Dizzy no it was with a spanish company cos we got our residents discout. I think it was Clickair.
For all their madness the Spanish are very good with the babies.

Allezlesbluessteaknife · 13/02/2009 21:31

Well that's all from me tonight. Night all.

dizzydixies · 13/02/2009 21:34

Steaky agree completely, the spainards go daft over mine when we're there and its lovely, no glares or shooshing when you're out for a mean or judgy nods when you're out late etc

hope you have a good sleep, night

VintageChampagneAndGardenias · 13/02/2009 21:37

God this is how long it takes to do ANYTHING with a photo on my computer. No doubt the moment has passed.

VintageChampagneAndGardenias · 13/02/2009 21:38

The profile thing doesn't show but if you click my name it does.

I know it's a bit odd to put the job on the card it's only because John Mortimer died so that phrase was avaiable. And the last little bit is a play on my own name.

dizzydixies · 13/02/2009 21:39

VG thats brilliant well done you! loving the play on words too

DH now texting me so once again he's apologised (tis an exceptionally lovely bloke) and I feel like crap as it was no doubt me being all stressy and crap that started the nipping

Well dizzy if you love the old darling dig your papers out of the recycling, really it will take no time at all.

dizzydixies · 13/02/2009 21:42

so what you're saying is that you're a bunch of filthy slatterns!?!?!

I hope you mean you're getting this all done once the lodgers have gone and not before they arrive?!

TwilightSurfer · 13/02/2009 21:43

Sazzles I saved myself HALF by getting second carpeting quote.

LOL .

I doubt I will get padded card or anything. God my first boyfriend was a real padded card and balloon fellow. Dire. Padded cards the size of a pizza delivery box. The type that came in a box not an envelope. Vom vom vom.

Steaky if you can, go with BA, they were fab Dub to London, couldn't do enough for ds, and Ryanair STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN. You've done plenty of travelling with dd, I'm sure you don't need my advice!!

dizzydixies · 13/02/2009 21:46

this is why we bought leather I don't like it and can't wait to get rid of it but its a fecking godsend as I'm the kids are filthy and it can just be wiped down

I think I was worse when I lived in the flat (shall not explain why) hence the furniture didn't come here with us

VintageChampagneAndGardenias · 13/02/2009 21:50

I am with you, we have a leather sofa that I want to get rid of and replace with some elegant handupholstered antique but the years of chocolatey handprints to come put me off... just as ds1 is a reliable young man around the house now, too! oh well I'd rather have the handprints.

ours aren't supposed to eat in the living room but considering I've been trying to get DH to bring them in the front door (I had coir matting put down in the porch for all the wet/muddy shoes) and take off their outdoor shoes before they come in I've sod all chance of getting them to stop eating through here

I'd love a luxurious carpet and upholstered furniture in here but for the moment am sticking to leather and crappy laminate

dizzydixies · 13/02/2009 22:01

Dundee in the news again, nothing nice though

on the BBC 10pm news too, my old boss as well

sazz DD1 knows to do it its just DH I have a problem with but to be fair we've been coming in the kitchen door since we moved in in 2002 and its only been 2yrs

have you seen the 13yr old boy in the news who's just fathered a baby, he's just a baby himself makes me very sad

poppysocks · 13/02/2009 22:19

Evening all. Sorry to miss the chat. Again. Lovely card btw VG.

Was sidetracked into C4+1 and watching A Place in the Sun on my hometown. Was v. odd to see skuzzy areas described as 'cool' and 'upcoming' while the smart, starchy and distinctly suburban area I grew up in being described as 'boho chic' . Haven't been back for 10 years so maybe they're right...

Hmmm... sofas. Ours are 8 years old and fabric , but also a distinctly dark in colour and pattern and don't seem to show the pen/vomit/chocolate crumbs tooooo badly . Still super comfy for the endless arse-sitting/breastfeeding. Gawd bless Laura Ashley (not often you hear that ).

dizzydixies · 13/02/2009 22:21

poppy do you know the factory in dundee sells laura ashley and Markies fabrics at knock down prices? just incase you ever need anything

forgot to say Dylan back to full smiley quota and much the same as she was with E on Wed she was delighted with my friends DS who is 9months old today

was going to post photos of girls playing in the snow but have left camera at friends house - am hopeless!
