SOL, will be thinking about you tomorrow afternoon.
MJ sorry you're having a hard time. Not sure what the answer is. What specifically is bothering you, and can you and/or he change - will that improve the situation?

cazboldy · 20/04/2009 14:42

Happy Birthday Katie and Samuel! xxx

SPB sorry about your friend

SOL - fingers crossed for your mums results

MJ - Hope you feel a bit happier soon Maybe you just need some time to yourself.... I know I feel beer sometimes even if I have just been poo picking Is just the quiet time, and some time to think!

Caitlin and Harry went back to school today, and Charlie has been to playgroup.- that is after I managed to borrow the farm truck as ds1 ran the car battery flat using his compressor to pump up his bike tyres yesterday, and leaving the ignition on all night !!

loving the weather !!

cazboldy · 20/04/2009 14:43

CaptainDippy · 20/04/2009 18:58

hi Luce, I've been wondering where you were! Glad S had a good birthday! I know what you mean about 2 years going fast
T has started asking for kisses on the lips and then wiping his mouth with a disgusted look on his face He's also started saying "beep beep" when someone is in his way - I genuinely do not know who taught him that

Sexonlegs · 20/04/2009 21:03

Hey folks.

Luce, lovely to see you and glad Samuel had a lovely day too.

Hi Runny

SPB, T sounds a real character bless him.

Dooby, you poor thig with the d&v bug - sounds awful. Hope you are all completely better soon.

Had a lovely birthday tea and Katie loved her presents bless her. I cannot believe 2 years has gone by.

MJ, how are you this evening?

Can you take some time out and think about things? Figure out what you are not happy with and how to fix it. I really feel for you, as I have been there too - things not fab here really - we get on really well, but not all elements are fab if you get my drift

StealthPolarBear · 20/04/2009 21:33

Glad M is feeling better dooby. Hope tomorrow goes well at new school!
SOL, glad K enjoyed her birthday. What did you get her?

elkiedee · 20/04/2009 23:54

MJ, sorry to hear how you're feeling about bickering with your dh.

SOL, hope your mum's tests are good.

Lots of belated happy birthdays.

SPB, how horrid about the guy you were at school with. It's still shocking when someone your age or the age of someone close to you dies however old you get to be, even when like me you're an old bat. I get upset reading obituaries of people who've died in their 60s because they're the age of my dad (68) or mum (64) or mum's dh (65). But heart attacks, and strokes, and things which happen so suddenly are particularly scary precisely because they happen to be people who are loved by someone who can't possibly be prepared for that shock.

StealthPolarBear · 21/04/2009 07:04

Happy Birthday Beatrice and Caiomhe

lol at the old bat comment
When I was younger 60 seemed ancient. Now my parents and PIls are approaching 60 and I don't believe in a few years time they're going to suddenly be old! I think 70 is the new 'old age' - i.e. when you start jumping out of aeroplanes and going on holidays. Most people don't seem elderly and frail until well into their 80s

Enjoy your Starbucks day CD!

SOL, thinking of you and your mum today. Crossing my fingers for you all, really hope the news is fab xxxx
And I know what you mean about not all areas of the relationship being fine! We get on well together, but I really feel like we are just acquaintances these days if that makes any sense at all. I just feel like we have lost all the closeness that used to be between us, and I find myself wondering if this is what life should be like iykwim. Oh, I am just one big ball of joy

Dooby, hope ds1 has a good day in school and that M is much better soon

Good to see you Bramshott and Luce

That's it, no more memory, see you later ladies xx

Eddas · 21/04/2009 13:23

alot of what you're all saying about your relationships rings many bells with me/dh.

I think that it's natures way of ensuring you don't have more children than you can cope with, well that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it

Sexonlegs · 21/04/2009 13:46

Eddas, like your thoughts there!

Bramshott, lovely to see you; was wondering where you had disappeared.

Happy Birthday B and C - where is the lurker from the North??

Dooby, hope your ds has settled in to school today. Must be quite daunting.

Dippy, pmsl at you going on strike. I say that quite regularly; one of these days I will actually do it!!

MJ, ikewym; dh and I are like house-mates and I have to say that the other day, I thought S* is this it for the next 30 years?? Hope you are ok xx

cazboldy · 21/04/2009 14:01

eddas! dont say that...

I have no complaints whatsoever atm with my lovelife

except to say that you can't have too much of a good thing

so how many dc am I going to end up with?

Northernlurker · 21/04/2009 14:09

Happy Birthday to Caiomhe

Thanks for your birthday wishes for B and the same to all of your April babies!

All fine here but very busy at work and church and home.

B has had a lovely day so far (I think - I certainly have) We dropped off big girls at school and then popped into town. Quick run around by the city walls then a trip to Gap - B bought a very pretty top and some caterpillar socks which she insisted on wearing straight away. Then off to the railway museum - B is avery big train fan. After that we had lunch in Bettys and cycled off home - B fell asleep so I took a very scenic and lengthy route home to give her a god shot at a nap.

SOL - hope you get good news today.

MJ - just hang in there. We went to a wedding blessing on Saturday and the vicar was talking about marriage being most of all about persistence. Was a very good summing up I thought of life and love in a long term relationship - so all of you persist!

Dooby - hope poor M's ear is better!

MJreturns · 21/04/2009 14:09

Lol Caz Full football team?

Eddas, I like your thinking! That sounds like a perfectly sensible explanation to me!
