sorry i was making fleece liners for my nappies obsessed much?!

we told him on the 23rd of november we would be out, have told him to take our deposit as this months rent, and taken the entire of DH's wages to put into the new place. it means we may be pay essentially rent on two places for a few weeks, but what u gonna do? we cant live here its not safe, electrics failed a safety certificate, electrition told me i could be shocked standing at the sink as the plugs are directly below the sink in the cuboard when they are meant to be at least a metre and a half away.

washing machine thing just tipped me over the edge, cos we were gonna stay till jan, but i didnt know if he was ever gonna replace it, so got the ball rolling.

anyway means we will be able to invite ppl over for xmas, which we wouldnt be able to being here

educatingRia · 29/11/2008 09:03

hope you find somewhere natty. Is there somewhere you can repert him to if the house isn't safe?

victorian christmas market, baking and ironing today. And DS2 is writing his christmas card list

Taking stuff to charity shops, going to the pet shop to stock up on cat litter and look at the rabbits etc with jamlet, and buying gin from Tesco here.

NattyTantrumAndEarAche · 29/11/2008 09:35

ellen was up AAALLL night so we are hiding under a duvet on the sofa because everyone, except ellen of course, is now shattered!

Bumperlicious · 29/11/2008 10:55

Morning, sorry about your crap night natty. Hope you have a relaxing day.

LeakyDAISYcal · 29/11/2008 11:10

PMSL ria......I was in bed upstairs and DH was downstairs winding and trying to settle the baby .

I sense that DHs patience is wearing thin though. Normally he takes the kids out so that if DS2 settles I can "get back to bed for a bit". He has taken them swimming this morning and said that if DS2 settles I can "get on with putting washing away" .

Ah well, a four week long babymoon is more than most get I suppose

sorry for your bad night natty. DS2 was up and unsettled from 2.30, and DD was up demanding "cuggles" just after 3 (I think DS2's groaning and moaning is waking her up)and wouldn't go back to bed without screaming the house down, so I feel your pain!

lol jammy at your shopping list

gutting my bedroom, sorting out the toy box, writing letters to Santa and maybe a walk in the woods as the sun is out here is the order of my day today.......but need to get a shower and get on before DH gets back!

NattyTirednessAndExhaustion · 29/11/2008 11:48

ellen had her mmr on tuesday should she STILL be running a temprature?
am getting a little concerned

educatingRia · 29/11/2008 12:58

natty, when baggins had his last jabs the nurse said a week to 10 days before any reaction.

xmas fair was crap really. DS2 bought granny a necklace that nearly matches the earrings DS1 bought for her the other week. Poor DS1 bought something lost it, he has retraced his steps twice and hasn't found it, but DH took him back to buy a replacement. (and DH thinks he remembers hiding a gift one christmas past that he forgot about...)

Going into town now with the boys to see if I can get some smaller shoes for DS2. DH is making xmas cake with the boys and DS2 is eating "marinated" dried fruit. suppose I'll have to buy advent calendars too. DS1thinks I should buy a lego set and sort it into 24 lots to put in the pocket one

DD had a temp that sprung up a few days after her MMR and lasted for another few days Natty, but if you are concerned call NHS direct as there are lots of bugs going about with the change in the weather.

I am multi-tasking! DS2 is in his sling so I can get things done....mind you, I should've got him settled in there after I had a shower, not before. My touch typing skills should improve as well as I can't see the keyboard

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 29/11/2008 13:27

Tesco trip was successful. Not only did we buy gin (1 litre Bombay Sapphire ) we bought Winter Pimms, and 2 cases of beer We're not even here for Christmas

NattyTirednessAndExhaustion · 29/11/2008 15:29

very at ur tesco shop jammy, i was dreaming about baileys the other night.. i think my body is missing its nighty tipple

educatingRia · 29/11/2008 15:42

wish I'd had a successful shop. I will have to take back the shoes I bought because they are trainers. and I forgot to buy another spiral xmas tree from Woollies.

And, there were only Hannah Montana advent calendars left. I do this every year

educatingRia · 29/11/2008 17:32

I was in poundworld yesterday. I won't be near any shops unless we go out tomorrow, but might make it to town again on Monday. Pah.

Tesco had 25% off nightwear and some clothing. I bet they will have sold out of XL fleecy dressing gowns on Monday. I hate it when I dither about.

I am SO tired tonight. DH is out cooking a special dinner for the shooting party - the estate manager requested DHs speciality . Hope they tip well

the council have just written to me to tell me that they have over paid me 1100 pounds in the last 6 months, and are further docking our housing benefit.

as if i didnt need anymore stress over christmas, these ppl have no sense of timing do they

i think im gonna go hang myself.. maybe all the debts will go then

is that you SG? How are you and yours doing?

baby fine, but definately a high maintenance baby whereas DS1 and DD were low maintenance....with the emphasis on the were!!!

DS1 is driving us bonkers. After months of reasonable behaviour he has regressed to a tantrumming toddler. He had a proper screaming hissy fit in the changing room of the pool this morning, and DH had to wrestle him to get his shorts off as he refused to do it or go in the shower. DH was mortified at his behaviour and the fact that everyone was watching him being overly firm with DS1. He is also being very very gobby and cheeky as well. Talk about pushing boundaries......then he gets all overly cuddly and clingy and is full of apologies; until five minutes later. We are being driven to drink by it all! Poor DH is wishing he was back in Lincolnshire.
