D waking up at 6.30 new time didn't seem too bad on Sunday - could think it was really 7.30, but it's been 5.30 yesterday and today, he was very bouncy and lively this morning unlike his parents. He zonked out very quickly in the buggy though and was fast asleep on delivery to childminder's just after 9 am. Anyone think it must be a nice life being a toddler?

Eddas, hope the clock works for you.

SharpMolarBear · 28/10/2008 13:30

Definitely

CaptainDippy · 28/10/2008 13:42

Wish I was a toddler.

Eddas · 28/10/2008 15:57

oh yes, they get everything their way. Let's face it they are in charge not us, no matter how much we kid ourselves

Roll on bedtime mummy is shattered.

cazboldy · 28/10/2008 16:59

Hi - We have been to the beach today at Southwold...... everyone said I was mad and we would freeze, but it was really warm and sunny! It was warm enough without coats at lunchtime, but by about half 2 it was getting chilly and the wind had picked up, so we got some chips and came home!

Have just come in from doing the ponies, and am having a sit down and a well earned cuppa!

the best bit is that they are all shattered

the worst bit is that I am too!

CaptainDippy · 28/10/2008 17:16

Awww, sounds lovely Caz

I am shattered too!

liath · 28/10/2008 17:17

Brr, Caz! Sounds fun, though. It never got above 4 degrees today here.

cazboldy · 28/10/2008 17:31

I think it was 10 or 11 there but like I said the sun was shining, and no wind, so felt warm

CaptainDippy · 28/10/2008 17:32

It's been lovely with lbue skies here all days, but very nippy!!

SharpMolarBear · 28/10/2008 17:53

SharpMolarBear · 28/10/2008 19:41

How's everyone?

elkiedee · 28/10/2008 21:25

Tired.... was literally soaked to the skin on the way home from the tube station, ugh. Anyone else facing the challenge of getting LOs to sleep while fireworks go off?

Eddas · 29/10/2008 07:33

how's t this morning spb? poor little thing does seem to be ill quite often Hope he's bright and breezy this morning

elkie, fireworks aren't too bad where i live, but then we're surrounded by old people Actually, I must try and find somewhere to take dc to see fireworks this year. Last year my brother got us free tickets to see Leeds Castle fireworks(huge display) but dd was a bit overwhelmed. First half of the show she moaned it was too loud, the second half................ she fell asleep dh's arms nearly fell off through having to carry her

Well, this morning was better. DD woke us just after 6(yipeeeeeeeeee I didn't see 5 something!!!!!!!) her morning greeting was ' mummy why does ice skating have to have ice' no good morning, just that

I'm quite excited about going ice skating today! I haven't been in such a long time.

liath · 29/10/2008 07:45

Not looking forward to bonfire night here. Last year the neighbours set off a load and gave dd such a fright she refused to go back into her bedroom for months and was sleeping in our room. Hopefully she's that bit older now that we can explain what's going on......

SPB, how's T this morning?

Ds was practically stuck to the cot sheet with snot this morning, poor love.

cazboldy · 29/10/2008 07:58

Oh Eddas really hope you have a lovely day

3 of mine are still sleeping......Harry has just gone over to the farm, to help feed the calves, and James is going brushing with my dad shortly

leakyR · 29/10/2008 10:39

Good morning!

We had snow this morning!! It's all melted now

G having a nap because he too has not adjusted to clocks going back. Also got snotty cold and woke 3 times during the night. We're going to soft play this afternoon- it'll be mental as it's half term!

Hope T is feeling better today SMB.

Hope the rest of you have lovely days with LOs!

Oooh and I haven't been sick since Saturday or fainted since Friday! Yay!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 29/10/2008 11:35
