There will be chocolate fines for the guilty!

Nom nom nom - no effect yet, but perhaps that's because I spent the whole pg stoned.

Guimauve · 10/09/2009 12:45

Dude!

God almighty, they're all off their tits in here. arf arf.

Sympathies, Boff, I am pumping like mad as well, in between working and generally trying to finish up all the dregs left over from the house move (boxes of books for charity shops, etc.). Nearly 2 months they've been knocking about.

The s*dding merry-go-round is in the way and I don't know if the removal lorry bringing my desk (inheritance from my Granny) all the way from Peebles to Provence will be able to park.

Are you all off having lunch or are you all high on rye?

Guimauve · 10/09/2009 15:09

Ah, my bro was in Peebles only 2 weeks ago. Biking I think.

I've just slept my rye off with a wee nap, and finished my BLW book. Rye(ish) loaf in the oven, though I don't think this one will be as successful. Made the mistake of thinking 'It looks awfully dry, I'll add a little more water'....

Yes, MrsG, hope all went smoothly and that you're getting on okay with feeding.

God, this cake is good. I had a slice this morning and another now (can't have tea without cake), but they were both thin slices. Or am I deluding myself?

AuldAlliance · 10/09/2009 17:11

Guimauve · 10/09/2009 17:21

It was a statement that deserved caps lock.

That cake was laced with ergot, y'know. You shouldn't have swallowed it whole.

eeek

dawntigga · 10/09/2009 18:41

Waves to all Puddleducks was much fun today, but I fell over and dunked him (we aren't supposed to dunk until next week). Sam is fine just brushed his face on and carried on. I get odd looks from other mums when I do things like this, it's like I don't panic enough for them!

Am off here tomorrow with my bessie friend for lunch on her birthday - she thinks we are going to a boring old cafe!

Ladies, I need your advice on EBM storage time here, please.

Actually, I think "curse the merry go round" sounds a bit like a lyric from an ergot-fuelled song, like Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds.

AuldAlliance · 10/09/2009 19:39

Nice restaurant, Tigga

Guimauve · 11/09/2009 06:52

Hope the advice on t'other thread proves useful Auld.

Have a lovely lunch Tigga! That restaurant looks lovely.
(Must learn to consider whether there is anything else I want to say before posting!)

LOL at poonami

O was up from 4.15 until 5.15 with teething troubles having only been up around midnight to feed... good night turned into bad night very quickly (yaaaaaaaaaaaawn)

Have lovely lunch Tigga

AuldAlliance · 11/09/2009 08:03

Morning early risers!
Sorry about bad nights and dawn poonamis.

Tigga, first I've heard of it. But then I am a bit out of it, not having a TV and hardly ever listening to the radio.
Did hear a bit of an interview with the health minister the other day on my way back from work. The interviewer asked why France was making such a fuss about swine flu when there were so few cases compared with the UK. He replied that there were so few cases compared with the UK because they were making a fuss. Oeuf/poussin, any one?

What is true is that in the "southern hemisphere holdings" (nice expression, that) the flu has taken on huge proportions. In Réunion tens of thousands of people have had it. Dunno about the winter aspect, though, since winter in Réunion is like a very good summer in the UK.

This milk thing is really, really getting me down.

AuldAlliance · 11/09/2009 08:25

Boff, the postie has just been. Thanks for all the goodies!
