Hello - I've just been hauled on by Springy

Sorry for lack of presence am back at work full time (mostly from home) and Kara is a demon - this crawling malarky was exciting for about half a day!

Right am off to do a very quick catch up!

BabyBolat · 09/09/2009 20:48

Big waves to Guimauve and Auld xx Puzz who is LL?

Springy - 9 inch bogey - nice!

Mrs G - big hugs! everything crossed that all is ok xx

oh Juw (sorry I get confused with new names) I saw H's pics on FB and he looks great - not too skinny at all - lovely and long in fact all babies look lovely and bouncy!

will try my hardest to be better at posting - I just don't know where time is going at the moment

Languages???!! core blimey

I'm currently watching Sex and the city the movie on sky whilst trying to do some campaign budgets for work... mn is probably a better call....

BabyBolat · 09/09/2009 20:49

Fine!!!

frekkles · 09/09/2009 20:51

((((((((((((((((((((((all of yous ))))))))))))

SpringySponge · 09/09/2009 20:51

Eww, what's that smell?

BabyBolat · 09/09/2009 20:52

Hey frekkles - Kara hates me coming home as he no longer gets spoilt by his nanny and auntie xxx

SpringySponge · 09/09/2009 20:53

That's really good news, frekkles. What did you do with H whilst you were at work? Yay, we're getting bits of our lives back!

PuzzleRocks · 09/09/2009 20:55

Frekkles - that's great.

BB - LL?? eh?
It says Ignis Internum.

BabyBolat · 09/09/2009 21:00

See this is why I don't have time for MN - I can't bloody read!!!

gingersarah · 09/09/2009 21:01

Hello Springy! I am appalled that you think Latin is useless - my one A level that I use nearly every day.

Bronze, I will tutor your dcs over the internet.

Auld and Boff and Frekkles - congratulations on going back to work, you stalwart heroes.

veronica clamata ginger fovere veronicam ibit.

SpringySponge · 09/09/2009 21:07

Oh, I'm sure you use it if you know it. But it's not useful in the same way that a modern foreign language would be.

BabyBolat · 09/09/2009 21:13

Springy I get what you mean, from and employer perspective it's not one of the languages we would look for on a CV - but it is a very good language I am sure x

dawntigga · 09/09/2009 21:14

Does anyone else notice the squeeking from the general direction of Puzzle?

I'm looking for a French tutor for us and one for Sam. If we move to France he'll be 4 years old so we only need him to learn a bit from about 3.

PuzzleRocks · 09/09/2009 21:17

RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR

SpringySponge · 09/09/2009 21:25

French is lovely. I wish I could still keep it up. One day. I can be one of those scarf-wearing bohemian women wafting in & out of various evening classes, my many bracelets jangling as I go.

BabyBolat · 09/09/2009 21:31

as opposed to your boobs leaking as you go now.... I have always been a bit rubbish at languages wish I wasn't but am poo - even turkish I can only just muster x

Ho hum - work is done for the day - Kara is asleep and all is well with the world until he wakes up again at 1.30

SpringySponge · 09/09/2009 21:40

Quiet, you. Boob leakage is sexy

George is asleep at the moment, but in his chair because he fell asleep unexpectedly 2 hours before his normal bedtime & I didn't get him in his sleeping bag in time. & disturbing him now would be madness.

Having said that, I bet I'm up all night again now

Kara is asleep ON THE FLOOR with his dummy pressing in to his cheek - he's happy I'm not going to change that...

Boob leakage does it for me...

PuzzleRocks · 09/09/2009 21:47

DH is a cunning linguist.

Where the hell is Nutty when you need her???

Guimauve · 09/09/2009 21:48

Ah, feel all warm and fuzzy with Springy and BB back!

Nuuuuuuuuuuuuttttttttttaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

All this literature and latin makes me cling to my c1v1=c2v2 like it is a scientific lifebelt in a sea of......something else. Though in theory I use Latin daily in my job - od, bd, tds, qds, prn, mitte, sig., recipe etc. Can't remember what most of the abbreviations actually stand for though.

I love our attentive mothering

BabyBolat · 09/09/2009 21:49

Does anyone else find that Myla add really offensive - some slim, toned, bronzed beauty lounging on a chair WILL NOT make me, post baby want to purchase... some advertising people are STUPID!
