Buckets you are coming through VERY LOUD this morning. Did you mention something about a good nights sleep? What is that? Did you say something about children playing happily? How is that? Something else about cooperative DH?

Who are you really and what have you done with the REAL BUCKETS???

Buckets · 07/02/2009 09:46

Cyteen I too am not keen on rugger buggers, but went to such a posh uni so they were everywhere. I like a man with a bit of guile... (and style)

LOL in job interviews when they ask what's your biggest fault, I always say that I am a morning person and people don't seem to like me bouncing into the office singing!

TwilightSurferGoIreland · 07/02/2009 09:49

Or wearing NEON YELLOW!! LOL

Now go have fun!

LOL Not much going on HERE in my HOUSE. Just me and the cat looking at each other. And I know she's think. WTF is THAT HUMAN DOING UP AT THIS HOUR.

Quality lie in you had there Sazzles. My neighbor broke her dd3's door knob a while back. I fixed it for her. My DD1 and her DD3 are best buddies so they chatted through the door while I worked my magic. Tricky those door knobs.

Just looking over rugby stuff. Getting ready to enjoy a new form of sports entertainment today.

TwilightSurferGoIreland · 07/02/2009 10:01

Just saw where Oops is going out for breakfast. That's a good idea. I could go out and be back before anyone here (in my house) knows i'm gone.

Buckets · 07/02/2009 10:01

I should really change my name to Tigger.

sambo303 · 07/02/2009 10:01

morning Sazzles, I am a morning person like buckets and a lie in is torture to me... rotter you can have my lie in

heard a piece on the radio yesterday about a professional dancer who was taken to the docs as a child due to extreme hyperactivity and 'naughtiness' - he recognised frustrated expression and put some music on and left the room and she danced all about the room and that was the start of her extremely successful career as a dancer - she says today she would be diagnosed with ADD and put on some tablets to 'calm' down. Thought that was really fascinating as I dont understand where all these 'problem' children have come from.

TwilightSurferGoIreland · 07/02/2009 10:02

I could actually go workout and come back.....
eating sounds like a better plan, no?

TwilightSurferGoIreland · 07/02/2009 10:03

Morning All

The granparents are coming over in a bit to lok after DD whilst DH and I go out for a bit of breakfast. The home to do some tidying before the masses arrive to watch rugby and eat pizza. Go on inspire me with some topping ideas - I want something different not just ham and cheese!

DD slept well fed at 10.30ish then at 4 then a 7 when she started yakking so I put her in her moses basket and she went back to sleep until 8.30.

better go get dressed before the IL's arrive.

TwilightSurferGoIreland · 07/02/2009 10:07

Sambo funny you mention that story. With DD1's out-of-sorts behavior this week, Thursday evening and all day yesterday I had the classical channel on continuously. I made a huge impact Thursday. Her mood changed and everything. And yesterday, she started dancing around the house. At one point she was "showing me her moves". It was very very cute. I'd be happy if she became a professional dancer. Professional MAINSTREAM DANCER that is....not too sure her father would survive the professional pole type.

oopsRonanOGarascoconuts · 07/02/2009 10:08

I too am a morning person - I whinge for a lie in then can't sleep past 8am??? I am too bouncy for DH in the mornings and he often says he is going to work to have a nice lie down to get over his morning with me

You could workout and then eat TS and the family would still be sleeping.

TwilightSurferGoIreland · 07/02/2009 10:09

Oops sounds chipper. Did anyone notice her glow?

TwilightSurferGoIreland · 07/02/2009 10:10

Glad to hear there is some progress on the oil thing Sazzles - it does sound like a change of provider is a good step. The crowd we deal with here are always brilliant when we run out. Are the tanks preset to pack up on the coldest days of the year? That seems to be the case ...

Great progress on the toast. It's wise to keep an eye out for it though. I used to think DS was an eating genius and then find the supposedly eaten food in the oddest places.

DD2 chewed on a carrot stick and clearly managed to swallow some. Time to find the paper nappy liners I think.

How is the skin situation today? DD2 really suffers with dry and red skin too and scratches her head terribly at night. I had a chat with the pharmacist the other day and she agreed that the scratching seems to be a habit rather than a response to really itchy skin. The calendula cream I have has been good on cheeks-both of my older two are very fair and their cheeks get very unsettled in the winter.

DD1 says hi.
