What you are doing food wise sounds perfect lg&t, don't get bored try to give yourself some variety and be careful with the bread. c'est ça, voila facile..

I think you've detected my problem, I need to ignore them more, probably alot of what gets on my tits I could ignore. I just can't help thinking that by ignoring it's almost giving approval of what they are doing and of how horrid they are being to each other. It does feel like a viscious circle. I will try, it may at least help keep me slightly sane.

I'm going to try the NO answer to Muuuuuuum too, I like that idea.

Took Jorja to the quacks this morning. She has had sore bits for 5 weeks now, I am crap and have just left it deciding it would clear up. I tried a few creams, nappy rash type stuff over the last few weeks but nothing seemed to have cleared it. The dr reckons she has a vaginal infection I got a wrap on the nuckles for leaving it so long, she now has antibiotics a cream and something to stick up her vag before bed, GREAT! Nice job.

Oh and I have been bad too. Got stopped by a very handsome young Gendarme (I couldn't take my eyes of his gun holder) last night on the way to taking h to his class. I'd reversed out the drive done 50 yrds round our bend and he was stood on the side of the road.... I hadn't put my seat belt on yet!
He was very nice but decided that in front of the children he would teach them and me a lesson. Fined me 90 euros and whacked 3 points on my licence... not so handsome all of a sudden! Sure the kids will thank him for that lesson come Christmas.
I told Sylvie all about it later in the evening, she lauged and told Alain her husband. We went off to aerobics and then back for our demo group practice after. I walked in to cheers and shouts of did you remember to put your belt on this time? News travels fast in Rural France. I got ribbed all night for it... think I have learnt my lesson from that more than the government raiding my bank account.

Maddie has her little french friend her this avo, will at least keep her out of my hair.

Hope everyone is OK.

AM where are you? come give us an update on your gorgeous brood.

charleymouse · 04/11/2009 12:54

Really truly just a quicky, off to lunch to help with this constant state of heartburn. Whoopee! Four weeks today

Thanks for all your support re my hombirth and not thinking I am totally loopy.

TSM and PJ were lovely at the spa meetup and let me have a moan and wail about B. G is pointing to his picture at the minute and saying "my brother B; poorly, died" he is so sweet when he does it and it just breaks my heart. Blardy hormones.

Oh poo MJB I got a parking ticket last week as had left my purse at home on way to DDs dental apt.
Don't ask. BAD MOTHER ALERT. She needs 4, FFS! 4, extractions and 4 FFS! crowns. I feel so shitty as though it is all my fault. Guilt humph am wearing it at the mo.

Right will catch up later I promise.
Love you all and big hugs in a non MN kind of way CM

AprilMeadow · 04/11/2009 14:55

Hi just a quick one as i dont know where the time has been going lately!

MrsJB at the fine
CM, poor A and at the parking fine

Things ticking along nicely here at the moment. Lucy just had her 6wk check and all is well. The hv said it all sounded too good to be true and that i was very lucky to have the level of family support and a happy baby.

Lucy is smiling loads and starting to 'chat' which is lovely and makes you go all gooey inside. Ella is being a little difficult some days but i guess thats the terrible 2's, other than that she is still just a cutie that is chatting lots. Jack is doing really well with his reading and learning of words. So all in all everything is currently smelling of roses in Meadow Towers. Just wish i had more time to MN and also get stuff done around the house

largeginandtonic · 04/11/2009 19:39

AM i am so pleased that little Lucy is doing so well. I must come up for a squidge again soon.

You may get to see my little (well not little at all actually!) nephew Isaac She has been in Wales for a family trip showing him to the rellies but is back now.

She was so pleased to hear about the seats, she has him in a donated very old Britax one atm. She really needs a proper seat, he is a HUGE baby. Only 6 days between him and Bluebell but he looks about 4 months older!

CM i would be weeping too at G talking about B. It must be so lovely to hear but painful too. You are such an amazing lady to deal with all this. No wonder it catches up with you, hormones or no hormones. I can't believe you have just 4 weeks to go

You will be fine at home. I would come and hold your hand if you wanted me too When SOH does it again i am delivering Inigo.

MrsJB that's it, you have to pick your battles. It is hard but you soon adapt. When dh comes home it is incredibly hard. He, of course, gets on to them about all the things i sort of let slip. I have to bite my tongue The kids soon adapt though.

Jam how are you? Dress ordered? Woofa ok?

Scoot where have you gone?

I have been shopping for kid shoes, twins and dd1. DD1 success as she had come back from her Dads with a perfect fit boot name, so i just picked them up. The twins are a 3 now so the range has gone down alot! I have to order online in to store. What a blardy faff!!!

I am having a glass of wine, or 3.

Today i have had a ham and salad roll. I will have wine and crayfish salad for tea. I need the wine. The carbs i can live without. This is where you tell me there are carbs in wine...

Oh ffs that is the 3rd time i have clicked on start a new thread instead of add a message. Stooopid new layout.

The fines!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noooooooooo. I thinki have 3 points on my license atm, from speeding ages ago. At one point i had 6. I do drive too fast, just ask PC SOH. He was following me Off duty thankfully

Moijaimelacountry · 05/11/2009 09:12

WINE... god, packed with carbs, stay well clear! although a lgg&t or 2 with slim line tonic would be much better.

I seem to miss an awful lot somehow, Coat dress, Trilakes, Pink?

The dress is beautiful lg&t, what shoes indeed and hair? up/down, curly straight?

CM.. bless G, hearttugging. You are allowed to wobble. big non MN hugs.

Tillyscoutsmum · 05/11/2009 11:53

LG&T - the dress is lovely. I have a silver wrap which would go fabulously if you wanted to borrow it. Can take a pic if you want

CM is a wonderfully brave lady - the three of us must have looked at sight, wallowing around and all sobbing. No wonder the pool emptied out I can imagine G taking about B must be so lovely but so sad at the same time

Hope your head gets better MrsJB

PJ - how are you doing after your fall ?

largeginandtonic · 05/11/2009 14:02

Ooooooooooooooooooooh can i Tills? That would be fabulous. I don't relish the idea of sshopping with small people. It saps the fun out of it somewhat. Will FB you

OP posts:
charleymouse · 05/11/2009 14:31

Too small for me LG&T but look lovely. I still do not know what I am having so no use as yet on girly things. Have a pump and as I leave it so long in between my babies do not need car seat either. Sorry. Dress looks v glam, what was the occasion?

Thanks AM, Lucy is doing brill, well done, has Js school friend terror been sorted out yet?

TMAM thanks, will email you re SS.

MJB I deffo wobble ask PJ and TSM they have seen it in all its wobbly glory.

TSM we probably did look a sight but I have to say I think we all looked quite well especially by the end of the day when we had been thoroughly pampered.

Consultant apt tomorrow where he will probably try to deter me further from my homebirth but I will remain bloody minded strong and resist his scaremongering.

Waves to everyone.

Tillyscoutsmum · 05/11/2009 16:39

Gin - no probs re: wrap. FB me later. I need to list some stuff on ebay as well - its such a PITA - much easier buying stuff . I'm not buying any more maternity stuff - less than 6 weeks to go (hopefully) and this is definitely the last one

CM - good luck with the consultant. I'm sure you'll be fine

JamInMyWellies · 05/11/2009 21:47

HEEEELLLPPPPPP

JamInMyWellies · 06/11/2009 09:56

God arent you glad this wedding is only a couple of months away can you imagine how much I would be wittering on about it if it was another yr away. Dress pretty much sorted, Yay!

That dress is gorge BTW LG&T. Whats the occasion?

I have sort of skimmed through saw a wee bit of dieting, chat about Chitty Chitty bang bang the most frightening movie ever I still turn it off when the chid catcher comes on. My boys will not ever be watching it.

Good luck with the consultant Charley.

BAck later will catch up properly then.

Pinkjenny · 06/11/2009 10:18

Ooh, I do love a good wedding. Incidentally, it's my wedding anniversary today, 5 years. This time 5 years ago I was arguing with my best friend in the hairdressers.

The day did improve after that, and it was truly, the best, best day of my life.

I have upset dh though, as he booked a surprise meal for us tonight, and I have told him I don't want to go. I'm too fat, I'm uncomfortable, have nothing to wear, and just want to hide in the house. He understands, bless him, but I do feel like a right cow.

Themasterandmargaritas · 06/11/2009 10:43

Ooooo Pink, Happy Anniversary.

Don't feel bad, why not just do a posh meal at home instead (courtesy of M&S)? Get his fave food and a bottle of bubbly.

Jam, secretly secretly I am delighted you chose a more traditional type of wedding dress.

Charley good luck today with the consultant, stand firm!

How are J's bits MrsJB?

Dd has been off and on all week with a sort of flu-ey thing. I never bother taking them to the drs but this time I did for some reason, I have no idea why. So an hour and half and £20 later he tells me it's a virus. That's why I don't go.

Anyway her would-be-best-friend-but-the-friend's-mummy-won't-allow-it is also sick, her mum goes to the dr and he says it's swine flu. Perhaps. So now she has to inform the school, all the mummies, etc etc. Just get on with for god's sake.

Tillyscoutsmum · 06/11/2009 11:42

Happy Anniversary Pink. All these winter brides. I can't believe its our 1st anniversary coming up - it seems like years ago (not in a bad way but ykwim )

Jam - that JCrew dress is just stunning. I had vintagey (ish) jewellery and hair clip which you are more than welcome to borrow if you want. I think the pics are still on my profile. I had the earrings to match my necklace which are completely unworn because they were too big/heavy for my ears. I've also got the ostrich feather wrap and the Jimmy Choos.

Have fun trying the Jim Hjelm ones on - if nothing else, they'll give you an idea of what you like. Some of the bridesmaids ones are lovely and can look bridal - as long as you steer clear of very shiny taffeta type fabric

TMAM - I'm with you on rarely going to the GP (and I don't even have to pay) but I'm not sure if Til might have some sort of infection. Since we started potty training I've noticed things smelling a bit..... fishy .... Her bits are a bit red and sore as well.

She came to the midwife appointment with me yesterday and got very excited when she could hear her baby brother. She just keeps asking when he's coming out so she can play with him I suspect she might be disappointed for a while

Moijaimelacountry · 06/11/2009 19:05

Tils take her, I got a right telling off for not taking J sooner, I think they "play" a bit more not wearing a nappy and probably pick up bugs.

TMAM, J's "bits" are looking better, still a bit red but the discharge has gone. She had a bit of a loose bum tonight though, the penicillin perhaps?

Jam the dress is beautiful. You would look stunning in a bin bag though.

Happy Anniversary PJ, hope you have a relaxing evening whatever you do.

CM, how did it go with the consultant today?

AM..done, very pleased, didin't hurt a bit. Shhh Enjoyed our natter last night, hope the dooo goes well.

Bonne week-end à tous. Bizzz

AprilMeadow · 06/11/2009 21:54

Jaffa or should i say LB i will need to see it!!

largeginandtonic · 07/11/2009 08:17

You have a tattoo MrsJB?

Jam the dress is gorgeous. I can't wait to see pics. You must be so excited

CMwhat happened with the consultant? Hope he wasn't too beastly to you. It is not very nice.

When is your do AM? The Xmas Ball is not till Dec.

The weight loss is going well,i think. No scales and i can't find the wii fit! Annoying.

I had some friends over for chinese last night but was sooooooo good. I had Bejiing style king prawn and some egg fried rice. Not much and NO prawn crackers.

I had better magic in to a 10 very soon...

OP posts:
largeginandtonic · 07/11/2009 08:24

Agree with MrsJB take her Tills. They do play more when the nappy comes off. Tis gross.

How cute that she wants little Rudolph to come out and play! I want him to too!

OP posts:
Themasterandmargaritas · 07/11/2009 08:50

Awww Tils, that's so sweet. I can see these big sisters are going to be so helpful when their brothers come along.

Is it MrsJB? Really? What is it? You are brave. I would love one but I'm way too much of a chicken.

We went to a dooooo last night. We helped to save many lions. There are only 2,100 left in the whole of Africa, how awful is that? Local artists decorated some lifesize resin sculptures of lions and they were auctioned. It was remarkable, sadly our budget didn't stretch to us having a lion in our garden.....

SOH, where are you? PC Plod not on nights this week?

I need more Secret Santa applicants plllleeeeaaasseee otherwise it's going to be mighty tedious.
