Can you tell I never made it to Bristol . DD woke from her nap at 9.50 and I was all set to feed her and throw her in the car. I fed her for about 2 mins and she trew it all back up. So I left it thinking she had just brought up a burp and the milk on top of it, when she was sick again, and again and again and again poor little lamb is lying on my lap staring mindlessly into space. We now have no clean babygros, vests or towels - the washing machine is running on overtime.

DH decided to go to work when DD was sick the first time

Miamla · 22/05/2009 16:53

its really freaky, noticed this before that when ann arrives back home (ie on here) cyteen is never too far behind her. I have my suspicions that you are in fact one person despite having met you both

alittlebitshy · 22/05/2009 16:54

lol miamla. Yes dd was pointing at the bus saying "I saw miamla". "where" said i, "on the bus" said she "miamla miamla" said i. "Yes mummy" said she. Then i got your text so, er yes, I wasn't freaked out by the pyschic stuff!!

pertelote. lol .

oops. you or dd? oh dear!

alittlebitshy · 22/05/2009 16:56

oops cross posted there. poor little baby
didn't you miss Bristol last time due to illness of someone?

oopsacoconut · 22/05/2009 17:00

Yes - I last time it was DH! I think they are trying to stop me meeting new people! If there is a London I might sneak it in without telling either of them before!

Miamla · 22/05/2009 17:04

oh no, poor miniOoops
i hope she's feeling alot better soon

Miamla · 22/05/2009 17:08

right, lets get a London meetup sorted!

i think i'm right in thinking that steaky is around next week so.. Monday's bank holiday but other than that, with a bit of jiggling i can do most days so place your vote for either

Tuesday 26th

Wednesday 27th

Thursday 28th

Friday 29th

GO GO GO Us londoners can't let the bristolers have all the fun!

AnnVan · 22/05/2009 17:16

Excellent Miamla the wednesday isn't great for me, as I have a driving lesson booked, but I can do the other days!

Oops your poor DD. Her timing was amazing though Seb had a tummy bug a couple of weeks ago, resulting in bright yellow liquid poo (bleugh) Hope to see you in London though?

Miamla I have also noticed that cyteen and I always turn up on the same threads. I thinks she's stalking me

oopsacoconut · 22/05/2009 17:25

Okay, now I'm a little bit freaked! I had my thyriod bloods taken yesterday and was told that it would be 7 days until we got results. The GP has just rung to say they need to see me on Tuesday, when I said I was out on Tuesday they said it wasn't an option as they need to see me urgently. My thyroid levels are very badly out of range.

Poor little oopsababy and poor you, oops, for having to miss out again. The puking is never fun, and they always look so sad afterwards, all glazed and blah.

Re. breastfeeding, Joe is still on four feeds a day despite being a total gannet for solid food. He currently has milk on waking, at 11ish, 3ish and then at bedtime, and I always end up feeding him back to sleep at least once during the night as I am massively lazy I know he doesn't need this much so am currently trying to stop the night feeds, after which I'll probably try and drop the 3pm feed. His schedule at home is all different to how it will be at nursery anyway so not sure how I'm going to square all that

alittlebitshy · 22/05/2009 18:51

H is on at least 5 feeds a day, mostly 6, occasionally more .

It's half term next week... That means some of us will have big kids/be snowed under and that places will be busy......

DP not home from work yet, and Sebastian is fast asleep He's NEVER asleep this early usually.
Bit bored, as I've got stuck on my xbox game. What should I do? (nobody mention the washing up though)

Oops hope you're feeling ok.

oopsacoconut · 22/05/2009 20:12

Hi glad the meet went well.
oops what a day poor little one. I hope she is feeling a little better.
Please step away from Google. It drove me crazy. Hope the appointment goes well and they can sort things out for you.
Hey ann well done on the driving.
and well done on the sleep miamla that is amazing. What a shame you didnt get the long stretch though.
I am lucky to get a stretch of 3 hours here still at the moment.

Have had a good day today after a few shit ones weeks. I have been to look at a couple of horses for my sister today and found her a smasher. was beautiful to ride and fantastic with the kids. I managed to negotiate a good deal and got the tack thrown in and free delivery my sister is very happy.

Off to look at places in sheffield suitable for meet up.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/05/2009 20:21

sazzles that is exactly what I thought. Bit thoughtless to let someone worry over the long weekend.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/05/2009 20:23

Oh could I also ask a few question s about next stage car seat too. Anyone recommend one.
DD has maxi cosi tobi and someone said she is possibly too big for it, but I am concerned she is far too young to have one with the proper seatbelt. There is no way she will keep that on.
Not sure to get one for ds or let him have hers and get her new one.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/05/2009 20:25

miamla you have mail

oopsacoconut · 22/05/2009 20:44

No1 - She should be in a 5 point harness until she is 18kgs. She is too little and too light to activate the proper seatbelt 'lock/stop' when she hits it suddenly. She is only 2.5 isn't she? far too young for anything next stage up.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 22/05/2009 20:51

oops I went to a car seat place yesterday and they thought she was over 3. (was 2 in feb) they told me not she looks like she needs next stage (i was horrified)
and that I need to weigh her.
I am asking here as I didnt believe her. Thanks.
