Saying that elvira, I would love to go to Disneyland, just not keen on the whole concept of disney as a whole. Bet it's pretty fab, would love to go and practice my french too.

LackaDAISYcal · 26/10/2008 17:43

oooh, sorry about the link, but saw you found it. So if we could all send big labour vibes to TheDoctorsWife for tonight

I have just being a domestic goddess and making a casserole for tea. DD was pootling around in the dining bit of our kitchen. I heard her say "down" and when I turned around she was standing in the middle of the table and had helped herself to an apple from the fruit bowl that is on the worktop that separates the two areas

She is now "playing" the vents on the side of the TV like a skiffle board.

I think my DH should be shot. He now has the boys watching the dying bit of Watership Down.

Ria, I heard a Mum at our children's centre complaining that she'd bought a FP childs digi camera and the picture quality was SHITE. She said for the price she'd paid she could have bought a cheap adult one. Someone else then said that they had heard really bad reports about the FP one from other people too.

We had cauliflower and cheese soup tonight. Normally jamlet eats on her own and we eat later but I said that at weekends we should eat earlier with her. SO we all sat down together tonight and she ate most of her soup be herself. It made it a lovely dinner all being together

RiallyEeRiaee · 26/10/2008 18:24

I have never seen watership down, it is just one of those films I know we shouldn't watch. Saved by ITNG

I was thinking of a camera for DS2. DS1 ws given my DFs old one last year. I thought it would be an alternative to more playmobil. They are half price in Toys R Us but sold out. May look at a proper one or change my mind.

How early can I put the kids to bed???

Ria, I don't know if anything mentioned here fits your needs, but it might be worth a read?

thanks jammy. From what I've seen the Little Tikes and Vtech were what I preferred, but it's only todays idea. If I get a kiddie one it would a) more than likely be 2nd hand and b) be kept for baggins too.

so now for my next question! anyone know when cbeebies spring autumnwatch is on, if at all? Proper autumnwatch is tomorrow night, but doesn't appeal to DS2 all that much, but he wants to join in with DS1!

Funny, I used to be quite anti Disney, but you can't really avoid them.

And I have to admit that they do what they do very well, DD spends loads of time on the Playhouse Disney website, there's loads of stuff on there and it's really well done.

What they've done to Winnie the Pooh is pretty heinous though, but then it's not aimed at me.

Sputnik · 26/10/2008 19:51

Actually we were watching "Fantasia" today, it's a masterpiece
