csws- she had thrush a couple of weeks ago... I know its late, but... you okay?

Jas- one of our best books was a charity shop buy.. well more than one actually, but I'm thinking of the Maisy's Bedtime we got for 10p that was immaculate and has been read a billion times- dd had it for 3 years, now ds adores it- he grins his gummy grin when I pick it up!

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/05/2009 23:02

Ah yes, thrush cleared thank you.
Am fine, except considering possibility of looking for a job/applying for a job with one of my old companies.

Must go to bed now (or go feed ds who will undoubtedly awake the second my head hits pillow, if not before).

EachPeachPearMum · 20/05/2009 06:20

ah csws- mine don't wake when my head hits the pillow... they wait until I've actually dropped off for 2 minutes then yell ... [grr]

Does anyone else have that stage of falling asleep where... if you actually concentrate on what you're thinking as it goes through you head you realise its nonsense and is actually dreams?

mustrunmore · 20/05/2009 09:05

kinda yes. But what ive been doing lately is falling asleep whilst texting, and sending some v odd ones that are actually the start of dreams in my head!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2009 09:44

Actually you're right eppm - he normally waits until I've been asleep between 10 and 20 mins before waking, but I was later to bed last night, so figured he'd wake first, which he did. Then he woke again 3 hrs later. And again an hour after that. And he stayed awake for 1.5 hrs.

Yes re dreaming.

EachPeachPearMum · 20/05/2009 10:37

I think the dreaming thing os to do with being so tired... I never had it before having children AFAIrecall.

Yes- ds decided to be infuriating playful the night before last- giggling is lovely, but not at 3am...

mrm- you falling asleep texting made me laugh out loud!

How is food going with ds csws? He must have tried loads of things now... Is the impetigo gone (erm- I have no idea how long it takes to clear up)

Phoenix · 20/05/2009 21:24

Evening all

Not much to add either

Is it me or does pregnancy really drag? I'm getting to the fed up stage now. 8wks to due date but could be earlier

Has anyone heard from Flame? If you're lurking hope you're ok.

Jas · 20/05/2009 21:49

It's just you Phoenix

I found the last pg went on forever.

No dreams at all here. I very rarely remember them. Not because I'm not over tired, either. DD! was up apparently unable to sleep for over two hours last night. I know because she came and told me every 15 minutes.

God luck with job decision making csws...I have it easier than you, as I'd struggle to make more than minimum wage atm, and when dp has work, he does earn more than that! I will have to get some kind of part time work soon though. I'm thinking of putting ds into nursery for 1 full day after the summer, then I may have enugh time to do something.

Do you get the Primary times mag from dds school csws? (Not sure if private schools issue it) My dds are on the front cover of the issue for your area. Not here, but the nice editr has posted me a copy, hopefully.

Frizbe · 20/05/2009 21:52

Phoenix, do you think you'd be up for a small meet in early Aug,(if baby early enough, obviously!) prob at Sculpture park, Chloe, you're welcome too! more detail nearer time.

MRM, falling asleep texting, what are you like

Job CSWS that could make feeding rather a pain.....fingers x'd dh picks up something very soon.

Have girls night round here this Friday, so I've been food shopping for that today, going to make it tomrrow night, then fridge it, as at work till everyone arrives, so dh in charge of putting it in oven (yikes!) and prepping veg......will it be a disaster?? see here for details!

EachPeachPearMum · 20/05/2009 21:57

Phoenix How can it be 8 weeks left already????
Pg really drags for me too... I hate it.

Jas- for dds

Flame · 20/05/2009 21:58

I'm here. spiralling and not taking much in, so on sobbing threads or completely irrelevant ones.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2009 21:59

Why are they on cover for my area and not yours Jas? Dd's is only a nursery school up to age 5, so not sure they'd get primary times.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2009 22:01

Only reason my pregnancy didn't drag was because of all the building work going on at the same time.

Phoenix · 20/05/2009 22:01

Yes i'd be up for that Friz

EachPeachPearMum · 20/05/2009 22:10

Flame- thinking about you... not hugging you.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/05/2009 22:30

Do you have a thread of your own flame?

Flame · 20/05/2009 23:04

yup, one in mental health

Building works during pregnancy still sounds like hell, no matter how much it may speed things.

beg Aug is when I will be about too...

Just read the job bit. Sucks with missing babies, but grown up time sounds appealing

mustrunmore · 21/05/2009 15:23

Dreamt last night that MrJas built us an extension for £5,000 . And I wasnt texting either.

Flame, I'm gald you're still around. I miss your texts...

EachPeachPearMum · 21/05/2009 19:11

Wow I'll have 2 at that price!

csws- is it possible to freelance/work from home in your type of job (its something financial isnt it... accountancy? or are you commercial type?)

Frizbe · 21/05/2009 20:18

Phoenix that's cool, Flame, yes it is....we can coo at new baby! plus excuse for Phoenix to meet Meri and LL to pop over from Mancs too Chloe you coming, the rest of you are welcome too, just need to travel up the M1 a bit! (sculputure park is just south of Leeds, course if it rains, we could do meadow hell......)

I'll have an extension at that price MRM you can tell it was a dream

So am attempting to cook dinner for tomorrow night at the moment, am debating drinking some of the wine well, the kids are in bed, dh is at work and I'm sure it doesn't all need to go into the food !

Frizbe · 21/05/2009 20:19

Ooohh can I just preen for a minute, I got some size 12 jeans on Monday and forgot to tell you, put them on for 1st time today me a 12!!!!

Frizbe · 21/05/2009 21:10

Phoenix · 21/05/2009 21:29

Frizbe · 21/05/2009 21:42
