Ha ha Myjob - I got M that Secret Garden skirt and she has the dress (with matching hat and shoes) in 6-12 months. In my delivery for M were the following:

this

these

these in the aqua and the brown.

Now if I had more cash I would attack the new Monsoon stuff. Lots of lovely bright red, would look sooo good on brunette M.

Oh, and the muscle is not too bad if I don't move, which is hard when M keeps bashing herself in the face with things and only a mummy cuddle will do. Poor little lady is really tired today.

oh myjob poor little man

Marthasmama · 28/07/2009 14:49

Oh I never saw your post there Myjob. Poor ds. I think a big mummy cuddle and a discussion about his birthday and whether he would like a tape player for his birthday. Could put the tape on another tape player for him to listen to?

Awww bless him. We've just given DS's tape player away. Could you not ask someone else to get him a tape player for his birthday?

Is DH likely to be able to fix it? I know what you mean about toys. Children seem to develop such an emotional attachment to toys. I remember my brother being heart broken when his tricycle broke. It got put down behind the shed until my mum could take it to the dump. My brother was worried the tricycle would be lonely so sat behind the shed reading a book to it. He even put a scarf on it.
N seems to have your immune system Myjob! M is grumpy as hell today, I think it's her teeth. I wonder if she will ever get any.

What a clever man myjob. Dh can superglue bits of dolls house furniture back together, but that's roughly where his mr fix it skills end.

I adore those aqua bloomers mm!

I've ordered a load more rainbows babies stuff for ds, in an array of lovely bright colours. Am going to mix and match him til he looks like a rainbow himself!

We're in the midst of a dining table dilemma at present. I might bore you with the details later.

goodness, difficult to catch up!
Glad dh fixed the toy myjob and I hope you get the dress!!

Q hs been going to bed really well at 7pm every night. He slept through until 5am 2 nights in a row (through teething!!!! ).
Q is cutting his top two teeth today . I saw the first blood from the first cut through. the whites are showing now... I hope they're out by tomorrow. calprofen and teething gel and he's off to sleep with no crying tonight.
This is totally amazing and wish I did it months ago... I don't know why people are so against this method on the sleep thread. He'll NEVER remember those 3 nights and he's totally secure and knows I'm always there and can now sleep!!!
I just follow the routine, then put him in bed and he goes to sleep. Sometimes a few min of crying but usually not. I can go out in the evening if I want... I can do stuff after he goes to bed... when i start teaching again after summer holiday I know I won't want to, but it's nice for now

Marthasmama · 28/07/2009 19:51

So are you winning Myjob?
