CSWS, Star & Ekka- think weather is supposed to be better than predicted. There is an indoor soft play barn with a cafe bit so we could take cover there. Would still really like to meet up too! Star I'll send my mob no to you through fb. Shall we just call each other when we are there?

Jenwa- Sorry to hear about your horrible exp with that wierd man and about the anti-depressants. Hopefully they will help and you will feel happier soon. You've had loads on your plate recently so I'm not surprised you are feeling fed up of it all.

Myjob- Sorry you are too. I hope things got better since your last post.

I think there might be something in the air. Dh is feeling very miserable, we had a big row on saturday over stupid things. He says he is fed up of us rowing, as am I, but that he feels numb Am torn between feeling pissed off with him as I think we can make things better if we just try harder to be nicer and less snappy and being really sad that I've driven him to being so miserable. It's been really hard since J was born but I expected it would be as having a baby is life changing but I think he's been shocked by it all. I don't really know how to make things better, am trying very hard to be less snappy. Cos my brother has been here we've been ok so I thought we were but he's obviously been brooding over it. He's putting J to bed now so will see what happens when he comes down. Life isn't easy is it

star6 · 29/07/2009 20:13

csws - could you fwd my mobile number to ekka if you have hers? I'll text mine to rachie when she gives me hers on fb... taht way we can all contact one another. I'll let you know when I'm there. I've never been, so no clue where to meet up - perhaps the entry?

ekka - you are apparently already a customer of rainbow babies . The only way that I would be able to recommend you again, and thus get you discount, is if you have another email address that I can register you under (I used the one on your fb account). Send me a message on fb if you do. Worth setting up a gmail account for it if necessary, esp if you want to order a decent amount of stuff. I always try to order £60 at a time as then delivery is free.

Phew re weather forecast improving for tomorrow - was thinking it could be a bit of a miserable day if it was raining the whole time.

star6 · 29/07/2009 20:20

Sorry to hear that, Rachie. I hope things are better and you're able to talk a bit with DH.
Similar situation here. Had another big argument today. DH never wants to talk through anything but then makes sweeping statements like "I'm so sick of you constantly complaining abou t me. it's all you ever do" (which isn't true) but then when I want to talk he'll say "there's nothing to talk about". That doesn't help a relationship... and I refuse to allow Q to see his dad speak to his mom the way that he does sometimes.

star6 · 29/07/2009 20:24

thanks for summary csws on fb.
just had a look at godstone website - looks like SO much more fun than horton park farm! Excited to go and meet you all

Well it sounds like you're prob sickening for something then pistachio.

I have NO idea what my body is doing period wise. I've been bleeding for a few days now, more than spotting but not proper period bleeding - enough to need a pantyliner but def not enough to dust off my mooncup! No idea what it is .

star6 · 29/07/2009 20:42

I think that's true pistachio

Is our postnatal thread going to always have the same stats at the top? Can we take off the part about the labour/birth and just put other stats? Every time I open this page and at the top it says "36 hour labour, ventouse and stitches" I cringe and feel a little sick.

star6 · 29/07/2009 20:57

I can't believe I just posted that. I'm sorry. I don't mean to offend the starters of the threads... not at all! sorry!

What if we just change mine to "difficult birth but the end result was more than worth it" ?

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/07/2009 21:01

Yeah star. I obv would have taken them off if I'd started this thread, but you just can't get the minions to toe the line these days ;).

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/07/2009 21:02

Oh I hate it when emoticons don't work - doh!

star6 · 29/07/2009 21:04

lol at getting the minions to toe the line!

RachieW · 29/07/2009 21:04

Thanks guys, Pistachio think you are right about the honeymoon period. Star am getting concerned that our dh's were separated at birth!

Right am going to log off now as I think I should spend sometime with dh. Am confident all will be well, just both need to make the effort. Even though he drives me crazy some days I hate to make him sad.

Have just replied to fb messages for tomorrow. See you tomorrow!

MM- Enjoy Bluewater
