hi all, just posting so i can find you tomorrow, we landed at 3.30 and should have been home by 10 but the motorway had 16 mile tailbacks so tried to go a different way, so did everyone else unfortunately...
We where in Portugal, it rained for the first 6 days but was pretty nice weather for the last 3, will tell you all more when i have time, oh and Shannons word at the moment is 'burger'-she means 'blanket', she loves her fluffy blanket so much but the 2 we had where disgusting so i wouldn't let her have them on the plane.. she kept shouting burger, nice..

anyway just quickly

Dal-I hope you're ok, your bloody parents make me so angry, glad you sent them the letter, but i'm sure you're right in the response you end up with, get the injuction sorted asap as they're going to keep coming round.

LES-crap about the bag, will message you tomorrow about weekend.

Muppet-i'm not suprised DH was livid over Olly, poor boy, i hope he's not too traumatised.

LLL-pmsl at the photo

need to do more washing now and collapse into bed, will be back tomorrow.

HI all

Spent yesterday in hospital being monitored due to having pains again not dilating but having very contraction-like pains. Lo is still very happy though! The midwife + consultant both felt that as I was resting yesterday the problem is me doing too much. I agree but with Henry not walking I do need to lift him and still use a pushchair (ours is fab but quite heavy) putting him to bed is tough as I have to lean over the lowered cot side but the bump still gets in the way iyswim and taking him up 2 flights of stairs is no mean feat either -and I thought I was fit!! Was told that 3rd labours are fast, premature labours are even faster as there is no 2nd stage and that I need to rest as I could have Tobias at home and he would need to go into scbu which at our hospital has just been shut (I didn't ask why ) so the situation is that I need to rest with no lifting/bending. My iron levels are 9 again but that's normal for me so back on iron tablets but all else is totally fine. Sitting on my backside here I come!

Have asked at nursery if they have any spare days for Henry as extra as he's the main problem (sounds awful to say but him not walking is really the problem) and they're going to get back to me. The lovely school ladies are brining Ollie home (which he thinks is very exciting ) to help on a regular basis so not much more we can all do.

I escaped being given steroids which is good and I'm hoping this was just a wake up call rather than anything serious.

Alice -shame about the hugabub!
Dal -great news on Dylan not being needed to be seen till 2 xx
Inzi - fab news on the weight lose
WWAJC -hope the exam went well xx
NMC - loving 'burger!' xxx

alicet · 23/04/2009 21:21

Muppet sorry to hear you are having a stressful time. I love it when you get told to rest like this by health professionsla - 'Oh great does that mean you're prescribing me 24 housr childcare then?' you should ahve said Seriously I hope you manage to get plenty of help. If I lived closer to you I would offer to help after we had moved but I think newcastle to Swindon is a bit of a push!

Dal great news on Dylan! I have grown some veggies in pots in my yard before we moved to this house - beans, tomatos and courgettes that I can remember but sure there were more. Not sure how much help i would be but feel free to ask!

Needcoffee pmsl at Shannon shouting burger!!! You can just imagine some middle class pfb organic everything mum turning her nose up and the blardy riff raffs!!!

Inzi congrats on the weight loss!

Off now as dh is back after being away since early Mon am so prob wrong to be chatting to you lot instead! Life OK here but nothing exciting to report other than packing.... See you soon x

Dalrymps · 23/04/2009 22:40

Hey ladies,

NC - Sory you had queueing on the way back from holiday and that it rained. Hope you had a nice time apart from that.

Thanks for your support re my parents, heard nothing since I sent the letter, hoping it stays that way.

Weird that Shannon says burger, so does Dylan! Except with Dylan I have no idea what he is saying it in reference to

Inzi - Congrats on the weight loss!

Wow, the place you're going on holiday looks amazing, I'd love to go there. I haven't been to tenerife, been to Lanzarote 3 times though, the canaries are lovely

Muppet - Sorry you've been having pains again. Hope you can manage to get some rest in between looking after the boys. Here's hoping the nursery have some more days for Henry

Hi, hope the packing is going ok.

Have asked my pils for occasional advice on the veggies. I wasn't sure about how many seeds to put in each pot when starting them off but they said just a pinch. Still got to plant my strawberries, a bit confused by that, i've bought some kind of buld/half plant thing in a bag of soil? I'm so clueless it's funny lmao!

Well, just getting stuff ready for the weekend. It's my nieces (brothers little girl) 1st birthday party in Peterborough. Unfortunately, dh is having to work sat until 12 and there's no way he can get out of it. This means we'll have to set straight off when he finishes work, i'll have to feed Dylan lunch early and then we'll drive there in one go to catch as much of the party as we can. It starts at 3 and we should arrive around 5.30 so not bad. We'll then have to drive back on sun as dh can't get the mon off either so it's gonna be a tiring weekend! looking forward to seeing my bro's and sils though.

As usual, hi to everyone i've missed x

alicet · 25/04/2009 10:47

Came on here expecting a big catch up and you have been quiet!

Dal hope you have a fab weekend for your niece's party and that you at least get there in time for cake! Fingers crossed your parents stay quiet - could it be that they have finally decided to respect you wishes?!?!!!

I am at work but obviously the people of Northumberland are not ill at the moment as we are very quiet! I have probably just jinxed myself though and will regret that later....

Dalrymps · 25/04/2009 11:49

Setting off soon, my mum just called my mobile and left a message , gonna get dh to listen to it when he gets home at 12. She tried to call him too. Here we go again,...

NeedCoffee · 25/04/2009 12:09

just quickly as meant to be doing college work while i have no children, dal, whatever they've said, just ignore them, selfish twat heads, all they think about is themselves. I hope you have a lovely time today xxx

Alice lol thats exactly what i thought when she was shouting it Although there was a little boy in front of us, a bit older, that screamed for ages, so maybe drowned her out Hope everyone stays well and you get plenty of net catch up time

Muppet-hope you're ok and trying to rest x

off to do work now x

alicet · 25/04/2009 14:48

Dal hope she didn't sya anything too upsetting (probably futile from your past experience )

Can you block her number?

Needcoffee hope you manage to get lots done!

muppetgirl · 26/04/2009 11:16

will be abck later but

crochet - have a look at this!

here

It's a sundress made from a man's shirt that actually looks really good!

alicet · 26/04/2009 14:21

Muppet just looked at that link - what a fab dress! Not anyway near handy enough to do that so probably a good job I don't have a dd as I would try and then probably end up having an argument with dh as i ranted about why it didn't bloody work!

alicet · 26/04/2009 14:35

This has a serious message but some bloody funny stories check this out if you want a laugh!

WhiteWineAndJaffaCakes · 26/04/2009 20:30

Dal - hope you had a good time in Peterborough. That's fab news about the paediatrician - well done to Dylan .

Inzi - glad the diet is going so well. Apartment in Tenerife looks lovely - here's counting down to November .

Muppet - glad you're ok - hope you get the help you need from nursery etc and that you can get some rest.

Alice - make the most of your quiet time at work . Hope the packing's going ok. Like that thread but have you read it since? - it's gone quite mad !

NC - hope you had a good holiday despite rain and queues.

Anya's check up at paediatrics went well - we were only in there for a few minutes. She's still on the 'above average' line on her growth chart so that's good news, and they're pleased with all the other test results - all the other consultants have discharged us now. We don't have to see anybody until next spring now I think .

Anya has said her first word.....

"No!"

She said it several times today, as in "do you want to do/eat x?" She sounds so cute when she says it.

Dalrymps · 26/04/2009 21:52

Hey Ladies,

Back now, jusr a quick update.

We had an absolutely lovely time at my nieces party, actually got there for 4.30 and it started at 3 so hardly missed any of it

She had a lovely time and got lots of pressies, was great to see my bros and sils too!

Dylan was a total sweetheart despite the long journeys and only 1 short, nappy change stop each way

I/dh hasn't listened to the message my mum left on my phone but he did listen to the one she left on his. The one she left on his was horrendous so we didn't want to spoil the weekend by listening to the other message straight after it.

I can't remember everything she said right now but some of the things she said were...

About dh :

-Why don't you go and ring your mummy, you mummies boy, that's what you do isn't it?

-We've got you on video acting like a rot weiller (sp?) when we came to your house and we'll show it to Dylan when he's old enough so he knows what his daddy is like

(he wasn't acting 'like a rot weiller', he was asking my mum to leave our property, trying to stop her barging in the door and eventually, when all else failed told her to F off. A pretty normal reaction to being stalked and harassed I would say)

That last comment just reminded me of what a nasty, wicked person she is. What person in their right mind would deliberately set out to turn someones own son against them. And to plan this when he is 18 months old

She also said..

  • We're not going to give up (said in threatening tone)
  • We'll be in touch again, don't you worry (said in threatening tone)
  • We've been watching everything very closely over the last 6 years and we thought it was your old mucka's fault but no, it must be something else, you've all got something to hide, you must have. ('old mucka' is my best friend who married my bro, so sil)
  • Your pils are evil for not letting us know about Dylan.
  • Oh yes, we had all this about a restraining order last time didn't we?! (as if they don't believe i'll get one so they can carry on as they like)
  • We want to talk to Amy alone, not with you there Ali, alone! Why don't you go for a pint with your best man, that's what you do isn't it?! (erm, no, I can count on one hand the number of times he's 'been for a pint with his best man' in the last few years)

I don't know if i've got everything there, just what I can remember. It was all said at high speed in a very demented manner.

Pils have both listened to the message ans think it is wicked, and demented and have both said we will have to do something about it. They are worried about how this is affecting me

Dalrymps · 26/04/2009 22:01

Sorry, I pressed post when I meant to reply to some of your messages first...

WWAJC - Thats great Anya's check up went so well

Awww to her first word, it's going to be a useful one!

NC - Hope you got your college work done. Thanks for the support re my parents.

Alicet - Not sure if I can block her number but getting the mesages gives me an idea of when they're likely to turn up so it's kind of my way to monitor their mood iyswim.

Muppet - Hope your pains have died down and you're managing to rest.

Hi to everyone i've missed x

alicet · 26/04/2009 23:14

Dal make sure you store all the messages. If you can bear to transcribe them and date it so that you have some proof for the restraining order (I think on mobiles at least you can only store messages for a limited amount of time). Preferably store them and play them to the police as well so that at least someone independent has heard them and ask them to sign your transcriptions so that this can be used as evidence.

Don't answer any calls that you don't recognise the number as I am sure she will work out that if she calls from another phone you won't know it's her. The more messages she leaves like this the more evidence you have and you don't want to speak to the poinsonous witch anyway. If it is a friend / someone you need to speak to they will leave a message won't they and you can call back.

Glad at least you had a good weekend!

Hello everyone else! We will not have internet access at home for a while from Tues so I will only be on sporadically when I can from work. May well be too busy before then too but I will be thinking of you all. Lots of love xxx

Dalrymps · 26/04/2009 23:22

Thanks alicet, will do. It's hard to transcribe them as they talk so fast we have to keep playing it over and over and it's awful to listen to. We can record them through our phones though but even then we can't pause the messages but at least that way they're saved. I'm so sick of this awful behaviour . Wish they'd just leave me alone. I'm going to have to get some advice re the restraining order.

Hope you're doing ok and that it's not too long before we hear from you again...

NeedCoffee · 27/04/2009 15:00

hello lovely ladies, oh yes you are i'm feeling a bit manic today for some reason..

WWAJC-thats it now, you wont be able to get her to shut up! Really please about the pead visit too

Alice-don't be gone too long! How dare you be too busy to get on MN You moved yet or know when you are?

Dal-agree with what Alice said, you really need to look into the restraining order, they're taking the piss thinking you're not going to do it, did the police give you any info? Tbh, i think the court will only need to read or hear a bit of any messages and they will grant you the injuction, look into it as soon as you have chance.

LES-how did the Christening go? I'm so sorry i couldn't make it It was going to be where i came down by myself, but then Rich had a job interview and there wasn't a chance in Hell i was sitting on a 4/5 hour coach journey with a moody bum Shannon, however, let me know which weekends you are free from now on, and i'll book the coach and come see you for a night or 2.

That goes for everyone, i've decided i need to get out more, and so would love to come and visit people, all the los are getting older and we've hardly had any meet ups, anyone want us? especilly while the £9 sale room for travel lodges are on?! Dal-want me to come and be a rotvieler(sp) with DH when your parents come round? I bet i'm scarier than him

NeedCoffee · 27/04/2009 15:02

oops meant to say hi to everyone else, Muppet, inzi, Mine, Crochet, sleepmenot, LLL... have i missed anyone?

muppetgirl · 27/04/2009 17:42

Dal - I am finding what your mother is saying rather sinister...sorry if I'm over reacting but she sounds very unhinged.

I would echo what Alice has said re the transcription, when the police took my mobile I think I remember them saying they couldn't actually listen to the content of past calls could only log the freqency. What you could do is buy a dictaphone/cheap answerphone with tapes (do they still exist? ) so you have a separate place to put them. My mother used to fill up tape after tape and we just let her in the end and then handed them to our solicitor as proof of what she was doing.

I would def get that restraining order as it would then show her her behaviour is unreasonable.

Don't worry about Dylan and what they could say to him when he's older. He can see for himself what you and dh are like, keep a copy of the tapes you make and play them to him to show him what you had to put up with. You are not in the wrong xx
will be back later
xx

WhiteWineAndJaffaCakes · 27/04/2009 18:27

Dal - at your parents - sounds like they will try any tactic. Think Alice/Muppet have good ideas and you should certainly get a restraining order. Glad you had a good time at the weekend despite that.

Anya went to Jo Jingles this morning for the first time and loved it . All the other children are her age too so it should be good for her.

I put my CV on a couple of job websites at the weekend and got about half a dozen phone calls from recruitment agencies this morning - no jobs as yet but at least I'm getting on people's books. The more I think about it the more I want to get back into accountancy (how sad is that ?) as I've realised I'm rubbish at selling products/investments to people who don't really want them - and that's what I need to do to hit my sales targets. (omg, even the fact I've got sales targets is just so depressing ). Anyhow, we shall see what happens.

alicet · 27/04/2009 20:20

Right well this will be last post for a while - we are moving tomorrow! Very excited and we're pretty organised surprisingly after a last blitz today while boys were at nursery. Just a few last minute bits and pieces to sort tomorrow am and then we're done!

Will be on as much as I can internet permitting. Hope talktalk get their act in gear earlier than the 6 weeks max they have quoted and then I will be back! Oh and I can't access facebook at work so make sure anything important is on here please!

Needcoffee you are welcome to come to Newcastle! No need for travel lodge either as in our new house (from end of June ish builders permitting...) we have a lovely big ensuite guest room! Honestly there is so much space in our new house I don't think I'll know I'm born and I still have to pinch myself as I can't believe we are lucky enough to have it...

Dal I think needcoffee definately has scary rotweiller potential if the wrong buttons are pressed ( hope you take that as a compliment not insult NC) so I think you should take her up on her offer!

Anyway too much of a busy head to take in much else so sorry I have been a bit neglectful of late but I think I ahve a bit of an excuse I'll miss you all heaps and look forward to being in touch soon...

Woooozle100 · 27/04/2009 20:27

quick hi off me. Haven't read all the messages. Muppet's jumped out at me cos I can empathise with being pg and having toddler to carry about. When pg with j I had various scares, little bleeds and I put it partly down to lugging dd everywhere. Wishing you all the best. Take it easy lady

Big waves to everyone else. Been AWOL for yonks. DD has been v poorly. In hospital a week then in and out for constant appts. Ended up back in A & E last week and they were going to admit her but changed mind after speaking to metabolic consultant. She has 10 different consultants and now we are waiting on another 2 referrals - got her whole body pretty covered there. Things in hand and starting to go the right way now

Oh and we have SW and have been referred to acorns, footsteps and complex care. Complex care provide nursing support at home. Would like them overnight a couple of nights a week so dh and I could have proper switch off sleep. I'm glad support is now almost a possibility - even with sad connotations of dd being recognised as life limited. DD's general paed wrote arsey letter, mentioned CAF and next week SW comes to house. Tis all about money really cos the CAF is basically where they all get together and LHA agree to foot some of the bill.

Dal - sorry to read you are having such probs with yr mother. What an horrendous situation.

Woooozle100 · 27/04/2009 20:28

best of luck for yr move alice

NeedCoffee · 27/04/2009 20:40

pixie-sorry i missed you out when saying hi. I really feel for you, and i'm so sorry dd is poorly I hope that you manage to get some nursing care at home, i honestly don't know how you cope. If their is anything i can do to help then please let me know xx

Alice-pmsl, not offended at all and will be really looking forward to coming and lodging at yours for lots of wine chit chat. I hope the move goes perfectly smoothly for you and stupid talktalk get their act together, why it should take that long is incomprehendable! Its like my internet provider, Kingston Communications, can only get them as live in Hull, if i get the cheaper broadband package, i have to pay (can't remember exactly but i think about) £30 connection fee, but if i have the dearer package then their is no connection fee, when i questioned this, they couldn't explain the difference really but gave me some crap about all the wiring at the switchboard bla bla bollox, i'd love to know what the actually do, bet its press a few buttons on a computer!

WWAJC-nothing wrong with wanting to do accounting, thats what i'm training to do! How about an Actuary(sp)? That is going to be what i want to do..sounds like fun, they're meant to be even more boring than accountants hehehe

Inzi-where are you now a days? bet you've fallen down a drain hole because you're that skinny now!

Dal-you OK?
