Hi all -
lbb - how are you doing with the not smoking? Hope you're finding it ok... Hope Luke's toe is ok. It's amazing how much they can bleed from a tiny cut isn't it?
Calico - we've got a graco basinette thing. Want to get a mattress for it as the one it has is not very comfy, but the ebay site that does made-to-measure one say they are not suitable for travel cots. Where are you getting yours from?
bumps - sorry you're going through a rough patch. John has Thursdays off, so if you want, next Thursday I can leave M with him and come round and entertain O and J for you, or maybe John and I can take the three of them to the park? Is O taking any ebm? Just let me know. Oh, and M still has gaviscon, so if you have some going, that would be handy - we always seem to run out on the day I go to pick up her precription. And Boots in the Chequers are being really bad atm. I was waiting over 2 hours the other day and they didn't even have it after all the wait .
Things are good here, T's mum had her baby on Wednesday. I had taken him round to see her after school and he was due to stay as he wasn't at school yesterday due to voting. It was our wedding anniversary, so my MIL picked M up at 2-ish and I had a bit of time to myself - - but when we got to hers she was having some niggles. I took the girls round to her neighbours while she phoned for an ambulance, and when I got back to the house, I could see the head! The paramedics arrived just then and did the business, but I held him straight away before the cord was cut - he was younger than M was when I first held her! He's very sweet, but looks much more 'baby'ish than M ever did - long alien head and squashed face...
Her neighbour has had T and the boys since, and is happy to have them until she gets home, and then her best friend is taking three weeks of work to go and stay with her. I think after that the her family and friends are going to try and set up a 'rota' so she gets some time off, and some 1-to-1 time with each of the kids.
I miss him being here, but I'm glad to get the house back!
Hope everyone is feeling ok and not missing the sun too much - it's really cold here today. I'm wearing two jumpers - yesterday I was in a vest!!!
