bloddy hell pesha

so moving down caz?

StealthPolarBear · 12/08/2009 13:10

oh no pesha! Does anyone else have a credit card you can charge it to? Not that you should have to as it's obviously their mistake!

Pesha · 12/08/2009 14:11

Spb - we tried that but they would have to be here with us and hire car in their name. Have now managed to get them to agree to fly us home, just waiting for a call to confirm when but prob be fri or sat. Feeling a lot happier now!! Is going to cost them a fortune in peak season with all our luggage but serves them right for cocking us about so much!!! [evil chuckle]

StealthPolarBear · 12/08/2009 14:13

that's a relief!
Does it matter that you're getting home a few days late?

cazboldy · 12/08/2009 16:38

any cows nearby Oooggs?

Pesha · 12/08/2009 16:40

Well dp wants to be home to play football Saturday whereas I'd rather have the extra day in France! The only thing we need to be home for is nathan's birthday party on Sunday at 4pm, was planning on making a football cake for him, I've bought a special tin already, but will prob just end up buying one now! Would be a bit of a disaster if we can't make that as I don't have phone numbers for half the children coming to let them know!
Had a phone call a while ago saying there was a flight Friday afternoon to Luton but I pointed out this was some way from somerset and we'd have no way of getting home so they are looking into alternatives!

How are things with you?

StealthPolarBear · 12/08/2009 17:57

was very puzzled there as my eye's read nathan but substituted dylan!
Hope you're home for Sunday ... sounds like you should be!
Everything's fine with me thanks. Dylan is our first choice of boy's names for bump btw and T loves it as it's also the name of his best friend at nursery

StealthPolarBear · 12/08/2009 17:58

Pregnancy grammar

cazboldy · 12/08/2009 18:17

oh thats lovely spb. I liked Dylan for Charlie, but my friend had her baby 3 months before he was born and named him it!

Good Luck with that pesha!

oooggs · 12/08/2009 20:48

Not many cows!!!

pesha - at least with you stuck in France you have time to chat to us

katy - do you know you are having a boy?

oooggs · 12/08/2009 20:49

I'm Christmas shopping

I will be on nil pay in December so sorting it out for the children now (well the youngest 3, have no idea for James)

Pesha · 12/08/2009 21:20

Lol oooggs yes, it is nice to have so much time and not have to worry about cooking and housework! Altho I do have blisters on my knuckles from handwashing z load of clothes in the sink this morning!

Christmas shopping is very organised, I am impressed!

SPB - Dylan is a fab name! Have to say it took me a while to get used to it but can't imagine him being anything else now. Although he is still squish on occassion!! I cannot remember when you are due, it seems so long since I posted I have lost track!

cazboldy · 12/08/2009 22:24

I have bought 1 thing already oooggs and have ideas for more - I need to spread the cost a bit

elkiedee · 13/08/2009 09:45

oooggs, sounds like a good plan if you still have some money left now.

StealthPolarBear · 13/08/2009 09:53

Oh I had forgotten Squish! Was quite disappointed that you decided to give him a real name after all
No, no idea, although I feel it's going to be another boy. If he turns out to be a girl, she will be Alice.

oooggs · 13/08/2009 12:44

no I don't have any money now!!!! Just selling some stuff to make some money. Got a fab deal on a doll set at Tesco here

runnyhabbit · 13/08/2009 18:43

Evening all

Well, our first family camping trip was a fab success So much so, that as soon as we came home, dh bought our own tent off the net Really got into the camping way of life. As soon as the tent went up, J kept asking us if we were really camping now

Am shattered now though - will catch up properly soon x

cazboldy · 13/08/2009 21:26

Runny glad the camping went well!

Went shopping yesterday, and my Mum bought me that dress as an early birthday present as I've got 2 weddings to go to in September, and after sorting out everyone else, was going to have to wear something out of the wardrobe, but thanks to Mum i don't!
