Hurrah! I got O to drink 2oz of EBM in a spouty bottle today. I kind of poured it in rather than him sucking it BUT a success is a success none the less

god bless neurofen, eyes drops in, dirty nappy and she's a different child - not holding out much hope for tonight though [meep] so will leave and catch up tomorrow

Jolly good news Captain. Sorry about all the non-sleeping folk. I'm getting to sleep through but having horrible day time hours with DD1! So I'll trade with ANYONE.

I am off to the grumbling, miserable, fNOTGOODparenting corner.

nice non-swish ann.

vg I can't find a good website to link to (with a short link as I have to remember it as can't cut and paste for some reason) but I got mine from John Lewis. Basically 'research' has shown that babies who sleep on sheepskins settle more easily, sleep better and cry less. It is basically a lambskin that goes in the cot and I also have a shaped one that fits in the buggy. They retain moisture in the Summer and keep babies warm in the Winter so an all round Good Thing. And imo they work.

If you google 'sheepskin for baby to sleep on' or similar you will find some....

CaptainCaveman · 05/02/2009 20:03

Sorry to hear about Dylan being poorly dizzy but threqing up is MUCH worse than throwing up, so am glad it was the latter

VG sounds like conjunctivits, gp will know for sure (obv!)

Dh and I are being VERY brave and we are going to attempt to go to the pub. Mum is over so will sit for the boys. I think we can battle our way along the snowy pavements .

Oh dear, I made ds1 cry today. We all walked down to Tesco and on the way back he was hiding behind a tree. I crept up on him with a LARGE snowball and just as i chucked it at him he turned round so it pelted him full in the face . Oops. He cried that it hurt his eyes

No house news yet, only that those who have seen it so far don't want to buy it . 2 more viewings booked though so keep on praying

AnnVan · 05/02/2009 20:03

VG glad it's not just me getting annoyed by 'that baby'.

Sympathies and kisses to the poorly babes.

I will get DP to take a pic when he gets home. He still doesn't know - I'm going to surprise him. VG - as for a description, the lady in the shop said 'where's all your hair gone?' should give you a fair idea

CaptainCaveman · 05/02/2009 20:09

Loving your new 'do' Ann, tis beautiful

O seems under the weather again this evening - possibly a lurgey picked up from nursery yesterday. Dosed up with calpol and praying it's just a temp.

Miamla · 05/02/2009 20:10

ooh sazzles!!! you're evil!!!

cc well done with O and his bottle

TwilightSurfer · 05/02/2009 20:10

I am one second away from finding someone to keep dd1 while we go to the beach next month. I HAVE HAD IT! She's an angel for everyone BUT ME supposedly.

Those eye descriptions both sound conjuctive-eyeTISSY to me. Sorry {{{HUGS}}}

Pardon me I had to step away. Reese was being attacked by a stuffed dog.

Now off to attempt, for the 100th time today, the unthinkable......DD1 pick up YOUR ROOM!!!!!!!!!!
