Sazzles Mr Sazzles is going to have to sleep on the couch I'm afraid...

Cyteen Your poor things. Assume you've tried Calpol and baby Nurofen? (it's safe to use both in one night.)

LoveBuckets · 09/02/2009 21:17

Or actually could you start off in her bed with her?

Bedtime here I think, got some catching up to do from last night, and tonight not looking too promising either

Cyteen and Sazzles I hope your DC feel better very soon and you have a restful night.

HazieDazieandBaby · 09/02/2009 21:41

Hi girls, hope everyone?s having a relatively quiet evening!

Ouch AnnVan! Sounds painful, hope you managed to get your feet up for a while.

Sorry to hear about eveything that you're going through with your dsis CC. Hope a breakthrough happens soon.

Cyteen I had a nightmare few days with Gabriella a few weeks ago when her bottom teeth came in, although I had no idea what was wrong with her at the time. She was up every hour and cried whenever she was awake, I couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. I felt totally useless as I thought that, as her mum, I should know what was wrong with her. I felt so bad when her teeth came through as it seemed so obvious afterwards The level of upset seemed to peak the day before her teeth broke through. Hopefully I'll be more prepared next time. Fingers crossed that a little tooth appears for Joe soon!

Steaky I'll join the others in saying that I love your wedding dress too! It's gorgeous! I also like the other dresses that you were considering too. I like Buckets' idea of seeing others wedding dresses too - I'm so nosey, sorry!! Think a pic of mine is on my profile already.

It was me asking about the toast and ricecakes Sazzles. I tried a ricecake today (I was freaking out though and watched every move she made!)but she didn't seem to bothered about it. There were a few bits chewed off so I assume they went down, unless the dog is helping her out!

Sazzles here's a space heater and some blankets. Too cold over there for me.

Flood corrected. Yanked the line at the filter when moving the fridge. Flooded my rag basket area under my sink. Perfect area to flood!

Dh bringing home dinner since I'm too pooped to cook.

Sibh · 10/02/2009 08:08

Morning all.

Sibh · 10/02/2009 08:26

Sazzles -- that reminds me of when I lived in Headingley in Leeds with the cricket ground at the end of the road. We got personalised weather reports all summer and our washing never got wet.

Apologies for the totally random use of caps in the last post.

Mmmm thanks Sibh

Am in need of a hearty breakfast after another night with not very much sleep. I ended up downstairs at 5.15am with DS who had coughed and sneezed himself wide awake. Put him in his pram so I could rock him and put on his womb noise really loudly, think it took about half an hour to get him back to sleep then I managed an hour on the sofa . So it feels like I have a nest of flies in my head this morning.

Sazzles are you snowed in again? Or has it turned to rain and threatening to wash you away? I hope your DD and Cyteen's DS slept OK in the end

hotterpotter · 10/02/2009 08:49

X-post Sazz, glad you're all OK

I must admit to never sterilising, just washing everything well in v hot water and leaving to air dry. If you have a dishwasher I think that's sufficient to get the stuff clean. DS has taken to rolling towards DH's mucky trainers and sucking them , either that or his pram wheels , so he is certainly getting plenty of germs!

Allezlesbluessteaknife · 10/02/2009 08:56

sibh - thanks for brekkers.

hp - blimey I lived in Wakey for 3 years at uni and never knew about Sandal Castle. Bloody chilly up there.

Izzy not impressed with DofY, much prefers heads, shoulders, knees and toes.
She slept till 8.30 this am, with just a feed at midnight and at 5. So I mangaged to snooze till 8am, despite DHs alarm which sounds like a submarine. Feel 99.9% human.

hotterpotter · 10/02/2009 09:00

Wow Steaky, briefly a Wakey lass! Whereabouts did you live? I'd much rather live in the Alps too . I forgot to say yesterday, your wedding dress looked beautiful, you are obviously very clever.

Allezlesbluessteaknife · 10/02/2009 09:11

hottypotty - I studied at the now defunk Bretton Hall, I lived in college for the first term and then moved out to Wakey itself, right near one of the rubgy grounds.
In my final year I lived in Kettlethorpe or maybe Crigglestone - it was a long time ago, so I can't remember without looking it up.

Expectant · 10/02/2009 09:17

HP my Grandparents (and Dad) lived in Sandal for a very long time (Roger Drive then Lovaine Grove I think). Used to walk to the castle from their house when we went up there some weekends.

hotterpotter · 10/02/2009 09:33

Flipping heck it's a small world! Sadly I do not live in Sandal, rather the scruffy dirty poor bit next to it! In fact I can see the rugby league ground floodlights and hear their 'entertainment' from my house. We have the dubious pleasure of George Sampson from Britain's got Talent coming next weekend to annoy the crowd; better keep the windows/doors closed that day .

Steaky you probably saw Sandal Castle hundreds of times as you can see it well on the way to Bretton, it's just a big hill really!

Allezlesbluessteaknife · 10/02/2009 09:40

If it is on the 484 busroute I probably did. I did do my touristic duty and go to
Holmfirth, last of the summer wine land, and to Haworth, home of the Brontes while I was there.
And rather less culturally have spent one or two friday nights in Rooftop Gardens.
