We skipped bath time tonight as E hadn't had a nap today and fell asleep at the table eating her tea. Hope she doesn't wake at 2am like she did this mornng.

DH gone to footy. I am supposed to be hoovering the lounge. Its covered in chocolate cake crumbs.

Not really been up to much. Sylvie had her 16 week jabs today and was fine. Ellen enjoyed a trip to the library. Had friends for lunch and a hectic afternoon with 4 kids and 2 babies.

4am for teh 1st wake up call this morning, thankfully he did go back to sleep for a while though.
Was in our bed by 5am, up at 5:35am.
WTF is going on???
I'm knackered.

Went to the funeral yesterday. It went as well as funerals go. The vicar read out a letter that my friends mum had written, it was so sad, I think I cried the whole way through....
My BF and her brother both spoke about their mum. BF read out a poem, I couldn't even look up at her, it was so perfect for her and how her and her mum were. Her brothers eulogy was very moving. He spoke for about 15 minutes. I don't know how he did it.
Both of them made their Dad very proud.

Very very sad.

Beautiful sunrise though this morning for all you early risers

Feeling a bit humpph this morning as had to spend over £700 on new tyres yesterday. Oouch !

Took my favourite flat boots to the cobblers yesterday to get re - heeled after the shock as I realised I would have to economise somewhere.

Yours turned up yet LTH ?

Katw3kitts · 17/10/2008 10:17

Sounds like a very moving funeral LTH. Dont know what to say really, just be there for her. Crap isn't it ?

eandh · 17/10/2008 10:34

Sounds as if your BF and her brother made a beautiful tribute to their Mum (God it gets you thinking doesnt it, I'd be lost without my parents)

Another 5am start in our house, the problem is shes then knackered by 10am and sleeps for an hour but then falls asleep by 6pm which means we go in a circle with the 5am wake ups (although DH not at work till 7am tomorrow and off Sunday so he won't wake her which will help!)

At work today and my Mum taking the girls to local garden centre to look at Christmas trees etc (they want to get a new one) and then off to a resturant for lunch as she has BOGOF vouchers and E&H will share the free meal When I dropped the girls off this morning Mum gave me £600 in lovely crisp £10 notes I felt rich!! (it's my Christmas club money and almost £450 is accountated for but still leaves £150 which will go in my 'Dublin with laughalot' spending fund!)

Kat - ouch at £700 for tyres
