Just a quickie. Lots of screaming from ds at bedtime too, but he settled eventually.

Off to watch 1 episode of house and then go to bed - had another early start.

Off to a 1st b'day bbq tomorrow, and have realised that I've forgotten to get a present, so I guess that means a trip to the shops on the way or in the morning - bugger. Ideas for a small gift for a 1 yo boy anyone? Actually I think I'll look for a nice book .

Remind me to give mobile number to you rachie and Ekka - no time now!

CSWS - Books are always a good present.

Hmm - I'm feeling much better thanks. I do get tired in the afternoon so often have a little nap. Oh and I knew about the chocolate because I'm a woman and I know the healing power of chocolate! I sent DH out on a chocolate run when my stupid body decided to have a period on top of the op recovery.

Myjob- Now I have a mental image of J being swung happily into the cot which is making me laugh. Actually he is like a stereotypical boy and loves being chucked around so a leg and wing would go down a treat.

Ah, possibly. I normally get the back ache, sore nips and the huge grumps. You don't really suffer PMT or anything do you Myjob?

Myjob- you're welcome for the cheering up I was all achey in the lower ab yesterday, my periods turn up when they feel like it though so I never know until they arrive. I don't know synchronised periods and babies, do you think we should start going cold turkey on mn

Pistachio- Keep thinking about your boden dress as I had a peek at it and really want it too. Might have a look and see if I can still get it.

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/07/2009 22:57

hurrah - I have a book in my present box already - where the wild things are - so that will be his gift

My period didn't actually arrive yet, despite me thinking this morning that it had .

Night all.

Marthasmama · 24/07/2009 22:58

I told DH about the synchronised periods and playing up babies. He thinks we're witches.

Oooo good book CSWS. Having a present box is a very good idea. Might have to start one up.

Lol MM

I've started a present box now as I realised that I'll have 8 birthdays within a few weeks of each other with all of our NCT babies. So far it contains a Thomas puzzle and two board books. Need to get quite a lot more before Oct!

Have fun at the party CSWS, love that book too.

Marthasmama · 24/07/2009 23:09

Lovely new pictures on FB Rachie. Is J quite wee? He looks so dainty compared to my hefty lump of a girl! She is such a podge!
