PLease please please can we not talk about it. I know its not the answer, but we cant. I cant.

Every time I see the picture I think of Charlie.

Mav - are you still coming jock-side?

Maveta · 17/11/2008 20:46

Yes I am definitely coming, we just need to try and fix up a day, I know you gave me your available dates but I can´t remember, I´ll facebook you and we can try and sort something out.

Evening ladies

MUM IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I spoke to her on the phone tonight, and just burst in to tears afterwards. I am so relieved I cannot tell you. I know she still has a journey ahead of her, but I hadn't realised how close she was to dying.

Thank you again lovely ladies for all your support and best wishes xx

JS, those hours sound horrendous Can your dh re-negotiate and change his mind?? Glad F is on the mend.

Oooggs, hope you have a massively better night tonight you poor thing.

POTC, ouch to your head!

SPB, hope you also have a good night.

Erm.... Brain has emptied sorry

Maveta · 17/11/2008 20:50

geordieminx · 17/11/2008 20:50

Sorry M - I didnt mean that in a nasty way, I'm just trying my best to bury my head in the sand about it too.

liath · 17/11/2008 20:51

Maveta · 17/11/2008 21:04

don´t worry GMM, i know exactly how you meant it (and feel the same), just couldn´t word a reply that didn´t drag on into an actual discussion about that which we don´t want to discuss iykwim

runnyhabbit · 17/11/2008 21:05

Evening all

GM - In total agreement with you about the news.

SOL - So glad your mum is home x

JS - glad to hear F is getting better. No wonder sleep deprivation is used as torture. But pants to dh working nights. Def an excuse for coffee and cake

Arse - W has just woken up and dh is obv deaf

geordieminx · 17/11/2008 21:06

Maveta this is on when you are here

liath · 17/11/2008 21:08

You really feel stuff far more deeply as a mother. I still find it very difficult to deal with a lot of things on the news & I wish the media had been a little more restrained in this case TBH.

liath · 17/11/2008 21:11

That looks fab, GM. Might even tempt me across to Weegie Land .

runnyhabbit · 17/11/2008 21:11

Think W must've been crying in his sleep. Went in to see, he didn't turn over, and after 2 or 3 minutes of me standing there, he stopped crying

Bloody men - can't understand little ones or big ones

Maveta · 17/11/2008 21:15

that looks great GMM - we shall facebook, we shall plan, we shall conquer!

Liath agree 100% - also re. dec meet up, edinburgh or glasgow best for you? you are edinburgh right?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 17/11/2008 21:19

fab news SOL

if you look at the pics Pesha has put on facebook you can see exactly how the bump occured

Maveta - you can't meet the Scots girls before I have

geordieminx · 17/11/2008 21:20

We took C last year - went on a Saturday afternoon about 4, just as it was starting to get dark, the whole square is lit up, ice rink, old fashioned carosel, really nice. Is the winter gardens in Edinburgh not similar?

geordieminx · 17/11/2008 21:24

this is also on over xmas Liath - not sure how many teeny rides there are but we are planning to take C as he loves all things bright and shiney.

Have anyone else dc's developed a passion for the wee rides they have at shopping centres? C goes mad for them - tis costing us a fortune... I remember when they used to be 20p

Maveta · 17/11/2008 21:26

lol @ potc it has to be between 8th-11th dec but not been narrowed down more as of yet. Actually wednesday 10th is the day we kind of had mapped out to go through to glasgow and my friend will be working... how does that look for you guys? Yes GMM the edinburgh gardens are similar at xmas, so lovely!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 17/11/2008 21:27

they are banned in our house GM - M would be on them all the time too otherwise

geordieminx · 17/11/2008 21:32

Can do wednesday in Glasgow, that would be ideal for us actually as we dont get back from Barcelona til Monday.

We had mum up last week, with her bottomless purse - C went on 4 rides and a merry go round on one trip to local centre

PillockOfTheCommunity · 17/11/2008 21:33

did you warn her you'd be needing a monthly allowance from her now she's got him started with them?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 17/11/2008 21:35

Been off work today, and working at home tomorrow, I always post more when deprived of adult company

Still, football finishes at 10 so expecting a call within the hour

Pesha · 17/11/2008 21:41

at the photos!

And Ellie after all the tit pics of me you post I thought it was about time there was one of you and its not like theres much to see!! !

Although I'm still not quite sure how he came to be taking photographs inside your top

SOL - so glad your mum has come home
