phoneix- we only switched to pull-ups at night at dd's insistence- and we said she had to be almost dry (only tiny teeny wees) before we switched.

wabbitty emoticons are very cute!

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/04/2009 21:34

Good hair.

Cute smilies.

Dd has slapped cheek.

Phoenix · 03/04/2009 21:40

Short and sweet

Phoenix · 03/04/2009 21:40

for dd, is she ill with it?

EachPeachPearMum · 03/04/2009 21:46

Does it take long to go csws?

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/04/2009 22:02

Well apparently once the rash appears (did today) she's not contagious, and she's coping pretty well with it - just asking to go to bed earlier and settling well the last couple of nights, compared to hellish evenings for the few days beforehand.

EachPeachPearMum · 03/04/2009 22:19

Well- at least you know there's a reason for her behaviour... whereas my dd has been a nightmare for past 2 evenings without an excuse....

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2009 09:48

Hope DD is doing ok CSWS

Yay for dry pull ups EPPM

Like the hair MRM

I need to go clothes shopping. My tops are fine - they were all pretty much loose ones anyway, but my trousers are a problem where they are fitting on the bum, doing up under the bump, but sort of pushing it up so it is uncomfortable after a few hours

Oooh oooh - I get to go and see Priscilla on Easter Monday

I need to send your parcel Flame... sorry- I have been housebound with dd. There are 2 skirts, trousers, jeans and 2 wrap dresses. Will try and sort...

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2009 16:22

I had forgotten about you sending things completely, that wasn't meant as a nagging thing!

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 04/04/2009 19:56

I didn;t think for a minute it was! Just warning you before you went out spending...
DD enjoyed her party... still won't play in the soft play with the others... well- I guess she won't change now eh?
I have been v teary today just feeling so bogged down in drudgery... probably because I haven't been able to leave the house all week. DH never seems to do any housework, and it is fecking annoying, as while he's at home he just constantly creates mess and washing up, but never does any of it. [grr]
I constantly have to remind him of snack times and meal times for dd... he is so anti- routine its unbelieveable (by which I mean he is chaotic, not he is against having routines!) just winds me up- she has been with us for 3 years... he might have noticed by now that she needs to eat and not just play!

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/04/2009 20:14

I'm sure I've missed something EPPM. Why have you been housebound? I hate having to stay in for a couple of days, let alone a whole week.

EachPeachPearMum · 04/04/2009 20:51

um, dd has had diarrhoea since monday morning... just about back to normal now.. haven't risked taking her anywhere tbh. Dh has been working from home all week, so trying to keep 2 of them fed, watered, happy, toiletted, and vaguely quiet has been a bit of a nightmare.

Phoenix · 05/04/2009 21:34

Quiet on here today.

EachPeachPearMum · 05/04/2009 22:34

It was obviously my moaning that saw everyone off

We had a better day today- massive supermarket shop in the morning, went home, made a picnic, and went to botanical gardens all afternoon- it was lovely. DS slept in open air most of the time, DD had a whale of a time- there was a band in the bandstand, she danced, looked at the aviaries, and went on the playground and generally enjoyed herself.

Flamesparrow · 06/04/2009 07:50

Yay for your lovely day.

i spent mine partly at my mum's, and partly cutting up the divan bed so it now has storage under it. Very productive day.

Today I ache lots and am very tired

We have decided to start the day by squealing lots and squabbling... oh the joy of holidays.

CantSleepWontSleep · 06/04/2009 08:25

Your day sounds lovely EPPM. Is dd better now then?

We met friends for lunch, bought a broom which broke on first use, and spent the early evening getting screamed at by ds, who also refused his tea. He's now had 2 lots of calpol (had high temp), and has a streaming cold, which we hope is just a cold and not the onset of slapped cheek.

mustrunmore · 06/04/2009 10:04

I've got really really bad cysyitis again kinda spolit my night out on sat cos I kept runninf off to the loo. Oh well!

Flamesparrow · 06/04/2009 19:53

for cystitis

@ your broom CSWS - I know it isn't a thing, but pictured you flying it for some reason and it sort of puttering out a couple of inches into the air.

Mate gave me a load of maternity bits today including a fab little black dress which will see me through my weddings this summer

You're nuts flame!!

Looks like it is most likely slapped cheek for ds, and I have a very nasty ear infection to go with it. What a healthy household we are .

Flamesparrow · 07/04/2009 11:40

Poor little guy (and you obv)

Phoeninx for 4 weeks left at work!

We had a lovely weekend, stayed at York, did Harrogate Sat am, got bored and headed back to York for pm, then on Sunday went upto Redcar, then got driven to Staithes on the Cleveland coast for lunch, have to say its a very nice small fishing village, the type a bit like St Ives where you keep expecting to see pirates popping out

Today have been back up to Yorks again, visiting friends near Scarborough back to work tomorrow though.....(did work mon pm and tue too!)
