June 2007 They're (almost all) two which makes them hard work in a whole new range of ways. But just as adorable!

Unable to sleep thought I'd see what had been going on and saw we were due a new thread. Hope this is OK?

enjoy costco fury....I love that place.

HellHathNoFury · 12/07/2009 09:29

Daisy DS does the same thing too.

one day he can be crystal clear, another day he just lazily slurs everything together and we don't understand him.

Call me cruel but I know he knows how to talk so when he deviates and slurs/whines I just ignore everything he says until he decides to talk normally again.

My point is... I think it's normal!

Rialentless · 12/07/2009 09:34

DS2 does that, damned annoying!

taught DS1 to make eggy bread, and painted pots with DS2. can I go back to bedc now please?

LackaDAISYcal · 12/07/2009 09:47

phew....was worrying about strange degenerative illnesses

blooming heck ria, that's industrious for half nine on a Sunday.

We are off out for the day; I'm going stir crazy and getting annoyed at DH who, when I suggested a picnic, decided the local park (2 mins away) would be better . This is the man who thought a nice break for me yesterday would be a trip to the supermarket

We are going further afield!!

Rialentless · 12/07/2009 10:07

Hope you have a nice time daisy - how about Lotherton Hall?

DH has taken to bed here, so I predict a boring day.

DS1 is meant to be tidying his room and finding his prescription sunglasses for the school trip, but he is actually rocking on the gaming chair (£3 in a charity shop!) glued to cbeebies

DS2 is driving me mad making stupid noises and asking if the paint is dry yet.

obviously if anything is going to be achieved here today I'm going to have to rediscover my inner bitch.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 12/07/2009 10:10

Slurring normal here, I think they try to talk too fast and their little mouths can't keep up! It happens with ds when he tries to say more than 3 word sentences!

I love Chris Corcoran, possibly even more than Paul from Tikkabilla and the same amount as Andy Big Fun Time! I watch too much CBeebies!

I bought this from the Boots clearance section for £25! I am chuffed because Sylvanian Families stuff is never reduced, ever. It's like Lego. Plus it is sold out nearly everywhere, so looks like it'll be one of the collectors' ones. I might give it to dd for Christmas, then again I might keep it in the box in the loft and watch the value grow!

Have a nice day daisy. Dp is playing golf, so I am going to watch the Grand Prix and then take the kids to the railway bridge to watch trains and pick blackberries and then to Waitrose for reduced fruit to make some jam (jammy you've inspired me)!

HellHathNoFury · 12/07/2009 10:16

you guys are so industrious.

My day will consist of:
laundry
buying bulk buy crap from Costco (I love it there, dammit)
cleaning up after a BBQ
being lazy

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 12/07/2009 11:13

glad tittage is less sore Daisy.

Well I took Jamlet swimming this morning Other than that lots of laundry to do today, and nagging of DH to mow the grass

LittleMissNorty · 12/07/2009 11:28

All I've done is fed children, put them back to bed for naps, cleaned the bathroom and polished off a huge bacon buttie in french bread .

Off to but fish for the aquarium this afternoon

Rialentless · 12/07/2009 14:38

yum norty.

I went back to bed with snuffly baggins.

have since bathed and hair-washed 2/3 kids, done laundry, eaten ham & mozarella toastie.

DH has played chess on the PC, and is now playing wii

will have to address the division of housework, but without causing a row

HellHathNoFury · 12/07/2009 15:07

Oops!
Just spent £250 on frozen food for the chest freezer

But now, it's good to know that should WWIII happen anytime soon, I have stockpiled.

Rialentless · 12/07/2009 16:39

fury and . tis good be organised. Does your home insurance cover freezer breakdown?

Rialentless · 12/07/2009 16:54

BTW, my PC appears to be ill, so if I go AWOL that's why!

HellHathNoFury · 12/07/2009 17:58

yes home insurance does. Probably not to the full amount, but close enough. I don't remember.

Besides, with an appetite like my lot, chances are it won't actually stay full and at a value of £250 for very long at all

TheNatty · 12/07/2009 19:22

fury @ freezer, i dont think i could fit that much in my freezer!

know what u mean about housework ria, i am still doing it all DH loaded the dishwasher today. thats all..

crap day
one boob is bleeding too much to feed from now as making him throw up every time i try. so expressing to keep supply up (which is gentler and i can use it to feed him with as doesnt make the crack bleed)
good news is my bargain boots pump is excellent and i got 2oz out in 20mins, not bad considering its early days, and with ellen i couldnt get anything out.

feed kids family sized VALUE micro lasange for dinner

my stitches are really really sore, i think maybe they need cutting as they dont seem to be disolving.

thank god midwife is coming tomorrow!

HellHathNoFury · 12/07/2009 19:54

Natty that sounds pants, poor you.
Well done on expressing though.
BTW, there is no way on this earth that my normal freezer will accomodate that much food - we decided to buy a cheap chest freezer and fill it with wholesale food, as I have the IL's coming to stay for 6 weeks soon, and whilst this was expensive, when you are feeding a few it works out cheaper than going to tesco's twice a week.

Rialentless · 12/07/2009 21:08

bloody bloody bedtime

for you natty.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 12/07/2009 22:00

Sorry it's all crap for you Natty

TheNatty · 12/07/2009 22:11

its 6am and im pumping away! if you had asked me 5 years ago what i would be doing in a few years time at 6am...

munchkin has been feeding on and off the 'good' side all night, and the bad side was fit to bursting so had to get up and express it.

ellen was funny last night putting her to bed, she heard charlie whinging (hungry again) and put her hands on either side of her face and said
"oh no baby crying.. need to eat your boobie!"
bless her!

TheNatty · 13/07/2009 12:42

where are you all?

taking kids to park thats the exciting extent of my day.. need to stay near my pump lol

Sputnik · 13/07/2009 13:03

I'm here, just.
I had some kind of flu at the weekend with really high temperature, achiness but nothing else. Feeling better but wobbly.

Happy birthday to Foxy and JBM's DDs

TheNatty · 13/07/2009 13:15

happy birthday to LO's.. im awful at remembering birthdays, my mum has had her birthday forgotton 2 years running!

poor you sputnik glad to hear u are feeling better.

HellHathNoFury · 13/07/2009 13:21

hello!

I have been out to a local playgroup with DS and met some lovely mums who have invited me over for coffee and things and showed me where the best places are to hang out, and also a few heads up on the local schools!

Unfortunately I have an AN appt on the day of one of their meet ups but they said they have them all the time, like every week/2 weeks so that's cool.

I am also having a bit of a stress as I am now £1400 overdrawn thanks to vets bills and various other things. DH's birthday is on Sunday but we have decided to postpone it until we can afford it
