AM, you nearly won a car load of ill people the other night.

DH had a migraine, I was sitting on the floor with my head in my hands with the world spinning, M was crying and spiking a temperature and we sat at fleet services not knowing what to do. Couldn't drive, freezing cold and miles from home. I nearly phoned you and cried. Manned up though and slept in the car for an hour, all of us and pushed on. DH still has the migraine though.

AprilMeadow · 10/11/2009 12:57

You should have just come round - its like 2mins from here. MIL's house backs onto it!!

FreeTheGuidoOne · 10/11/2009 13:01

I was so tempted and then remembered the thread I started when M was 7 weeks old and I was falling apart and thought you don't just drop in on people with little babies. Not that you're falling apart obviously but you have enough to do without dealing with waifs and strays in search of painkillers and warmth. We got home in the end.

AprilMeadow · 10/11/2009 14:35

Well.... next time you are passing you had better make sure you pop in for a cuppa

AprilMeadow · 10/11/2009 14:51

popped a pic of E&L on my profile

JamInMyWellies · 10/11/2009 17:21

Tilly close carrier went in the post today sorry for my tardiness. Dont be scared by the masses of fabric it really is quite easy once you get the hang of it. Practice with one of Tillys dolls before the wee man is born.

Themasterandmargaritas · 11/11/2009 20:45

Oh SOH sounds dreadful, poor you. These things always happen when you are on holiday.

I hope dh is feeling better by now.

Have you smacked made up with the neighbours yet LG&T? More importantly have you got me my freebie vvvvvv expensive foundation?

Just had a lovely group of ladies over for dinner as dh is away, sort of. A very nice evening.

largeginandtonic · 11/11/2009 22:52

OH FFS you should have called me. I could have rescued you! >

It must have been horrific How is dh? Taking anything for it? Is he back at work?

CM a delivery kit! That means oyu are having a baby soon Blardy hell.

I am getting quite excited at the prospect of all these babies.

I have just started af for the second time in 3 weeks. Joy.

TMAM i went to the Chanel couter today and have 2 samples to post I got the Vitalumiere. It had better make me look fantastic for £30 a bottle.

I just bought a Mei Tai for Bluebell, it is cold and she is a fidget in the buggy. Are they good?

Belle slept from 545 - 7am last night I was stunned. I just hope she remembers how to do it tonight

Bisous bisous

Themasterandmargaritas · 12/11/2009 05:56

I am now wearing full make-up. What is going on?

Mei Tei sounds like some exotic Vietnamese noodle dish. I hope it keeps her warm. Good sleeping by that baby, did you drug her?

AprilMeadow · 12/11/2009 08:53

Well done Bluebell!! we're I'm still enjoying the 7.15-4.30-7.00 sleep pattern that Lucy has fallen into - plus the other two seem to have sorted their sleep out for now and we arent waking now until 6.30/7am

CM i think my 'af' is similar to what you described.. very light, so am hoping that i dont see it again for a few more months

Have now finished (all bar dh) my xmas shopping and managed to wrap all the stocking bits for the kiddies last night. I want to get all their presents wrapped asap just incase they find them when they do their regular rummage through the cupboards.

Awards do on Saturday was really good fun apart from the building being evacuated due to a fire alarm going off. Panicked a lot as i didnt know where the girls looking after Lucy were going to be. Luckily i found them in the car park and L was all snug in her grobag and wrapped in a cardi. The girls has no shoes on because they had walked from their room to ours and didnt think they would need them! Was bloody freezing! One of the racing drivers went and got a foil blanket to wrap L in and also asked a random man (was attending the do) if i could sit his car whilst we waited for the firemen to make sure all was safe. Took 30/45mins before we could go back in and thankfully L settled with just a small feed as soon as we got back to the room.

Backstreet Boys were also fab - couldnt believe how close i was!! L did really well whilst i was out as she had to have 2 feeds from a bottle - not had one since she was 2/3days old!! Guzzled both down with only a few odd looks at my mum as to why she was having a rubber teat shoved in her mouth rather than a boobie She didnt wake until about 3am which was great.

Off to get my little chunker weighed this morning, she was 10lbs 11oz 2 weeks ago so am thinking she must be almost 12lbs by now...

largeginandtonic · 12/11/2009 09:49

AM where are those dresses from??? The girls look very sweet

Glad the do was a success and Lucy was such a good girl. The fire alarm must have sobered everyone up! Backstreet boys?! You are funny

TMAM that fish has a lot to answer for Are you getting compliments?

I am going to start a new thread. Any title ideas?

OP posts:
Themasterandmargaritas · 12/11/2009 10:25

Nope, no compliments. I'm not sure I can see the difference myself!

Perhaps the vitallum will transport me to a golden age of fine, plump, pore-free beauty...

BSB sounds like agony great fun April I bet Pink is very very jealous.

SOH, I can't believe you used the word 'crapola' in one of your postings. You've gone over to the dark side now.

Pinkjenny · 12/11/2009 10:26

Don't be dissing the Backstreet Boys - I went the night before AM did

TMAM - I went to Primarni for your bag on Saturday, unfortunately they are all sold out. Have asked Scoot to look in London for you

Jam - dress is amazing.

Themasterandmargaritas · 12/11/2009 10:29

I knew it! Just the slightest sniff of a boy band and out she pops.

Not to worry about the bag, thanks for trying. Scoot is the queen of Primark so if she can't find it then it wasn't meant to be.

How are you feeling after your tumble?

Pinkjenny · 12/11/2009 10:32

I'm OK, ta. I have horrendously sore hips and pubic area, and have now taken to wetting myself during the night. I love being pg, it's glamorous. TMI? Will buy some Tenalady today.

How bloody embarrassing, I was more concerned that someone had seen me fall, than I was about the bleeding that followed. All is well, anyway. I didn't go to hospital or anything. 33 week midwife appointment today.

I have now taken to worrying about what to wear when I am whale-like, wearing my Tenalady, on Christmas Day. Any ideas?

largeginandtonic · 12/11/2009 11:54

Poor you PJ. Retail therapy is what you need I think this would look great for Xmas day.

OP posts:
Pinkjenny · 12/11/2009 11:57

Oooh, I like that a lot!!!

Tillyscoutsmum · 12/11/2009 12:24

That is nice...

I'm having the same Xmas day outfit dilemma except I will hopefully have given birth - so will need to accommodate saggy-post-baby-not-pregnant-anymore- but-still-fecking-huge belly, be able to bf in it and be comfy but still reasonably glam (ha ha ha at the thought of being a week or so post birth and glam )

Sorry to hear hips etc. are getting worse PJ. Same here. I waddled out last night to meet some friends for pre christmas/pre baby meal and I can barely move today. I also have a hideous tummy bug (the effects of which combined with iron tablets are really really not pretty ). When the feck will it all be over ?! I'm just miserable

Tillyscoutsmum · 12/11/2009 12:30

Sorry - I forgot to mention anyone else during my self indulgent whinge fest.....

Jam - carrier arrived this morning - thanks for that I will tackle practising when I'm feeling slightly more lively

AM - such a cute pic of your girls

Gin - glad Belle slept for you. Let me know the verdict on the Vitalumiere - I could do with all the help I can get, frankly

SOH - that truly sounds like the journey from hell Hope everyone is back on form.

CM - how are you feeling ? Any signs yet ?

Do we need a new thread for those having problems loading this one ??
