now wanting food - not 'not wanting food'

Miamla · 06/02/2009 22:32

sorry, didn't mean any offence!

dizzyTHETARTANARMYdixies · 06/02/2009 22:34

night ataraxis and oops

oops I can't get to see your profile

HazieDazieandBaby · 06/02/2009 22:34

I did wonder what happened in here - love the decor by the way. And the sofa is lovely oops! Well done!

If I'm brave enough to go to London, I'm sure I can manage a wee trip down the road one day soon. I hope she does settle down again when we get home, it's taken ages to get her to sleep in her cot and at a reasonable sort of time too. I can't see your profile Sazzles, is it hidden?

Who does good jar baby food? I've been trying to avoid it so far but will have to take some with me to avoid running around like a madwoman trying to get baby food at the last minute!

Aw gorgeous pic there Sazzles. SO wish I'd been there [more stamping of feet emoticon] and x 4.

Great to see you Hazie. Yes, come and join Dizzy and me. We choose classiest settings for our meet-ups don't we Dizzy . None of this Giraffe nonsense .

HazieDazieandBaby · 06/02/2009 22:43

Hi ataraxis!

Thanks dizzy! Is there a brand that's best? Have been brain-washed by well-meaning health visitor, who tells me that I should cook all DD's food myself. Kind of agree, but don't know if I'll be allowed to take a camping stove in my hand-luggage! A bit impractical too!

Poor you by the way with in-laws coming, how long will they be staying for?

don't worry about what HV tells you, we normally completely disregard their advice on here

inlaws coming on Fri afternoon and going on a Mon afternoon - shall not be staying in my house and anyway I'm moving in with Poppy to help with her crisis of choice that weekend

TwilightSurfer · 06/02/2009 22:46

HazieDazieandBaby · 06/02/2009 22:54

Hi TS! Thought it was safest to ask about baby food on our thread! I think one of our August girls was getting a bit of a bashing elsewhere a little while ago?

Thanks Sazzles, will look out for those.

Good plan dizzy! Not looking forward to being with MIL for the 4 days we're away, but I'll hide behind DH a lot I think!

Okay page now visable on here.

I'm not allowed to put DD pics on FB - DH has a strong wierdo vibe from FB so I don't tell him I put them on here and keep them private once you have seen them.

poppysocks · 06/02/2009 23:00

Hi TS [waves]. Think I may have missed a bereavement? If so, so sorry - in both ways! Hope all ok there. My Gran's holding on for now, but has been snowed in at the hospital with no visitors .

Hazie - I actually give DD2 a jar per week (well, she's had one so far, but I did with DD1 and intend to repeat). Reason being that it's a useful thing for them to accept such bland food , in case they need to. SiL made everything herself and was then caught in a crisis and her DD turned up her nose at a jar. I've always tended to go for Hipp or one of the better looking ones which purport to have ingredients that they can have (ie not spag bol for a 4 month old ).
