Jas, what you upto then?

Popped out for farewell coffee with Meridian this am, as she's off to States for a few weeks, so I'm on cat duty but bar that not much on here, think we may be making cupcakes in a moment, then some easter crafting, dh's mates over tonight for chinese and games.

Jas · 28/03/2009 20:54

Evening all

I'm busy trying to tidy up and get ready t go away (we're going t my brothers house for the easter holidays, and leave on Tuesday

Added t the mayhem was the heating breaking this evening The pump has finally died, resulting in a small flood Thankfully dp really can do anything, and will be able to fix it once we get back and have the money for the parts.

How's the laptop Phoenix?

Was your day ok Flame? Or are you still in the house of sick?

Jas, have a lovely hols, have you broken up already then? don't break here till Friday.

dd2 is sat in a her pj's and a hat, 'cause it's snowed mummy' yes, we have a garden half covered in a dusting of snow, the other half in brilliant sunshine, summer time eh!

mustrunmore · 29/03/2009 13:54

Snow
Yes bands but not much... squats with side raises alternate, leg raises on all fours, scissor legs in air, triceps, cant think what else....

God i'm knackereed, home at 3am boys up 6am me up at 7am after them jumping on me an hour.
A.so very with Dad; long story involving boys rtashing house under his supervision.

Jas · 29/03/2009 15:45

We don't break up til Friday, either. I have taken them out of school for 4 days

EachPeachPearMum · 29/03/2009 16:37

Wow for snow! it was cold yesterday, but is beautiful today
We have been doing stuff in dd's room, making it into a forest glade.
We got an ikea lamp like csws's dd's (in white though) and 2 bed canopies- dd's is girly with leaves, ds' more masculine- green with green leaf-like top. They look lovely dd is soooo impressed.

Flamesparrow · 29/03/2009 17:56

Frizbe - Boy has agreed to a childfree weekend to visit

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 29/03/2009 21:12

Am I right on thinking csws's favourite ice cream flavour is Pistachio???
They have started doing Pistachio Gelato in Sainsbury- I know it's a no no atm with bf ds... but once he's no longer intolerant...

EachPeachPearMum · 29/03/2009 22:08

LOL- I may be 'Right on'... but I meant 'in' of course, above...

Flamesparrow · 30/03/2009 07:46

So DD announced yesterday that she didn't like the new cbeebies presenter as they looked funny.

We sat and had a chat about disabilities with me a bit

When we got to the end, she pointed out that it is the bloke who looks odd

OP posts:
Frizbe · 30/03/2009 09:18

at bloke looking odd, the new one or the slightly older new one! iuswim?

for you getting up this way all by yourself, you welcome to crash here if you need to,(not sure what you've sorted with Meridian) I was going to say we have room for all four of you, plus bump, once ss's new bedroom is sorted out! which its not yet mind.....

MRM we were doing the usual leg stuff with bands, and the wobbling along the floor with them, but also did a horrible pilates move with them, do you know the one where you hover on your arse, legs folded and off the floor, then you stretch your legs out, as you reach out above your head, all without touching floor, then back into position again, its actually easier with bands, but it doesn't half kill your tummy!

EPPM room sounds lovely

Jas enjoy it, you deserve a lovely time away

CSWS How's you?

Right off for more exercise here, then I'm working late(ish) tonight as new Pokemon night on till 7.30 (usually get staff to do monday nights on their own, but Pokemon requires more of us normally!)

Flamesparrow · 30/03/2009 09:26

I have arranged "you will come visit us without children for a birthday thing and then again in summer with children". Oh and much coffee. That is as far as we have planned

No, the new new bloke, she has never commented on how freakishly long andy is.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 30/03/2009 10:04

actually never done that with bands... off to try

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/03/2009 11:24

I'm not great actually Friz. Am on day 2 of stomach cramps and feeling sick.

Pistachio is one of my 2 fave flavours (black cherry being the other), but we bought some pistachio that Waitrose were selling last year, and it actually wasn't very nice.

That's all for now, as need to type up list of stuff we lost in fire. Just spoken to insurance co, and it def won't cover it all.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/03/2009 11:32

Ooh - actually it might cover it all - bit of a diff between our quotation and the actual policy documentation. Big phew if so!
