Hi all, hope everyone ok and flu-free!
M2Leah - what SK said above! How old is she - could she in her own little way be worried / scared, especially with the birth approaching, picking up on your anxiety, separation anxiety too??
Could you try sitting in the room, not paying her any attention just being there for reassurance then grad withdrawing - may be less physically exhausting for you.
Libra - my two are def not pristine little girls, real tomboys! Especially Florence - she looks really boyish too, as well as being very gregarious and physical - I tend to dress her in a lot of pink and dresses!!
Disney-I love love Stratford park! We were there yesterday with some friends - had a picnic in the rain by the swings etc, looked at the ducks and squirrels and watched a punch and judy show by the museum.
I thought Florence would be startled at the least by all the screaming and hitting in the show (I don't like P+J shows!) but she thought it was great - clapped and bounced throughout!
SK - Florence too seems to have 'grown up' so much in the last few weeks - jsut developing soo fast, it's wonderful to watch, though a little tinged with sadness as unlike you we've decided we have completed our family and it's weird thinking I'll never go through these days again.
I help at our local b/feeding support group and seeing all the tiny ones there (we had a 10day and a 17 day today) is a mixture of 'aww so so lovely, special newborn times' and 'omg, I am so glad that's over with' !!
Was talking to dd1 about how when she is a 'big lady' she can go to work and have babies and I'll be the grandma and look after them!! She thought that sounded good.
Red salamander if you're around - has sleep got any better? - here's hoping!
Huge post, sorry - don't get on here v much.
