Thanks girls, for letting me start this thread.

Well as Maisiemog and Biglips have said --- I am pregnant!

OMG - once I got over the shock I am now quite excited and dp is absolutely delighted.

EEK - I'm still on maternity leave!

Anyone else got a small age difference between babas - if everything goes O.K there will only be nearly 16 months between them.

Anyway, dd is fine and is now eating happily if not too well - still a bit of a chunkster - but lovely. She is now also drinking water - hurrah!!!!! Still no teeth or crawling but she is creeping backwards and sits up well.

Hope you are all well - still think this parenthood lark can be difficult!

Indian - definately

jbadgirl · 10/06/2005 21:33

Hi everyone, havent posted for a while as have been pretty busy at work!!

Ds has been doing really well at nursery and eating loads of food and getting on with all my staff (im 3rd in charge!)

Still no sign of any teeth and he isnt rolling or sitting yet either. BUT he has been smiling a little more!!! AND at theraplay in the sensory room he reacted to the bubble tube and LOOKED at the bubbles rising!!!!!!!!! He is such a little champ for doing this and even though its taken him a while it is so very special and im soooooooo proud of him x

Ds has now been referred to a lady who works with children who are visually impaired, which gives us another network for support. She has seen him twice and is the one who was there when he looked at the bubbles!!! She said "he definately looked then!!!"

Dp now has 2 p/t jobs one of which he is just starting this evening in a local nightclub. The other he has been doing for a while.

Cazzybabs - well done for setting a date for your wedding, its a little over a month ahead of mine!!!! (may 6th).

Glad everyone is doing well and i do agree that curries are the best. I never had one craving whilst preggie but since he was born i have had cravings like there is no tomorrow!!!

Still need help to put a pic on member profiles and then you can put another face to a name!!!

KathH · 10/06/2005 21:40

The file has to be jpeg and under 18kb (apparently)

Maisiemog · 12/06/2005 20:57

Hi all, I haven't posted for a while, bit tired. Yawn! ZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
BUT give your little boy a kiss from me Jbadgirl, for liking the bubbles. Very clever little boy!
Biglips, Pog does a click. He especially does it when he sees someone he likes, I think it's like his way of saying hello. Click!
Hope all the expectant mums are taking it easy and eating lots of dry toast and lounging around.
Geo, how's your lo getting along now? Did you find him a new milky drink?
We're having a festival here in Leith, Edinburgh and tonight we're off to see a classical light/music thing - and probably to get soaked by the intermittent rain.

Bellie · 13/06/2005 16:19

Hello all trust everyone is well!!
DD has mastered crawling and is now able to stand up in her cot - gave me a right scare the other day when I walked in to find her leaning over the top - have lowered the mattress now but not doing my back any good as keep forgetting to lower the sides before putting her in or taking her out!!

jbad very proud vibes your way for your ds!!

geogteach · 13/06/2005 19:18

Milk not really sorted, DD's dietician said to get him on something else got DH to get a colleague to write a prescription, took it to chemist but manufacturer not supplying it at the moment, so DH got a different prescription today and the chemist is ordering it for tomorrow. Don't know what you are supposed to do if husband isn't a dr?! Also supposed to take him off all other dairy and as the only jars I can find that are veggie without cheese are 4 month ones looks like i'll have to make sure I cook for him!
Work is addling my brain, left my wallet in Ruislip yestaday, DH had to make a 2 hour round trip to get it, today the man who delivers my vegetables phoned to say I'd given him a cheque made out to play group, only 6 weeks to go

Maisiemog · 13/06/2005 20:39

Geo Counting the days!! At least the wallet was still there.
I make Pog big vats of stuff like (tinned and rinsed) kidney beans/chick peas and squash or sweet potato and papaya, blend it with hand blender then stick it in Tesco bendy icecube trays (they are the best!!!). It doesn't take that long, because I'm not doing anything fancy - just tins and steaming. It lasts for a couple of weeks as I only do dinner that way.
I reckon as long as he's getting extra iron and vit C thats cool.
What are you doing for milk whilst waiting for the prescription?

hotmama1 · 13/06/2005 21:02

Evening girls - sitting here feeling sicky (nice). Well dd is doing the moving backwards thing until she meets a hard surface and then rocks on her knees - bless

Really think she may be teething as she still has no teeth - gone off her food but is taking her milk and she isn't wasting away - so I'm not too worried.

Hope you are all well - I'm going to get a lemon and ginger tea.

OP posts:
Maisiemog · 14/06/2005 13:33

Yep, backwards is the new forwards.
Hope your sicky feelings have subsided Hotmama.
All the rain is over Scotland. Drip drip!!

Slave2Babe · 14/06/2005 13:33

Has anyone else got a DD or a DS that seems obsessed with cables!!? DD is currently waving the cable for the webcam around excitedly and shouting "Ah Ah Ah" ...

Maisiemog · 14/06/2005 13:35

Oh and no teeth for Pog yet. A tiny little bump thing on his lower gum. His sitting is coming along a treat. He still shuns much brek and fills up at night instead?
Drinking lots of milk though.
And two or three poopy diapers a day.
