I was going to email andie, but i've only got her kcl email address.....that won't work will it?

I'll try CATting her.

One of my November mums is in need of some help as her baby won't feed . Crash section under GA at just over 36 weeks and he is very sleepy and falls asleep after a minute or two.

JammyOLantern · 25/10/2008 21:19

OK, I am off. I need my inhalers which are upstairs and can't be arsed to come back.

FiendishFairyFay · 25/10/2008 21:24

I have her mobile number, I could text her if you like?

FiendishFairyFay · 25/10/2008 21:24

Goodnight Jammy

Sputnik · 25/10/2008 21:31

Brighter the better Jammy.
Bumper, I wanted curls for ages and ages, I always thought I looked like I ought to have them, my har is quite thick and a bit wavy. Eventually I got it done a couple of years ago and never regretted it. Only do it once a year though as it knackers your hair, but that's ok as I spend the summer with my hair up anyway.

FiendishFairyFay · 25/10/2008 21:32

I'm off to bed now as well. Daisy, if you fb your mobile number, I will happily text it to Andiem, tomorrow, and ask her to contact you, if she can help. I'm sure she wouldn't mind.

Bloodystumperlicious · 25/10/2008 21:34

Fairy, remember that weaning set that you won on here? Do you remember the website? I want to recommend it on another thread for someone who is BLW (though at 18mo I think you are past the distinction) but he has been pulled up as being underweigh . The LO likes to feed himself but I remember those bowls were designed to make it easier to eat.

Sputnik · 25/10/2008 21:42

Holly had one of those too

Sputnik · 25/10/2008 21:47

Fuck fuck fuck.
DH just phoned to say he was robbed on the train, of his bag with money, passport, cards etc. He didn't have time to tell me what happened as he has to get on with cancelling his cards.

LackaDAISYcal · 25/10/2008 21:47

thanks fairy....I've been off googling for help.

I'll FB you now

Sputnik · 25/10/2008 22:10

He can't leave so now I have to somehow get 2 sleeping children in the car and go and pick him up after midnight. He still didn't have time to tell me what happened.

RiallyEeRiaee · 25/10/2008 22:16

bollocks sputnik. poor you and poor DH.

Bloodystumperlicious · 25/10/2008 22:23

Oh no sputnik, that's awful! Hope he is ok, and what a shit night for the LOs. Hope his cards are all ok and he hasn't lost too much.

Sputnik · 25/10/2008 22:25

No you were spot on Ria.
I truly am cputnik now, I just wanted to sleeeep.
Now I have to get dressed, get the kids dressed, get them into the car and drive 40 minutes to the nearest station trains are still running to.

Well he sounded ok so presumably wasn't robbed at knifepoint or something.
But he'll have lost his palm/phone, probably some dollars. Anyway, better try and see if I can move these 2 without waking them....

LittleMissNorty · 25/10/2008 22:39

bloody hell Sputnik....hope all is ok x

LackaDAISYcal · 25/10/2008 22:40

oh i missed your post sputnik. poor DH . and poor you having to take the kids out at this time of night to go and fetch him.

I hope DH is OK and not too shaken up by it all

LittleMissNorty · 25/10/2008 22:41

Daisy, I've also got another e-mail address for Andiem.

She hasn't been on our thread for ages.....did we upset her?

norty just a thought I had earlier (though given I didn't pay much attention at work when I was training), could your car key be covered by the "personal possessions outside the home" bit of your contents insurance? I think you only have to specify stuff over £2000?

she has the NCT helpline number elvira and is going to call them.

I've emailed my peer supporter coordinator who is with the ABM to see if she knows of any local groups or ABM BFCs who can help. the baby has had some formula now which of course has made him even more sleepy and less inclined to feed. she is determined to put it right though and even asked about private lactation consultants.

JammyOLantern · 26/10/2008 06:32

Oh God, what an arse about your DH Sputnik! Hope you got him without too much upset for the DCs, and that he's OK.

Early start here of course, what with the clock change. Jamlet had me up at 5.45 "new time" And have had to put the heating on () as clothes, and more importantly nappies, aren't drying quickly enough anymore.
