PJ thanks, sorry no idea who your ear rings /hat are from, any news re your mum and L sleeping in the afternoon. PJ choose a method and stick with it Are we going to be TTC buddies pink as you have such lovely baby paraphernalia to use now? Don't forget running bra PJ as you don't want black eyes for CP

12YG Cheers how is the decluttering going? Has DH gone off skiing?

TSM thanks, G is a serial climber, he has been trying to throw himself off the back of the sofa for months and finally succeeded on Sunday. Cue me panicking he had broken his neck, got concussion, etc etc etc. Turned out he had a bruise head and ego. Still trying to do it again though. DOH Do you fancy joining PJ and I TTC?

AM thanks for the hugs, congratulations, had spotted you on the due in September thread during my brief foray over there. Your secret was safe with me. Hopefully will get on the October/November thread. DD due her MMR booster and G due his first one. I will have a look at your questionnaire if you like. Oh Am I feel for you, whilst at CP over new year DD locked her and G in the changing cubicle whilst I was unloading the locker, cue me shouting hysterically until she let me back in. Tis just a phase tis just a phase. Don't think can make CP as would want to go as family to be honest and DH would feel out of place with you and PJ being DHless. Men huh. Would love to come and visit though if you are agreeable to that. I have some day passes I could send you. Is anyone else planning a day visit to meet you and PJ?

MKG thanks, how is the food diary coming along, hope the kids are feeling better.

MJB Thanks, what wallpaper did you choose? How was the duck feet apt is all okay?

TMAM thanks, I have received my SS it was lovely thank you for organising. Glad you enjoyed your yoga girly weekend. How is the climbing going? Hope your curry did not give you dodgy tummy.

LG&T thanks, at least I know I am ovulating, just panic now if cervix has withstood multiple pregnancy with polyhydramnios. re numpty XDP Go LG&T sending positive baby vibes your way. And breathe, don't know what advice I can offer you with you being the birthing guru and all. Hope it is going okay for you.

Elkie thanks, how you doing?

SKYTV thanks, I'm afraid you need really saggy old norks to feed yourself [proud saggy nork emoticon] Not sure if that is something to be proud of really. P'raps should invest in new bras. Have lost almost 3 stone now since Nov 07 probably should be time for new undies. Is DD feeling any better?

Jam thanks, 10lb well done L, must be feeding him good stuff. , well done on the sleep make up and hair you look smashing. Well don on the weight loss as well.

SOH thanks, hope M is feeling better now, I just hate it when they are ill. Sorry I missed your birthday. Any advice on how to get the last bit of lump out of my mastitised breast? I have been expressing and tryi9ng to feed G more and GP has given me another week on antibiotics. Still feels like a lego brick under my boob. G moves the furniture round to climb, he drives me mad. DH has a running machine which I really must get using, have just felt so crappy with mastitis /MC/chest infection. Will get cracking and start running. I promise. No giving up on the book.

Thanks Scoot, go for the other job at least it will be practice for the dream job when it comes up and anything to ease the commute has got to help.

Okay here I go Deep breath.

MY name is Charleymouse and I now weigh 11 st 12.5 lbs. If you say it quick does not seem so bad honest. Considering I went up to almost 15 just after having boys am quite proud of myself although I know there is still room for improvement as want to get to get to weight I got married at in 2000 next , so next target is 11st. I will be wasting away can't believe I was such a biffa to be honest

Hope you are all okay

Hi Anne, Abbey, FLF, lillaura and anyone I have missed off.

charleymouse · 16/01/2009 11:52

Oh bless me May 07ers for I have sinned.

On Wednesday night I got the hair clippers and gave G a number 6 all over.

He doesn't look like a baby anymore, he looks like a little boy. What have I done? I have saved a dustpan of golden curls. DH hates longer hair on boys and it was curling over his collar and he wanted it cut so I succumbed. After I had done it he then proceeded to tell me it was only the back that needed cutting. FFS I am not a hairdesser, it is all over with clippers or nothing TBH. Now I am peeved although he does look quite cute if a little rough.

NimChimpsky · 16/01/2009 11:56

charley, I've never got rid of a lump through expressing. It always made it worse. I think because it's not as effective as a baby/child feeding then it just tricks you into making excess milk when you're already blocked, it doesn't actually work at shifting the blockage iyswim. I find what works better is warm compresses or a bath or shower head directed at the area and lots and lots and lots of feeding on that side, massaging the lump gently as you go. I've never tried the combing thing but others swear by it. Take a good anti-inflammatory as well as antibiotics as swelling in the general area from expressing/infection doesn't help. You could try getting dd to try and clear it if she's still interested. I'm sorry love. Mastitis is such a horrid thing. Have missed you round these parts recently.

Anyway, beautiful day.

NimChimpsky · 16/01/2009 11:57

Oh charley. Remember when Hugs had an unscheduled hair cut? It grew back and is still lovely. G's will grow again. I like longer hair on boys.

MmeJaffaB · 16/01/2009 12:02

at a little rough CM

Well done on your weight loss.

J's feet are fine, it's luckily not the feet but the whole leg, it's from sleeping on her tummy as a tiny baby (norty mummy). They will correct them self in time as the muscles strengthen apparently. The consultant was very sweet with her, in a very awful english/french accent her said to her "Ah Jorja, you walk like Charley Chaplin" Chose a brown and cream stripey number for the walls. It's a very low ceiling in there so hoping the horizontal stipes will help.

MmeJaffaB · 16/01/2009 12:03

Ahhhhhhhhhhh so we guessed you'd know Nim! At least I can stop worrying the grins are obviously a good sign.

charleymouse · 16/01/2009 12:04

Cheers Nim, thank you, DD is interested but to much like hard work and wants the other side instead

What anti-inflammatory is safe to take? What do you recommend?

What is combing? Have not come across this one. Can express the butter like stuff out when in red hot bath and boob underwater but do not have much luck anywhere else. It kind of snakes out like a long squidgy spot. Sorry if TMI. Not much good when at work all day TBH.

Go Gin Go Gin Go Gin

NimChimpsky · 16/01/2009 12:04

I'm allowed to tell you which is good as I can't sit on my hands any longer...

Joshina Patchouli Summer Gin was born this morning at 7.25am and weighs 27lb.

Well that's the right time at least.

AprilMeadow · 16/01/2009 12:06

LOL NC

charleymouse · 16/01/2009 12:08

Yes beautiful day for having a baby.

Will post a pic of G over the weekend. If he is like DH he will have a full head of hair in 10 days so hopefully not to much to worry about.

MJB glad all will be well with J, sounds nice paper.

NimChimpsky · 16/01/2009 12:10

Charlie you can use a wide toothed comb to rake gently over the area towards the nipple. It breaks the lump up. Once that string of buttery blockage stuff comes out is there any way you can put G straight on and let him work at the rest? I used to get stuck in that cycle of getting the first curdled bit out and then not clearing the rest and it would go lumpy again. Bloody horrific. Ibuprofen is fine but if you're very swollen or sore ask the gp to prescribe something like diclofenac.

Shall I be honest about my weight? I was 11st 5lbs last March. Have lost 2 stones. No diet. Just exercise. Want to lose about 5lbs more.

MmeJaffaB · 16/01/2009 12:11

Thanks Nim, glad everything is OK.

NimChimpsky · 16/01/2009 12:12

She was 9lb 5ozs by the way. Gin's a trooper, 'hellish' was the word she used. Feeds very well by all accounts.

India Rose.

AprilMeadow · 16/01/2009 12:12

WOW NC thats really great! You and me are the same weight then

Is all ok in the house of Gin?
