MJreturns · 10/06/2009 13:03

Dooby, hope you are ok xx

Sexonlegs · 10/06/2009 13:21

Dooby. Do you think you will try again?

Hope you are ok xx

MJ, pmsl at F weeing on the sofa

Oooggs, I wish I could help somehow; I really feel for you.

Brain dead now. Finding K a real challenge atm She is so clingy at times and I guess I am used to B being so independent from such a young age.

StealthPolarBear · 10/06/2009 13:39

oooggs
Did you look into nannies (I remember talking about it at the time but not what happened). Or are you not keen?
Dooby, so sorry you are not pg.
Just come home from work as i've been sick and been feeling urgh all day. Think it's the pasta salad I had for breakfast (don't ask!!) so hopefuly I'll be better once it's out of my system.

OP posts:
oooggs · 10/06/2009 14:18

nannies aren't really an option as what I would pay the nursery for 3 of them (2 of them over 3 and government funding) as well as my susidy it wouldn't be worth it and they would be trashing my house all day

dooby - hope you are ok

sol - would you take children via a courier service?

cazboldy · 10/06/2009 14:46

I will Oooggs xx - wish I lived closer, and I really would xx

Dooby - hope you are no feeling too down. xx

MJ - I's not so bad as you expect - Good luck xx

cazboldy · 10/06/2009 14:48

Oh and SPB hope you feel better later xx

SOL - Molly seems constantly glued to my leg - I am always tripping over her!

Off on school run and then to the dentist for all of the children

runnyhabbit · 10/06/2009 18:01

Caz - I don't find it that difficult pronouncing Welsh, it's just there are lot of masculine/feminine versions of the same thing. I'll let you know how difficult it really is in September

MJ - take some nurofen/paracetemol before you go. It's a bit like a smear - more uncomfortable than painful.

Well, my feeling about work was right - there are more redundancies Fortunately, I'm not one of them, but the woman I work with is She is such a stroppy cow, but having worked with her for the past few months, I can see why she acts like she does. Little support for the work we do, virtually no planning. She has said that I've eased the burden by organising our work, and now I actually like working with her. Thing is I think it looks like we have the least work, so one can go. But she's got way more experience than me, and projects will take me twice as long

Sorry for the whinge

What would I do without you

runnyhabbit · 10/06/2009 18:02

MJ - guess that advice was a bit late

SPB - hope you're feeling better

CaptainDippy · 11/06/2009 07:20

Right, gotta have shower etc, back later ....

Hope you can come up with a workable solution oooggs, childcare logistic such a PITA and I only have 3 xx

Sexonlegs · 11/06/2009 07:57

Morning ladies

Hugs to those who need them - quite a few in need atm by the looks of it. xx

OK here, although am like a space cadet atm; not concentrating properly at all etc.

Had a good night last though as went to a friends' Ann Summers Party! They had me trying on all sorts of outfits! Not the crotchless pants though I hasten to add

Have a lovely day lovelies. xx

Bramshott · 11/06/2009 09:30

Oh Dippy. Is there anyone who could take the girls so that you and DH could get away overnight? Seems like you need some time together, and I know your life is always so busy!

Hurray - the sun is shining!

StealthPolarBear · 11/06/2009 09:32

Hi everyone
Feel better thanks - definitely blame the pasta T is also lovely today and slept through the night which I really needed as I am exhausted
Oh no runny! Awful news about your colleague, and horrible for you that you'll now have loads more work.
Dippy - ((hugs)). Can you name change and ask for some advice in relationships? Or is there anyone in RL you can talk to? You've been down about this for ages
SOL, thanks for sharing your Ann Summers story - made me

CaptainDippy · 11/06/2009 11:08

I wish Bramshott

cazboldy · 11/06/2009 11:26

Is it just same old same old Dippy or is something wrong?

oooggs · 11/06/2009 12:29

My friend had her 20 weeks scan yesterday and the baby had died she has been started off this morning and has to go back on saturday

Getting the children she has hasn't been easy (one adopted and one natural after several miscarriages)

Things like this are so hard

geordieminx · 11/06/2009 12:39

oooh oooggs - thoughts and prayers to your friend and her family. You really dont think about things like that do you? You think once you get to 12 weeks you are "home and dry" as such.

How very sad

StealthPolarBear · 11/06/2009 12:49

oh that's awful

OP posts:
Bramshott · 11/06/2009 13:03

Oh dear Oooggs - how awful .

Dippy - sorry to hear that. Can you play hooky one day when they're in nursery / school and go to the beach and eat fish and chips?

cazboldy · 11/06/2009 13:07

Really sorry for your friend Oooggs xx

StealthPolarBear · 11/06/2009 13:18

Friends of DH's lost their baby at 20 weeks (I think they terminated because the baby had a terminal condition). It was so awful, and I felt really hormonal at the time as T was 6 months old. Can't imagine what it must be like.

OP posts:
Sexonlegs · 11/06/2009 14:05

Oooggs, how devastating
My thoughts are with your friend and her family.

Dippy, I don't know what to advise Hope you are ok. xx

SPB, glad you are feeling better and had a good night.

Runny, sorry about the work situation; this recession is a bugger.

GM, how are you? Have you had any results yet?

CaptainDippy · 11/06/2009 20:15

So sad oooggs Thoughts and prayers for your friend, her DP/DH and her family. xx
