Wow AM, Really? How exciting...... Congratulations!!

MmeJaffaB · 14/01/2009 20:48

lg&t, what a numpty, poor twins. Sensible lads to know where they were in the end though.
I hope he Mans up and does his duties better, you don't need to go to court.

htfeck, do you get the time alone for a dh sweep? Do you sit them all round the table with a big bowl of goodies to keep them amused. Or did you you shove them all in that big cupboard again?

Nim, I'm holding you to that gold sticker, you'll just HAVE to stick around to present it now!

AprilMeadow · 14/01/2009 20:59

LG&T i am truely at what the twins Dad did! How irresponsible of him.

NimChimpsky · 14/01/2009 21:26

LG&T he's a cock.

AM, a baby, well I never

Hope it's sinking in now.

MKG · 14/01/2009 21:50

Thank God you said something AM: I was afraid I would spill the beans.

Tillyscoutsmum · 14/01/2009 22:02

LG&T - just to add to the cock comments... just what you don't need right now Hope he sorts himself out

elkiedee · 14/01/2009 23:43

Congratulations AM

LGT at twins' dad

MKG · 15/01/2009 00:18

LG&T--try not to worry about the Twins' dad too much. Just chop his balls off and all will be fine

Themasterandmargaritas · 15/01/2009 05:25

Wow April, what a surprise! Many congratulations.

That is so irresponsible LG&T I can't believe he did that. Numpty. How are you feeling this morning? Love the DIY sweep. Nothing like getting all romantic with your man.

NimChimpsky · 15/01/2009 05:27

If a DIY sweep is what passes for romantic these days then I'm out of touch with modern sexual practice.

Themasterandmargaritas · 15/01/2009 06:06

Lordy you are up a bit early....

largeginandtonic · 15/01/2009 08:27

AM i am and Fabulous news. The sickness is a good sign but i remember how yuk it is so full sympathy. My best friend is pregnant too and is sipping coke in the morning and retching her way through the day. It is no fun but you get a BABY at the end of it

The DIY sweep clearly did nothing, well i did have a show. Only clear jelly none of the hard bloody stuff though. I then (to top it all off) demanded sex He just looked at me horrified. He did 'man up' though and perform his manly duties. He left the bedroom sharpish though and headed for the bathroom Shame, still needs must am i right ladies?!

Thursday today...

Pinkjenny · 15/01/2009 09:28

AM - Congratulations, what a HUGE surprise! (This reminds me of the bit in Friends where Ross tells them he's having a boy and Chandler and Joey look at each other and say, 'Yay! We already knew that!' )

SKYTVADDICT · 15/01/2009 10:24

Many congrats AM. Was lurking over new year and did wonder if you ever tested but was too polite to ask .

DD2 proving a bit of a problem as she wont eat. Not eaten sice sunday and been on antibiotics since tuesday for possible infection. Keeps being sick because not eating and not eating because throat sore - aaaargh, give me strength.

Callum at cm today as being housebound wasnt fair to him.

Come on baby gin xxxx

AprilMeadow · 15/01/2009 15:16

LOL ladies - no one will ever guess which of you knew the secret

Not feeling too hot today, the waves of bleugh are more often. Oh well i guess i shouldnt grumble - it could be worse.....

Come on baby Gin! today is THE day, its a Thursday, you cant break the cycle!

MKG · 15/01/2009 15:41

Hi everyone. I am having a lot of fun with this gestational diabetes thing I have to admit it. I'm enjoying testing my blood, and I'm keeping a journal as todays fasting and after breakfast readings were high. I'm just very fascinated as how the body reacts to different foods, which I knew it did, but I never really thought about the rhyme and reason before.

Baby tonic will be born next week on a snowy night, that is my prediction.

MmeJaffaB · 15/01/2009 17:00

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh AM but we are good at keeping them whilst we need to, even if it KILLS us. Sorry you are feeling rough.

AprilMeadow · 15/01/2009 17:32

PInk, please can you email/text me your car details (make, model reg) as i need to fill in our CP details

largeginandtonic · 15/01/2009 18:26

I have been to Sainsbos, picked dh up from work, made 14 thousand cookies, baked a vege lasgane and walked to school.

I nearly had to phone dh to get me! Have been having horrendous pains on my cervix. Really hurt and could not have spoken to someone while they were there. Came home in near collapse, assume they are doing something. I also have random back ache, left side only! Bizzare. Please let this mean she is coming tonight.

AM think of the gorgeous baby i can't wait

MKG glad to see you put a positive spin on the GD, what have you noticed about the food? Am interested.

largeginandtonic · 15/01/2009 18:27

Sky poor dd, sounds like a viscious circle. Try her on smoothies of any kind and soup. She must be knackered

Themasterandmargaritas · 15/01/2009 18:58

Oh Sky, poor you and dd, how miserable. Smoothies sound like a good option. Fingers crossed.

So, MKG no chocolate then??

Gin lady, sounds like tonight could be the night. . It might make April forget how rough she is feeling ((hugs to you April)). Sending you one of Kenya's finest Del Monte pineapples to help you on your way. I'm off to bed, but will be back around 4 your time to help rub your back.

MmeJaffaB · 15/01/2009 19:12

Thanks for the link to the bupa site PJ, have just had a good look at it. Reminds me of being at guide camp.... we always did "scouts pace" run one, walk one etc...whilst finding a suitable fag stop rescuing a wounded stuffed toy from the woods. I'm going to try the principle, not sure I can manage the set days time wise but will try to do 3 times a week and have rest days. Starting in the morning........

wish me luck

Not much of Thursday left baby gin, stop bouncing on Mummys cervix and come and meet her.

largeginandtonic · 16/01/2009 05:51

baby coming, midwife on way. Every 2 mins.

FUCK IT HURTS.

Themasterandmargaritas · 16/01/2009 06:54

MmeJaffaB · 16/01/2009 07:34
