She is a little star, damnn the nail varnish.

Themasterandmargaritas · 07/11/2009 11:00

Have fun tonight April. That's an amazing baby you have. She is going to be good as gold for the whole of her first year and then WHAM she turns 2 and all hell is let loose.

Can you tell I speak from experience?

Lovely new tattoo lock you have MrsJB. Very large sweet. Are you dancing tonight?

Moijaimelacountry · 07/11/2009 11:08

No not tonight, have a whole weekend off! need it to be honest, am pretty exhausted, has been a very busy Sept/Oct with Demos. Next one is the Telethon 5th December.

SKYTVADDICT · 07/11/2009 14:53

I have fb'd you TMAM re the Secret Santa.

DP has taken boys to his Ps for the afternoon/evening - they won't be back until 9ish when asleep and I'm not expecting the DDs back from their Dads until 6ish.

I am supposed to be tidying upstairs which has become a tip again since we took everything upstairs whilst doing downstairs! Downstairs looks lovely but I really don't know where to start upstairs so I am on here instead. Drinking tea and eating a cake.

When the tea is gone I have to get on!

DD2 also has something similar on her bits - must be the time of year ! She had a lovely talk from the very large african doctor man about wiping from front to back etc! She was extremely embarrased bless her!

29 December sounds like a lovely day to have your lo PJ. You must all be so excited.

Did Tils say only 4 weeks to go! Where does the time go?

My tea is gone now so I must depart with bin bags to the tip that is the upstairs of my house!

elkiedee · 08/11/2009 00:30

CM, less than 4 weeks to go now? Wow! I hope you get the birth you want.

And how lovely that your son is talking about his twin brother. It's very sad but I think it's good that you've talked about it with him and that he knows what happened.

JamInMyWellies · 08/11/2009 20:14

Got my dress!!!!!! its the redish coloured one in the main pic

Tilly I may well take you up on the offer of the ostrich wrap.

Hows everyones wkend been. We went to see Hi5 live Archie loved it and shmoks was so excited.

PJ what did you end up doing for your Anniversary? Hope oyu had a good one.

MrsJB I always wanted a tat but was to petrified of the pain to have it done.

AprilMeadow · 08/11/2009 22:19

JAM that is a gorgeous dress and you will look stunning in it!

Tillyscoutsmum · 08/11/2009 22:22

Jam - really - you're more than welcome. It cost me a bloody fortune and I'm not going to be wearing it again. I'd love someone else to get some use out of it. The dress is beautiful. How exciting

Hope everyone else had a great weekend.

Themasterandmargaritas · 09/11/2009 09:28

Oh it's wonderful! Are you hiding it from dp?

JamInMyWellies · 09/11/2009 10:13

No he has seen it and if I am truthful I really wanted him to come with me on Sat to try on dresses but he had to stay home with the boys. Will have to see how much alterations it needs as the one in the store was a size 8 and almost fitted and the one on ebay is a 10 so will need some chicken fillets to fill the boobs.

Themasterandmargaritas · 09/11/2009 10:14

you tiny tiny thing you!

SKYTVADDICT · 09/11/2009 14:07

Love the dress Jam.

AprilMeadow · 09/11/2009 18:23

Moijaimelacountry · 09/11/2009 22:28

Ohhh quick

been trying to post since Saturday, have been getting a stupid topic/usernicname message up and it wouldn't let me post. Got bored and gave up after a few attepts.

anyway,

Dress is stunning Jam.... very excited for you.

AM you'd best be careful now then what a bugger.

Bet it doesn't work again now!

Moijaimelacountry · 09/11/2009 22:29

Whoooooop!

largeginandtonic · 09/11/2009 22:53

The dress is gorgeous Jam. You are indeed a tiny, tiny thing! I may get one leg in an 8

MrsJB glad it is letting you post again!

AM that is so unair. Poor you. Like MrsJB say's be careful now

I am bit stressed tbh at ginhouse. I have not been getting much sleep. Bluebell full of cough and cold She has taken a couple of steps in the last few day's though!!

Have also been shouted at by a charming neighbour tonight. Something about his wife being abandoned and made to feel ostrascised by the street and it's all my fault. I was a bit scared and quite upset. Luckily i had 2 friends over with all their children for tea so i had someone to come back too.

Too depressing to talk about. Have no idea what i have done to deserve it. I am not in the playground anymore and refuse to be drawn in to it all. Not a very nice thing to do to a woman alone on the doorstep when her husband is away and all the children are at home. I only went round to pick a parcel up. They had been holding it to ransom till i went round. I had no idea it was there and only discovered as i phoned the company today to chase the package.

Some people are

So not in a great space. Still 2 weeks and dh home

Sounds like you neighbours need to Man Up a bit...... kindergarten? Hope it doesn't turn into a big neighbour hood debate. I can't stand the whole she said this, he said that, you did this... Agghhhhh gets my back up. All you need to deal with alone on top of the rest, how very thoughtful of them!

Sorry you are feeling a bit crap again, lack of sleep doesn't help. Perhaps a lock on your bedroom door and some flight refulers ear defenders would help?

Off to French this morning, then some food shopping, then the mad Tuesday h dancing, back, tea, me out etc... I will try to remember my seatbelt on the way this evening though.

charleymouse · 10/11/2009 10:56

Cheers TSM, Jam, TMAM, MJB; and LG&T consultant said I should unequivically be aiming for a hospital birth but it is up to me but he will not support it. No change there then. MW did risk assessment yesterday and I have signed my life away and am now in receipt of one home delivery kit. I ran through the birth plan (which was just a reprint of DDs) as well and she seems quite happy. The only thing she was a bit "ooh" about was the vitamin k thing, I had opted for orally but she said no one does that these days everyone opts for the injection. Is that right? What did you guys do? She also suggested I take up my GPs offer of the Swine flu injection which I had been going to decline. Not sure what to do about that one as well. Oh well thinking cap on. Only a few days left at work. Woo hoo!

Jam dress is lovely, you will look so glam and TSMs wrap would keep you nice and snug. Is it the reddish on in red or the reddish one in another colour?

Hope you had a nice anniversary PJ, 5 years where does the time go?

TMAM hope Dd is feeling better. Have FB you re Secret Santa

Tattoo! Oh my word belly button and tongue piercing next, unless you already have these things MJB. DON?T FORGET your seatbelt!

AM well done on the sleep, I can't believe Lucy is 7 weeks old already. Oh no on AF, is it definitely? After DD I stopped bleeding and then had what I thought was AF about 6/7 weeks after and then no more for 18 months. Best be careful now then.

LG&T well done on the weight loss, dress is very glam. Blah to your neighbour, and breathe, only 2 weeks.

Sky how was the tidying up, are you decluttered. I have yet to reach the point of decluttered. It is something I can only dream of.

Elkie can't believe it has gone so fast, three weeks tomorrow. It hardly seems 10 minutes since I was weeing on a stick.

Hi Scoot, Abby, and everyone else.

How exciting TMAM on your new house

LG&T How bloody rude/mean to have ago at you. Give him what for when N is home

CM YAY on having the home birthing kit All 3 of mine had the vit K jab.

Been for my 6wk check today - total waste of my time. Was 25mins late going in, had to feed Lucy in a waiting room full of old people and men! Then when finally seen, she had no idea why i was there and all she did was take my bp! I mean at least she touched me, the hv didnt check anything on L at her check! She did say however that af has more than likely returned because L is sleeping for a 9hour block at night and its not been a 1 off. So a double edged sword really... L sleeps well and i get af back or she is up in the night lots and they stay away... i think the first is the better option, just a bugger really!

Off to see Backstreet Boys tonight - have been pumping each morning for a week now to build up a stash for dh to give to L.

Tillyscoutsmum · 10/11/2009 12:25

TMAM - how exciting re: new house

CM - Tils had Vit K injection. I remember it was administered none too gently by the same masochistic midwife who stitched me up. I wanted to kill her [pfb/new hormonal mum emoticon]. Think I'm going to decline swine flu jab as well.

AM - poor you. I got my AF back at about the same time with Tils, despite exclusively bf'ing. Perhaps a price to pay for having reasonably good nights' sleep ?

Gin to neighbour. Sounds like a bit of a loon to me.

I feel like baby might be head down now - suddenly very heavy feeling in my bits (sorry if TMI) and going to the loo loads at night. I'm exercising the law of sod by having absolutely nothing ready for his arrival, thereby hoping to avoid going over due date. Growth scan in 2 weeks

FreeTheGuidoOne · 10/11/2009 12:34

It's not quite passive aggressive enough though. Perhaps "I understand getting to know people can be difficult when you're not the most friendly of people and tend to aggravate instead of befriending". They're just lashing out and it's crapola that it's at you, but it's not about you.

Charley good news on the hb, about ds commenting on his dt but quite lovely too that he is already talking about him. M had the injection btw. Researched it and it's safe and more effective than the oral dose. Tis your decision.

Jam, that dress. Beautiful.

TMAM, a whole house? Will you start on the yurt straight away? My db sent me a text last night worried that he'd offered to move in with a woman off the web and he wasn't sure if you were offended by his forthright behaviour. Assured him it takes more than that to offend you and next time he might want to try a flasher's mac.

AM, as soon as they sleep for 6hrs, your body wakes up and wants to make a new one. Of course some of us fed every 2hrs day and night and still got their af back 2 months in.

Oh fgs, this thread is too big. Start a new one and I will talk properly. Tis playing up. Am knackered. Have all been ill. Went away for the weekend so that I could be ill in the car, M could vomit all over a different county and came back so that dh could do the same here. LG&T, I would have visited but seriously, contagious. Gave it to SIL as a 21st birthday present, her dp, her flatmates, my mother. You did NOT want it.
