Pillock - please give Caz my love x

going to take advantage of peace and quiet, and have some hot toast, all to myself and a full hot cup of tea

x

Reindeerhabbit · 04/12/2008 12:19

just seeing if I've changed my name

seXMASonlegs · 04/12/2008 12:58

God, poor Caz and M Thanks POTC for keeping us updated.

Hi Runny, long time no see. Love the name change!

No coughing last night - HURRRAH!!!!!!!!!!

Have taken the day off myself though. My throat feels peculiar - not sore, but just feels kind of swollen and odd when I swallow

Have sent B back to school as well, as her temp was fine. Think she is probably still a bit under the weather, but not enough to be at home [slightly guilty]

Going to spend the afternoon wrapping presents before anyone finds them!

Hope everyone is ok. xx

OnceAPillockNowAnAngel · 04/12/2008 16:18

runny - J started like that several weeks ago, was coughing all night but fine in the day. He's still not right but did sleep properly last night.
We're off to see the christmas lights in a little while, I must be mad!

CaptainDippy · 04/12/2008 18:41

Hurrah forn o coughing SOL Hope it continues ....

Give more love to Caz, please Pillock Hoping she comes off the oxygen soon - having been through it myself, I have heaps of sympathy for them. xx

oooggs · 04/12/2008 20:22

ok things have got worse

but before I start - huge hugs to Molly and hope she is home soon

I am poorly - I haven't got time my gums are swollen, I have huge spots on my tongue (about 8) and uslers on the insides of my lips - I look like botox has gone wrong.

I was shivering uncontrolablly last night and was freezing with a temp. Rang NHS direct - great advise there so took myself to drs this morning (dh took day off to sort out dcs & builders) managed to give the receptionist my name and fainted at the desk.

I have a mess of a mouth, low bp, dizziness and am just generally run down and exhausted. Spent to day in bed (and slept through the builders noise ) struggling to eat due to pain but managing small and often for the babys sake - if it wasn't for the baby I could recommend it as a good diet

Work are loving me being off sick again, I finish two weeks today!!

MavYourselfAMerryLittleXmas · 04/12/2008 20:27

Caz - am thinking of you and m and sorry you are going through this, hope she is home very very soon xx

Great news for nutty congrats nutty!

Sympathies re. coughing kids though lately in this house it´s me keeping everyone else awake snotty noses all round..

We´re off to Scotland tomorrow, yay! POTC have you booked flights? I have sent GMM a message on fb with my contact numbers so we can all hook up as not sure me MNing all day would go down too well with my friends while I´m at theirs!

Not looking forward to the cold!! but yay to holidays!

AngeGabriel · 04/12/2008 20:28

SOL - Hurray to no coughing last night.

POTC - Glad J slept better last night. Hope it continues. Please pass on my love to Caz. Hope little M is home soon.

Runny - Hope you enjoyed the hot toast

oooggs - Sorry you're having a hard time. Sounds like you need to give up work sooner rather than later. You certainly have a lot going on atm. Thinking of you and hope you're better soon. xx

AngeGabriel · 04/12/2008 20:29

X posts Mav. Hope you all have a great time in Scotland. I'm very of the meet up.

StealthPolarBear · 04/12/2008 20:38

oooggs souds like you finishing can't come soon enough so it's one less thing to stress about
Will the DTs still be going to nursery? Sounds like you need a few days in bed.

MistletoeandJingleBells · 04/12/2008 21:03

Poor you oooggs, you are having such a rough time of things. It is awful to read about times when some of us are struggling as I feel helpless not living nearby to give you a hand iykwim. Really hope you get the rest that you need to try and feel a bit better, look after yourself (as much as is possible with 3 dc's), take care xxx

Have a fab scottish meet up all those who are going

SOL, glad that you managed a better night last night

Runny, hello! Haven't seen you in far too long. Hope W's cough gets better soon. I know we say it all the time, but we really must meet for coffee soon, I could do with a starbucks!

POTC, glad J is finally sleeping a bit better for you.

Off now, worked today and back in tomorrow. Dh still nights. I was a bit teary when he left tonight, I am lonely! Take care all xxx

oooggs · 04/12/2008 21:05

dts will continue at nursery two days a week while I am off and they are going a full day tomorrow instead of their usual half day so I can get some rest

StealthPolarBear · 04/12/2008 21:07

good

Bramshott · 04/12/2008 22:50

MJ - DH is away tonight as well so I can keep you company in the lonely stakes!

Oooggs - oh no! Sending hugs. You really have been through it with this one haven't you!

Blarrggh to coughing DCs. FWIW I think they cough at night because they're phlemgy and when they lay down it trickles down the back of their throats and irritates them. So any propping up of cots/mattresses/pillows etc is bound to help.

Hope you are taking care of yourself and feeling better SOL.

Night all! Busy day in the Bramshott house today - nightmare with builders who are fitting our new windows this morning, then up to London for 2 meetings, last one finishing at 8.00, then back here to find that my childminder (who was babysitting) had not been able to offload her kids, but was here at 10pm with a 3 yr old, 8 yr old and 11 yr old . At least the 3 yr old was asleep. I tried to take a pic of the lights in Sloane Square on my phone for N, but it didn't come out well. They look magical though - snowflakes caught in the trees!

CaptainDippy · 05/12/2008 07:17

Morning!

Sounds a bit mental Bramshott - lovely CM though xx

OnceAPillockNowAnAngel · 05/12/2008 18:11

CaptainDippy · 05/12/2008 18:43

Wonderful news!! Thank you for letting us know

Where is everyone!!!? Don't tell me you have all gone & got lives ....

Off out to Book Group soon ......

elkiedee · 05/12/2008 19:29

Great news re Molly, thanks POTC.

Sorry oooggs that you're feeling so ill.

I've got some outstanding leave to take before I finish, even with lots of annual leave over Christmas and in the New Year I still had 5 days to take in less than 3 weeks! Danny had an audiology (hearing tests) appointment first thing this morning, so took him there and then droppped him at CM's and had a disgracefully lazy day, mostly in bed apart from a short interval putting away 12-18 month vests and babygros - still have to go through the other clothes. It makes me feel a bit sad though, I found at least a couple of lovely garments which have never been worn.

My excuse for so much time in bed is that I have a bit of a cold as well as my late pregnancy problems, and this time round I've been diagnosed anaemic as well.

Glad to hear you and the new baby will have some time with the twins at nursery, oooggs, I'm going to keep D at the childminder full time - we'll be a bit skint for my 11 weeks months on SMP and once I go back to work (fees for two at CM, travel and all the costs of going to work) but I'm hoping it will be short term (longer term plan is to escape from London in 2010).

StealthPolarBear · 05/12/2008 20:34

hi everyone
glad m is home

oooggs · 05/12/2008 21:01

hurray Molly is home

still feel shit and my mouth really hurts

liath · 06/12/2008 07:24

Glad Molly is back home .

Poor oooggs! Do you think you might have hand, foot & mouth or something like that - it's supposed to make you feel dreadful if you catch it as an adult.

Hope you all have a good weekend. DH is off helicoptering so I'm going to stay with my parents.

CaptainDippy · 06/12/2008 07:42

Morning al!

I am getting a cold - yuk!

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 06/12/2008 09:11

Oooggs, you poor thing massive {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}

Elkie, childcare for 2 is alot isn't it? I'm so so glad dd finishes nursery in 2 weeks and i'll be down to childcare for 1 plus who knows what for dd during the holidays I HATE working out childcare

Hi dippy who are you my lovely?

I'm home alone atm dh has taken dc to his dads double and then for a loooooooooooong walk round the park to try and get some of their excess energy away, particularly dd's

Dd has conjunctivitis atm so we're having the drops nightmare. I'm rubbish at it, dh is suprisingly good so he's been given that job

I've got the joys of the primary school christmas bazaar this afternoon. they said the preschool could have a stall so me and eandh are off to sell some tatt to raise some money should be fun
