Hmmm, sounds like some of the Ps on here could do with a trip to Cyteen's Respectful Menfolk Bootcamp Attitudes adjusted while you wait.

VG what a coincidence, my handsome devil has also been rather cross today, but miraculously cheered up after a liberal application of bubble and squeak with bacon bits Now he's having a nap, maybe I'll have the chance to scrub this revolting floral perfume off my hands - never buy cheap baby wipes, they STINK!

AnnVan · 14/09/2009 14:00

Aaargh!
DP just called. seems we have been in contact with E.Coli! Godstone Farm has an outbreak, and has just been shut down. Loads of children in hospital some seiously ill. Ugh. now starting to be suspicious of Seb's almighty farting.

AnnVan · 14/09/2009 14:01

Oh and no VG I'm not joking about the change of heart. i do want a number 2 but when things like this hapen I start to wander if it's the right thing to do.

hotterpotter · 14/09/2009 14:13

Eek Ann, hope you manage to escape the E.coli and on your behalf again re your DP. I would deffo get Cyteen to sort him out , and yours too Loti, I bet she would sort them out so well you'd have to take them home in a paper bag

Should be cooking tea, but just wanted to say I am relieved to see you today VG as I had a dream about you last night and it wasn't nice Good to see I am utterly non-psychic

ladies i've done enough today.
got me up
got dd1 up
got dd2 up
fed dd1 waffles, bacon & milk
fed dd2 bottle in crib, cheerios in truck
delegated dd2 diaper change to dh
completed forms for dd1 school
took dd1 and neighbor to school
dd2 & i went to grocery store
unloaded groceries
put away groceries
gave dd2 a whole apple while i unloaded the dishwasher
reloaded dishwasher
started roast in crockpot (beef, potatoes & onions)
picked up all stray toys and returned them to dcs' room
tossed all laundry lying about in laundry room
sweep dining room & living room
took out remain garbage (truck runs today)
made myself some toast (which dd2 took)
made myself some more toast
poured myself a glass of dr pepper (because i need caffeine)

now i'm here and the above took 5 whole minutes to type because dd2 needed orange juice to go with her toast

Lucky your dh needs an intervention. The reality that he is a member of your family, a spouse and father seems to be lost. Shall we all meet outside his office at 5? We must act quick because you know he'll attempt the "client drinks" excuse after work and wind up at the pub til 10pm.

Sorry to hear about all the babies that are not eating. For the record, Reese is eating their portions. OMG! She's shoveling it in like there's no tomorrow.

I have much more to do today so I need to go, check facebook, check emails, go potty (so i can flip through my new martha stewart magazine in peace) and they begin again on one of my renovation projects. I'll be starting the day off with sanding the new kitchen cabinet trim and hopefully staining it.

ugh. To add to the tally of DP being a dick. on the phone earlier, I said to him that I might ask him to do a couple of the nights while he's off work. The answer? Well there goes my nice relxing break then. Grrrr. Heaven forbid he actually help out for ONE NIGHT. It's not possible for him to let me have one night's break. Oh no. Only people in paid work get breaks it would seem.

Hi all.
Bad night for a lot of us then.
Ds up every half hour from 9pm screaming.
very very snotty today.

Ann have to agree with sazzles It is not fair, I have had similar and have asked. We should not have to ASK. We both agreed to dtart a family. I ignore both dcs crying at night on occasions, and he can't let them cry so gets up.

Sorry to hear of other poorly babies.

CC hope O face is ok after that drop fall.

red that does sound a lovely day, but so for ds getting bullied. How awful.

sazzles poor dd1 My dd is not ill, but is very very clingy lately. Never known it.

She also starts preschool in the morning. Goodness knows how it will go.
How did dd get on? Did she enjoy it?

I have been trying to get pics on profile of 'Lottie' but not working yet, so put some on FB.
She has settled in nicely and yes I am almost in love.

AnnVan · 14/09/2009 18:40

thanks guys. I WILL be talking to him this evening when he gets home.
No1 saw the pictures on fb. She is a cutey isn't she? Better not show seb the pictures, or he'll try to steal her Boy of mine loves ponies and rabbits
Lots of poorliness around at the mo it seems.
i really ought to do something productive but can't be bothered.

Madly quiet on here this evening

Hope you're all off being pampered by DH/Ps

No1 your pony is very cute, she looks tiny! Good luck for your DD tomorrow, I bet she has a great time and will give you more time for riding to spend with DS

Sazz sorry to hear DD1 feeling under the weather hope a good sleep sorts her out.

TS it's no wonder you're skinny - you never stop!

All quiet here, DH playing football on playstation while I look on ebay practice theory test questions. Poor DS, we were 5 minutes away from the safety of bed time when he fell over and bashed his beautiful nose on a plug timer of all things it was really bleeding, even DD was upset, but think he just scraped it so hopefully no scar. He is just so clumsy it's terrifying

He's taken to dragging DD's high chair (it's like a tripp trap or whatever they're called) to wherever he wants to go then climbing up it and giving me heart failure We have to keep it laying on its side to avoid broken skulls. I am dreading the balcony part of the holiday...

How's DD1, sleeping it off?

Sounds like a good plan if they're happy and you can afford it. Commuting to London from Gloucestershire does seem a little extreme!

Well with your tiny portions you must be saving a fortune on grocery shopping Do you think they will have more opportunities to work closer to home if you wait until next year? Do I remember you hoping for Birmingham or did I just imagine that? Could anyone hope for Birmingham??? (Sorry Loti I think you are from those parts )

I'm late again then am I? Will warm up the urn for breakfast. Bread machine loaded and set to deliver fresh hot bread at 7am.

Been out to the uke jam with a friend this evening as DH wanted to record his demo. We had a lovely time singing away and even strumming a few chords here and there, so many ukes you couldn't hear that ours weren't in tune at all! Friend thoroughly understood my crush on my neighbour who runs it, he has real David Tennant charisma (even has over-excited Scottish accent). Back by 10pm and recorded the vocals for the demo. My voice is now f*ed.

I bought some duck a l'orange pate today - is it wrong to have it on everything at every meal?
