Here we are, finally made it to another thread.

Congratulations Sponge, that's exciting! How do you feel? Rotten?

Auntgriselda, Hasan is feeding loads! Usually wakes at 5.30 for leisurely breakfast, then mid morning snack, afters for lunch, mid afternoon snack, afters for tea, supper, evening snack, midnight snack. Ooh he's a so and so.

When I tried to cut him down he became more demanding at night He really howls if I turn him down So I haven't the heart turn him down (for now - am a softy walkover!)
The thing is I'm available and on tap all day and all night.
I'm resigned to going cold turkey because I think if I try to do it gradually it will prolong the agony. At the moment he eats well but not alot.
Once I stop he'll eat loads like his brother I think.

But keeping going until he is two if I can.

Still co sleeping with Hasan and ds2. They cuddle up together -very cute. I'm planning to eventually relocate to my own bed in the next few months too.

Cor really can't imagine having another little one now

No idea what to get him for Christmas......

it's so complicated .

SuperSillyus · 15/01/2009 07:39

When I first joined FB I joined the northern Ireland network and I didn't realise that all the NI network could see my profile unless I changed my privacy settings...until I started getting messaged by a man living nearby trying to give me advice about my marriage he asked me to be friends and I actually told him that I didn't feel comfortable adding him...and rushed off to change my settings

I didn't get a notice about Muppet removing me as a friend.

Mygreataunt it's that sexy picture you put up and your exsquisite colouring! You're a siren.

OP posts:
mygreatauntgriselda · 15/01/2009 09:25

LOL - yeah for overweight bald Lebanese men!!

Callieco · 16/01/2009 13:34

Kiwi, you don't get notified if you get deleted/delete someone as a friend. I don't think they send a message if you ignore someone's request either, but I'm not 100% certain about it.

Is Sazzy's real name Sarah something? I'll have a look through your friends, Aunt G.

kiwibella · 16/01/2009 14:03

I think Spicemonster is sarah... but maybe she was sazzy before that?

I have seen spicemonster about on mn.

mygreatauntgriselda · 16/01/2009 17:54

yes she is SB - I hope no message gets sent if you ignore someone's request as I clicked ignore the other day _ a guy at work was stalking me (he wants to work for me and keeps following me round all the time, then sent me a FB request - Eeeek)

I googled that Lebanese guy - he's perfectly Kosha actually -but I really do not know him so will just ignore I think. He seems to be confusing me with someone more educated and rich LOL!!

Hope everyone is OK - quiet on here but noisey on FB

SuperSillyus · 17/01/2009 10:01

mygreataunt you're definately a siren!

I am throwing out to charity shop one ton of obsolete toys today. And sorting sorting sorting.

ds2 is learning to be more assertive with the others which is good (in a way ) But oh boy the constant bickering, slagging and arguing in this house is mad....and that's just me and dh

Life is so tiring! By the end of the day I am a total wreckage.

Hasan is getting less and less babyish and more and more boyish every day.
oops, he has just appeared with the nutfree chocolate spread and it's all over his face and two hands and he's just out of the bath all clean too! Argh!

mygreatauntgriselda · 17/01/2009 14:26

Super you mad house sounds just like our ad house.

DS2 is learning saxaphone at school and has brought it home to practice - we have culture in the house!!!

mygreatauntgriselda · 17/01/2009 14:33

meant DS1!!

SuperSillyus · 18/01/2009 09:02

oh cool, I'd love one of my beasties to play saxophone!

Right you still bf ladies, have any of you had a blocked boob recently.? Can't believe I have,. Thought I was done with all that.
Just goes to show how much the little tyke is still chomping away. I worked that by 11am today he'd demanded "hum"( and got it) 4 times, but of course asked for it many. many more times than that.

I give in too easily I know.

SuperSillyus · 19/01/2009 15:07

No blocked boobs here but much sympathy. Hasan calls it 'my' and also demands alot and I don't tend to refuse cuz if I do he hits me which I think is funny while my mother thinks he's spoilt.

He comes and tells me he has 'done poos' and then he runs away so I have to chase him.

Still cosleeping. I am hoping to wean him in a few months and move back to my own bed. But change involves effort and I can't be bothered yet!

LunarSea · 19/01/2009 21:21

Toby calls it "in there". As in "lift your top up and let me in there"!

Piffle · 19/01/2009 21:27

kiwi you are nearly driveable we should do meet?
I pop to peterboro all the time!!!!

kiwibella · 20/01/2009 12:47

poor Kitty - ow! I hope that you are feeling better and milk is flowing as it should.

Lunar.. that's so funny. The forceful scrambling in to mum's tops is amusing / embarrasing. Great to see you back too - how are you babies doing?

Kate says 'kai-kai'. Kai is the maori word for food. She actually calls breasts / nipples kai-kai... doesn't matter if they are on a male, female, or toy . I think I will dry up (does that eventually happen??) before she gives up.

Piffle... yes pleez!!!! I'm half an hour from Peterborough.

We have had my mother over which was not as pleasant as we expected. She suggested that Kate could have ADHD. My sister and I have been trying to work out words to fit each of those letters that really suit my child. Mum is safely back on her plane... sadly, it reinforces to my sis and I why we are a gazillion miles away from home .

Piffle · 20/01/2009 12:50

kiwi mum said that about Finn yesterday
I was explaining why he crams a whole moon biscuit in his mouth at once, so it leaves his hands free to keep doing "important stuff"
She said oh he is very hyperactive wonder is he adhd

no way just very physical, unlike his two siblings
yes I am about 40mins from peterboro too

kiwibella · 20/01/2009 13:03

well then Piffle... you say where and when . I'll facebook you my number.

catweazle · 20/01/2009 18:14

Very of this meet....

kiwi, sorry your mum's visit wasn't too good. I look forward to seeing mine then spend the whole visit growling under my breath.

We've had the ADHD conversation, but DS2 (19) has it so is looking for "signs" in his little sis. The lack of sleeping/ constant eating are scarily reminiscent of him as a toddler, so who knows?

kitty hope you're Ok now.

I think the rummaging about in my shirt is the most annoying thing of extended BF. I seem to spend my time saying to her to leave it and I'll get it out thanks

kittywise · 21/01/2009 07:01

kiwi thanks I am better now. How awful that your mum said that to you. Nothing like a bit of parental support is there?

How funny i have a 'kai'!

lunar nice to hear from you, glad I'm not the only one with a top lifter. Perhaps yo could hide other things in there, give him a bit of a challenge

catweazle hope you're well

SS, that does conjure up funny images, you giving in to threats and meanaces. You're a battered mother.

I've been on a thread about some poor reverand who's been verbally, viciously attacked on a thread by a bunch of these moldie people. The whole thing is quite horrific. I do wonder what MN has come to.
It's a dangerous thing when a group of people are only interested in hearing hearing voices that agree with them.
Must say that whole idea of a bunch of women doing that makes my flesh creep.
I think they should just bugger off.

SuperSillyus · 21/01/2009 13:10

I'm on that thread too Kitty, I always end up on the same threads as the rev, think she's great and don't understand how anyone could have doubted her if they read her posts. Mumsnet is mad sometimes!

Hasan has taken to emptying the dirty washing on the floor so he can take the container to the sink, turn it upside down, stand on it and do the dishes He's so helpfull

OP posts:
Piffle · 21/01/2009 13:36

kitty I am a moldie and I love the REv

SuperSillyus · 21/01/2009 14:51

Yeah Piffle she's lovely isn't she? I loved her input on the Gaza threads.

OP posts:
Piffle · 21/01/2009 15:06

yes she is so interesting dammit!

Heathcliffscathy · 21/01/2009 15:07
