Well done MrDisney

Meat - well I don't eat it (too many years in food industry plus I don't like the taste) DD1 complete carnivore, DD2 not that keen. I will explain to them when the time comes where it comes from and let them choose they are too young right now

Odd socks - bane of my life, having 3 girls close in age means theres always lots of little socks everywhere, every so often I have a clear out and through out oddies but they breed again.

Jodie - well done you and DS

Poledra - you poor thing hope you feel better soon x

Hope everyone else is OK best be off I am being summoned

disneystar · 12/03/2009 21:06

sorry meant to say i hope you feel better soon poledra and its just a few days not months for you
i think i was too worried about the test i read posts and kinda skimmed

disneystar · 13/03/2009 07:23

good morning ladies, im so tired today what the heck is sleep anymore !!!!
i have to ring the hospital today and cancel samuels cat scan and GA hes too unwell
got another chest infection and is needing assistance with breathing again.
its such a horrible thing to see i have to really hold the mask over him and he looks at me as if im killing him,i hope he gets used to the fact soon and realises im helping him.

pigley remember i said mums and daughters different generation thing to you, well what do i know
had a conversation with my dd (23 today) she is feeding her dd 13 weeks food and juice, she asked me if it was ok and i said well no hannah i dont advise it but shes your baby hun.
i told her we waited as long as possible and she really wanted to blw but has succumbed to the tempting lure of the jars....

i dont have any prob with jars but 13 weeks is too young imo i thin you guys will agree.

so its a different issue here its my dd who does things the old fashioned way and i dont.
crazy old world we live in here.

pigleychez · 13/03/2009 09:29

Good Morning all, And a good morning it is... again Abigail had a fab night. Went to bed at 8 woke at 3.30! fed then off again till 7! Brilliant.. Even more brilliant that DH did the feed! A whole night in bed!

Thanks for all the comments about my mum. She rang me yesterday and was chatting as if nothing ever happened- odd woman!!

Ponto- Glad you didnt poison everyone

Poledra - oh poor you! Hope you feel better soon!

Jodie- Well done you!! Def a proud mummy moment. My mum used to make the most elaborate of costumes for dressing up days at school and to be honest im quite looking forward to doing the same for Abigail. I have a variety of costumes that ive made myself whilst being at nursery and dressing up with the kids Im a big kid myself!

Disney- Well done Mr Disney. Hope things improve for you all now and he gets settled into a new job

Hope poor little Sam improves soon

We are off to our friends today for a play with her July baby DD too. Then off to the party shop to get DH a heluim balloon from Abigail for his birthdy on Monday. Hes trying to forget it though as hes turning 30!
We have a big family get together on Sunday. A meal at a posh country house then a party at the InLaws house. Been a nightmare to organise as so far its all a suprise to him.

disneystar · 13/03/2009 10:51

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 13/03/2009 11:44

Disney it was 3 weeks ago, but was very light (I had a 'period' when first PG with DS1 too) My eriods are usually quite heavy and last 5-7 days, this one was light and lasted 3 days......

JODIEhadtoomanymincepies · 13/03/2009 11:45

I;m being really silly.......

Mummywannabe · 13/03/2009 11:46

Will catch up later - promise

Quick post (supposed to be working!) but finally got an answer to Max's chest and wheezing. Being treated for asthma (know they do not diagnose under 2's but doctor sort of said it was). Actually relieved as i knew his breathing hasn't been right for some time and i think everyone (In RL!) thought i was neurotic!

Poor little man, still at least we can help him now. If anyone has any top tips or experience they can share i'd be very grateful.

disneystar · 13/03/2009 11:54

jodie your not being silly at all i also had a period with most of mine at the beginning a light nothing to worry about one

M2L When is your next scan? Are you going to find out the sex?

disneystar · 13/03/2009 13:02

how many weeks are you now M2L?

sams just a had a huge nap from 10am just had his lunch and hes wheezing like mad here.
just spoke to virgin atlantic about our flights as we need to transfer them,
got to wait for them to call me back now....

sweetkitty · 13/03/2009 15:42

Afternoon all just having 10 mins MNing whilst big two play, we have tooth number 4 here now too. Sleep still hit and miss well the number of times she wakes is about the same but she is feed and straight back to sleep so not too disturbing.

Disney - sorry to hear Sam isn't well, hope he improves soon

M2L - definitely won't be me joining you, I haven't had any periods yet either

Jodie - are you relieved or a little bit too?

Mummywannabee - poor little Max, still at least he has a diagnosis now

Pigley - on the good nights sleep, you will be flying today, Happy Birthday to your DH too, for my DP's 30th we went to New York I was 7 months pregnant with DD1 as well, this obviously was preDDs so we had money to spend and it was our last child free holiday. Would love to go back one day, DP is always hinting at doing the marathon.

Speaking of which if anyone would like to sponsor him here's the link and Jodie/Disney if you post your fundraising links I will sponsor you both too he's off doing a 22 mile run this weekend as part of his training, I had to buy him Jelly Babies today and hide them.

London Marathon

pigleychez · 13/03/2009 15:50

Just bought DH a helium balloon from Abigail. Its so sweet and has a personalised message written on it in a sparkly pen.. "Happy 30th Daddy" on one side and "Love Abigail x" on the back. Bless! Just hidden it away in a box for him to open on Monday

Loving the new smilies!

Jodie and Disney But I have also been thinking the same myself! Worries over now but I couldnt remember when my last period was and it seemed ages ago and too been having tummy ache alot so it was in the back of my mind- Def not though!

Mummy- Hope Max improves now! Hows it going being back at Nursery?

Ambulances seem to be following me around today. There was one called for the neighbours little girl this morning. Not sure what was going on but it wasnt blues and 2's and they didnt look in a rush so cant of been too bad. They left without taking the girl.
Then at the parade of shops there was an ambulance and police car.. lots of people milling about but again no idea what was going on. Think I had missed the incident- I miss all the good bits!

sweetkitty · 13/03/2009 16:12

Aww that's so sweet Pigley he will love i, Abigail will love it too she will spend hours gazing at it

Poledra · 13/03/2009 16:23

Well, the joint pain moved into my shoulders and fingers last night and I couldn't sleep for the pain. I needed to wake DH to get him to move Orlaith onto my other side at one point as I just didn't have the strength in my hands to do it. My hands were all swollen too. So I trotted off to the GP this morning and got some anti-inflammatories, and she ordered some blood tests to check it's not anything serious (it could be something like rheumatoid arthritis but hopefully not). Can't type for too long as my hands are sore. So hi to everyone, hope you all have a lovely weekend - I'll type more once the drugs kick in

disneystar · 13/03/2009 16:25

call me crazy but if samuel was ok and healthy i would of had another baby, i know 8 is a bit much but i just love children, i like being pregnant and im really going to miss it. so it wont be me joining you M2L im afraid, also gp has been talking about me having a hysterectomy as im losing too much during a period and very low iron now, plus other things, dont think my old heart would take the strain now.
ive had children since 1984 when my firstborn keith died at birth
then 1986
1988
1991
2000
2001
2003 she died at 26 weeks pregnant
2004
2008
so ive think ive done my lot now.
would you agree??

dh just rang hes going to be very late, typical .....hes still way past leicester and were in gloucester
wheres my take away menu.....or rather menus

disneystar · 13/03/2009 16:28
