most days i feel like he is just a border in this house. he doesn't have to think of anyone but himself in the mornings, during the day, or in the evenings. he comes home, eats, goes to the computer, tolerates my commands for help, goes back to the computer, then goes to bed. he'll stop and hang out with the girls but generally that is interrupted by the tv. being in the same room with the girls while the tv is own (his shows) is not the one on one time i rate as quality. any way...that's my rant for this evening.

proud moment: i was able to remove all wall paper from behind the toilet WITHOUT remove the toilet. it took several useful construction tools, a few pieces of left over trim from my kitchen cabinets, a towel soaked with hot water, and a lot of patience.

TwilightSurfer · 16/09/2009 21:24

Captain!! i'm fine (although my last post sounded grumpy). the girls are playing together. dd1 is in a baby doll stroller and reese is pushing her around the living room. just another night of circlemania with the kiddos.

TwilightSurfer · 16/09/2009 21:24

house still tip thus my "away"ness on skype.

Tis the same in our house. I get up with the kids 6 days out of 7. I get them both washed, fed and dressed. At the same time I'm trying to get myself looking presentable. Dh has to get himself ready and moans about that!!

Same here too re. tv progs in the evening. After kids in bed, dh will facebook then go down to watch tv. I'll catch him up at some point and we'll sit together before I head off to bed before 11, knowing I'll be up again at 6.35. For some reason, O's internal clock is jammed on 6.35!!

My dh got up with the girls one day recently but then sat around waiting for me to get up to sort out foods. If he knows he needs to do foods, he runs out to get something. I've never understood his aversion to the kitchen. I think he must have had something tragic jump out at him from a cabinet when he was small. He won't go near them. LOL!

I've just removed bit of crayon from Reese's mouth. Twas not a whole crayon I recovered. I forsee green poo in the future.

There's a calm over the house at the moment. I'm seated at my desk balancing checkbooks. DD1 is sitting at the dining room table working a puzzle. Puccini is softly playing on dd1's cd player from down the hall in her room. Reese is wandering around playing with bits and bobs strewn about. It's actually quite nice.
