Ah this is what you're bidding on isn't it? Don't be shy, you can tell us.

OP posts:
star6 · 28/07/2009 19:56

LOL MM!!!

star6 · 28/07/2009 19:56

wait... sorry... if that is what you're bidding on, it's very cute

RachieW · 28/07/2009 20:00

Lol MM- are you really bidding on that Myjob ?

Can't keep up today. Been to Leeds Castle with J and my brother, have got very sunburnt . As it was so cloudy I just didn't think about cream for me, ds was covered in factor 50 though thankfully. My other bro is over now too so we're all about to have dinner.

Jenwa- Thanks for letting me into the pics on your facebook- so cute and I want your legs!! Mine are like tree trunks.

CWSW- Thanks for your fb message, I've sent you a message back with my mob no. Just checked the weather forecast for Thurs and it's heavy rain

Marthasmama · 28/07/2009 20:03

Star - Now that would be funny. Somehow I doubt it though. Oh NOOOOO! I just showed DH and thought it was funny and that M would look cute in it. Eeeeek!

OP posts:
star6 · 28/07/2009 20:09

you're bidding, aren't you, MM?

Marthasmama · 28/07/2009 20:12

Good Lord no! I am NOT a fan of Starwars and nor is DH so his comment is very . I'd never put my poor baby in that outfit. I would have no problem dressing her up as a pumpkin for Halloween though. [double standards]

OP posts:
Marthasmama · 28/07/2009 20:16

So, did you win? Show us pictures woman!

OP posts:
star6 · 28/07/2009 20:19

MM you're going to be really sorry if myjob actually is bidding on that now, aren't you??

star6 · 28/07/2009 20:20

You really are a shopaholic, aren't you MM? lol. You're too funny!

star6 · 28/07/2009 20:21

rachie - is there an indoor play part at godstone?

Marthasmama · 28/07/2009 20:23

Yes Star. I'm terrible. I'm really broke and it almost physically hurts that I can't shop. I think I might need professional help! I only spend money on others though. That helps me justify my vulgar obsession.

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/07/2009 20:31

Myjob -including what we've already bought, he will have the trousers in red, kiwi green, orange, grey, dark brown, turquoise and army green, long sleeved bodysuits in mysterious petrol, aubergine, yellow ocher, army green, grey marl and sandbox, short sleeved bodysuits in yellow ocher and navy blue, baseball shirts in dark brown with turquoise sleeves and army green with orange sleeves, and t-shirts in canary yellow and leaf green!

Yay for teeth star. I'm assuming that ds has more on the way too, as we've had multiple feeds/medicine the last couple of nights again, combined with dd being a complete pain in the arse about going to bed/getting up at a sensible time. We just cannot seem to get through to her that 6am (or earlier) is not time to get up, and that she needs to stay in her room until her shutters open at 7 (they're on a timer).

Table dilemma is that we have a big oval dining table that was in our dining room, but we turned that into a playroom last year, and the table is now in the breakfast room. I want the b'fast room to be more of a family room, with a sofa and smaller dining table, so that the kids have some space to play and can relax and watch the little TV in there whilst I'm cooking etc (archway into kitchen). So first dilemma is what to do with the existing table/chairs. Is fairly expensive oak table, so don't really want to just ditch it, but putting it into storage is seemingly going to cost around £1k per year , which doesn't seem worth it. There doesn't seem to be any way of selling good solid tables for any more than an absolute pittance , so we are stumped as to what to do with it.
Second dilemma, assuming we get rid of existing table somehow, is which new table to get. We saw 2 today that we like. One is a rectangular wooden table, that has 2 extension pieces so we can make it bigger when we have guests. The other is a circular table, that has a very clever extension system so that it extends with 3 rectangles that come out from the centre to make it still almost circular! It appeals to the gadget freaks in us! But it's just over twice the price of the rectangular table, and without actually having it here in the room to try out, it's hard to work out whether it will give us more or less space than the other one. And the sale on it ends on Saturday, so we have to be quick if we do want that one, or it will cost us even more.
And I've told dh that I'm not buying either until we've at least checked out what ikea have to offer, so we'll hopefully go there on Friday morning, as we're going to visit friends who are in the same direction anyway.
I did say that it was rather boring!

Their website says that there is an indoor play area and undercover sandpits, but if you guys want to postpone until a later sunny day then I don't mind, esp as it might mean that dd will get to come too.

Have been trying to post this message for ages now. My last post was obviously so boring that it's broken the thread.

Marthasmama · 28/07/2009 20:48

You see Myjob, I don't believe you as that outfit was 6-12 months and you said 9-12 months so ner. Plus I think that outfit went without a single bid.....
