Yeah, that's me MM. Yes I do stay the other side of the camera as much as possible CSWS. I don't really like that photo, my boobs look really weird cos of the angle I'm sitting at!

DH has ordered me not to come upstairs and "spend 3 hours on the internet" before I go to bed cos he knows how knackered I am, I've been on a keep in touch today, one of my friends at work joked that I should get pregnant again to avoid coming back! Ha ha ha ha...

I might leave the test, but I'm so impatient! If I say it's negative now how will you know I'm telling the truth??? Night all!

RachieW · 31/07/2009 22:22

MM at the risk of sounding a bit like a stalker I've looked at your fb pics before and you are really really pretty, so no more of this too hideous for cameras malarky.

I have just tried on both of the dresses I was going to wear to the wedding and am too fat for one and my scabby knees (eczema/psorasis- too lazy to make a dr appt and find out) are revealed too much in the other. Am opting for trousers and top which thank god I decided to buy in the Next sale otherwise I'd have nothing to wear.

Marthasmama · 31/07/2009 22:28

Because we trust you Hmm. And you know we'll all be very annoyed if you did lie to us.

Thank you Rachie but most of those pictures are old and I look terrible these days. I'm sure you'll look lovely in whatever you wear to the wedding. You could always ask a pharmacist what the skin issue is. They would probably be able to tell you and make a recommendation for treatment.

I've got a horrible cold suddenly, M is all snotty too. It's definitely not the dreaded lurgy as I feel fine except the runny nose. How annoying.

Oh and DS had a call from his girlfriend today. She apparently got hold of her daddy's phone and called DH to speak to ds. She is a very cheeky young lady. DS was over the moon about it as he's not seen her in ages. The wedding is now back on apparently. Bless 'em.

Hmm - Now we don't know if you're playing or not. If you're not playing it might be too early still, like the birthday girl suggested.

The picnic was nice thank you Myjob. M wouldn't lie down for baby yoga but she played nicely with some other babies. We won't know about the competition until October but the photographer thought M was wonderful. M was apparently a natural and seemed to really really enjoy herself. Maybe a good way to solve my money woes, get that girl modelling ...... mwhahahahahahaha!

Jenwa - My head aches are in my eye area, so the bridge of my nose, my eye sockets and forehead. Go to the optician to have them checked out. If it is a lazy eye, then glasses can correct it by strengthening the muscles in your eye.

I'm looking forward to bedtime too today. M is in a bad mood because she's tired and DS is being a spoilt little so and so this afternoon. Roll on 7.30!

I am still feeding M at night but not as frequently. It's now down to once or twice a night, since M was about 8.5 months. It would seem she is still hungry at those times too, rather than just comfort suckling.

I'm watching Wall E with ds. It's a grim view of the future and quite depressing viewing as a adult. DS is enjoying it though. Has anyone watched it?

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/08/2009 19:14

I have no idea when we're even doing bedtime here, as ds was up at 5:59, only slept for 30 mins this morning, and then crashed out in car from 4:15-5:45, and dd also slept in car for most of that - eek! Dd appears to be sickening for a cough/cold, but hope it's only minor, as we're supposed to be swimming in the morning.

Went out for meze for lunch (good for dairy free), and ds ate loads, whilst dd stuck with just pitta bread, cucumber and a few chips . Family at the next table with a baby the same age were impressed with ds' eating skills! I'm still full from lunch now, so will just have a boiled egg or some leftover chinese from last night later once the dc are in bed.

I came on here to see HMM's results.... where is she??

We went back to Godstone, today. DH much better mood and talked more... it's getting a bit better. We went in the toddler area of the playbarn and Q LOVED crawling through the tunnels and up and down the ramps... and somehow we missed this huge sandpit. Q LOVES dirt. We put him in the centre of this enormous sandpit and he was SO excited! It was hilarious! He also chased a bunny around the bunny pen (on hands and knees) and had a goat so tightly gripped by his horn that he found it difficult to get away he slept so hard afterward.

There's a pic on fb - all blurry blackberry photos of course as too lazy to download from camera right now - but he stood up on his own, for about a minute, then lowered himself down (photo) and then realized he was alone and collapsed onto his knees. I think he could walk if he had the confidence. He'll do it holding a finger with one or two hands and can cruise furniture with just one hand, not sure what's holding him back. I didn't want him to walk before, but now I think it would be actually a bit easier if he could just do it himself.
