M loves his pushchair...unless he is in a supermarket or tricky place where there are lots of things to grab!
Glad all seems relatively ok with people.
Elkie if it is your 40th tomorrow...HAPPY BIRTHDAY[in case I don't get on]
You must tell me if you get the vapours and have the need of smelling salts
I can't believe I will be 40...just because I don't feel as grown up as I shouldbut feel better in lots of other ways.
M calls helicopters hellycobobbles...he loves them and planes and we are very near red arrow training place and RAF Waddington and they are practising for airshowand fly over our house.

CaptainDippy · 29/06/2009 18:59

LOl @ M Dooby 40 - wow!

Think PA does have a couple of weeks to go at work before she joins us more often

Right, lots to do .....

oooggs · 29/06/2009 20:00

E&J hardly ever use the pushchair, infact can't remember when they last did

Even if they weren't walking I can no longer push the triple, long trips is either the car or when I get it set up, the double & buggy board.

It is hard though cos if they both decide they are tired I have had it!!!!

hi everyone - too tired for personals today even though L slept well last night (on his tummy )

Sexonlegs · 29/06/2009 20:27

Evening all

Hope you are all tickety boo. I am watching the Murray match - bit edge of seat.

Dooby, what are up to then for your 40th? And more importantly, what are you getting??

SPB, glad you had such a good night with T. Long may it last; you must be shattered my lovely.

NL, hope you had a productive kicking-arse type day Honestly!

Luce, how did your first day go??

All ok here. Had a lovely picnic with Mum and Dad; K again was just lovely with my Mum

Dh away tonight; looking forward to having the bed to myself - too hot for sharing!!

Northernlurker · 29/06/2009 20:37

Arses well and truly kicked. Rep for arses summoned to see me next week when he can produce apology for crapness. Have also prsented him with bill for costs incurred due to company being arses and needing kicking! Sainted other company produced goods in timely fashion without needing any arse kicking

Dd1 had her play tonight at school - so that was nice. I especially enjoyed watching 3/4 of it from the back with a hot and squirming B in my arms - who wanted to a) see dd1 or b) go home noooooooow!

B is still happy in the pushchair but it doesn't get used all that much anymore.

Both girls had their school reports tonight - am proud to boast say that they are both fantastic - reports and girls so no arse kicking needed on the home front at least! Dh away and I found a tenner in my purse I'd forgotten about so I'm going to have pizza in a second

Happy birthday Elkie and Dooby (though I'm not totally clear on when the day is/was?)

Sol - I know what you mean about being happy to have the bed to yourself!

cazboldy · 29/06/2009 21:19

Hello all

Well done to your girls NL

Harry and Caitlin are in a school play tomorrow - Joseph and his technicolour dreamcoat - am quite looking forward to it!

Molly HATES the buggy with a passion and will only go in it if she is dead on her feet!

We had a lovely party yesterday round a friends, and they had a pool in their garden which was fab! and we had a barbecue, and I made a banoffee pie and a strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake yum!

Really busy getting ready for the Norfolk show this weds and thurs - James is there with my brother already and we will be taking the cow up tomorrow morning.

The extension is just about finished - electrician coming on Friday, plumber Monday, painTer on weds and carpets/flooring on thursday, furniture on Friday, so come Next weekend James should be in there

No word from school yet - James isn't there all week, and he had an inset on Thursday, but I will ring on Friday and see what has happened.

Happy birthday to Elkie and Dooby - also glad your ds1 is sorting out his bullies - and I don't blame him for not accepting their apologies!

SPB - had to chuckle a your description of the poo incident

Molly has been dry and in knickers all day today, and had a dry nappy last night, but will have to go in nappies for the next few days, which is a shame - I may try pull ups, but confess that they are something I never used with any of the others.....

Hope work is going well Luce - You are very brave/ mad or possibly both!

MJ - hope you got the car sorted

Did the nose ring hurt Dippy? made my eyes water just thinking about it!

Am very envious of all you who went to see Take That

Hello to anyone I missed out - God knows when I will be back! xxx

elkiedee · 29/06/2009 21:28

I turn 40 tomorrow, but as I said, I was born at 11 pm so still have just over 24 hours of being in my 30s to go (!), Dooby on Thursday.

We're at my mum's house, little brother hopes to make it by again for lunch tomorrow, we'll probably take D swimming at the Lido if weather is as hot as threatened! And one of my cousins is coming on her way home from Northumberland (she actually lives in London, 2 miles from me at most and we have seen more of her in the last couple of years, she came to a bit of D's 2nd birthday picnic). I'm still hoping to have a belated London celebration but not quite sure when, perhaps in August!

elkiedee · 29/06/2009 21:33

Caz, hope the Norfolk Show goes well for you all.

TheAbsentSoonToBeUnemployed · 29/06/2009 21:50

Thought this name was more apt
less than 3 weeks to go now.... (although as no decision has been made about how to replace me, let alone anything done about it, I may be getting excited too early!)

StealthPolarBear · 30/06/2009 08:25

Happy Birthday elkie
Hi everyone, nice to see you Absent!

ScarletBandit · 30/06/2009 11:50

Happy Birthday Elkie!

Good to see you absent one

Not much happening here. Car is in the garage getting fixed so I have a little courtesy car. I feel like I am driving a dodgem car because I am so used to my big Mondeo! Ds loves the little one and said it is the best car in the world!! That it may be, but it is pants going up any sort of incline which I am not used to at all

Sexonlegs · 30/06/2009 13:52

Happy Birthday Elkie!!!!

Hope you are having a great day and have been spoilt rotten

Btw, the school trip was here Maybe a venue for aposs S/W meet up in summer hols?

SB - def have to arrange something for the hols. Am trying to cram in extra hours now, so I can take as flexi during the seven weeks J is off

Off to bed
x

ScarletBandit · 01/07/2009 08:48

Looks like a good place Runny, did you enjoy it?! Poor little J, hope he feels much better soon xx

Off now to take ds to the GP. He is well, but has a veruca on his foot. I have treated it for over a month with stuff that the pharmacist recommended but it is getting worse not better. Want to get some advice, because I don't see the point in continuing to put this gel on that isn't doing a damn thing! If anything the veruca is bigger now than it was in the beginning.

And apologies for the foot talk if you are eating your breakfast!

Doobydoo · 01/07/2009 09:43

Hope you had good birthday Elkie?

Good to see you Soon to be unemployed...hope you all ok.

Runny..sorry about J..iT is very hard trying to locate what is wrong with them sometimes..so hope you aren't being hard on yourself.
Caz how are things with you all?You are busy I expect!
Luce..so pleased things are goinf well.
Hi sol,Dippy and all...how are you all?
NL..You are so eloquent...your arse post really made me
ds1 off school today...hayfever and knackerdness...he got called a lesbian at school the other day as he has longish hair.
Things seem to be getting better for him at school. Some of the kids seem to say other inappropriate things that make me as they are only 9 or 10.Ds1 says that some of the boys play Grandtheft auto and other disgusting games.
If he dosen't go to grammar we will home ed or if the money from my grandad has arrived we will put that towards private ed.
Back to docs end of week to see if M needs ENT referral.
Have good day laydees.xx

Bramshott · 01/07/2009 09:59

Hello everyone. Busy here and working all last weekend.

Happy Birthday Dooby & Elkie!!

Caz - hoping J had a fab time at the show and has forgotten all about school horridness.

Runny - sorry to hear about J tonsilitis. My childminder's son has just had that, and seemed to bounce back fairly quickly. O didn't catch it (can you even catch it??) - phew!

O is NOT impressed with the heat and finding it very difficult to sleep '

N is coasting down towards the end of term and veering between relaxed and happy and exhausted and tearful (usually depending on whether things are going her way!).

Hello to everyone else I've missed.

ScarletBandit · 01/07/2009 14:33

Bramshott, ds is a bit like that too. He is always at either end of the emotional scale just now!! He is literally counting down the days until school finishes for the summer

CaptainDippy · 02/07/2009 10:57

Bit late, but Happy 40th Birthdays to both Elkie and Dooby Hope you both had fabby days!!

Good to "see" you Absent - looking forward to seeing you more!!

Feeling like life is going at 100 mph atm ....

It's "our" Birthday soon SOL

Bramshott · 02/07/2009 13:49
