Stop buying that size!
If you can afford expensive boots you can can afford £20 on a bra! Now...let me know when you can do a late night shop and I'll sort you out.

Its not just the size, its the style you have to get right. Everone has different shape tits, and you have to make sure its the right style for you. Some bras just don't do what they should on everyone.

ladytophamhatt · 13/10/2008 08:42

Imagine a sandwich bag half filled with water. Actually maybe a quarter filled.

Thats my boob shape.

DH is taking them back for me, I think he's on earlies this week so will let you knwo and try and arrange day.

Lizzzombie · 13/10/2008 13:07

LTH - I don't feel right 'imagining' the shape of your boobs!
Debenhams sale is still on. I promise you we will find something there which will look good x

ladytophamhatt · 13/10/2008 18:15

He is on earlies thsi week Lizzz, so let me knwo whens best for you

I can't do thursday though.

Reggiee · 13/10/2008 19:04

LTH imgine a bin bag three quarter filled with water. That's mine. Oh, for sandwich bags

2Happy · 13/10/2008 19:37

Is this like the toilet paper thing when we were pg? Measure your boobs by handy kitchen recepticle. Mine are like the spoon of a plastic ladle....that's been left in a hot pan by mistake and has now melted and drooped

eandh · 13/10/2008 19:47

PMSL - I cannot think of suitable kitchen material/utensil at the mo!

ladytophamhatt · 13/10/2008 20:32

mines are the things you cook poached eggs in

Wilkiepedia · 13/10/2008 20:54

Mine are little bags of Uncle Ben's rice, once boiled, and left to cool, so now are reasonably firm but sagging and wrinkled

laughalot · 13/10/2008 21:42

Mine are just big, droppy and shit

ladytophamhatt · 14/10/2008 09:12

LOL at the and shit bit!

ladytophamhatt · 14/10/2008 09:14

reggie, sandwich bags aren't nice though. depending on teh time of teh month my belly sticks out further then my poached eggs.

Not good.

I look like a man....

I wear paddded bras all the time.

I love bigger boobs.

Maybe freezer bags would do

ladytophamhatt · 14/10/2008 09:19

that shoudld have been I'D love bigger boobs.

I'm not a

Katw3kitts · 14/10/2008 13:35

I've been wandering round my kitchen looking for ideas.

The best I've come up with is round tea bags (unused)

When they are wet they are sooo much firmer

And LTH, I soo know what you mean about your belly being bigger than your boobs at times.

I bought a 3p bra from Asda once too. It was a sports bra which I got when I was pg as I was so mean fed up of buying bigger bras every month, and I have to say it was pretty good. But yes, I agree .... if you are treating yourself to some trendy boots, you should at least have some decent undies too !

More drain issues yesterday with neighbour. Gravel again. Either we are all eating it or there's a broken pipe. Oh dear.

Reggiee, Lard ? Has anyone spoken to you about eating more fibre

If I don't wear a bra, my tits can touch my belly button. How MINGING is that!

  • any advance on a belly button? Anyones tits touch their knees/floor?!

Its raining here. Very grey and I am supposed to be taking DJ to a local pick your own farm. I mustn't let rain put me off.

I'm gutted here, we had about 10 days of really good sleeping, all the way through apart from a couple of night terrors in the night but he stayed in his own bed.
Until 2 nights ago, when I gave in. I was so knackered I took him to bed with me when I'd been up for nearly 2 hours trying to placate him. He fell asleep instantly. Happend again last night. I am SO CROSS with myself, but just too f**king tiered to care. iykwim.

We are having sleep traumas as well. I took him to the GP on Monday morning to make sure he didn't have an ear infection, and between me and the doctor we decided he had a case of "Grumpy Buggeritis"! The GP told me to time when he wakes up screaming, and if it's the same time each night - which it seems to be - then the way to sort out the night terrors is to wake him up half an hour beforehand, so the sleep pattern is broken (or something).

I have got an appointment with the physio next Friday to sort my back out (i hope) - my arse feels like it's about to fall out of my pelvis atm. Stupid bloody baby.

ladytophamhatt · 15/10/2008 09:18

G was up at 4:40am thsi morning.

I feel like murdering someome now.

eandh · 15/10/2008 11:33

Sleep troubles here to - after feeling smug that the dark morning meant they weren't waking up till 6.30/7 its changed again, Ellie waking at 4.30 (when dh gets up) and gets into bed with me and goes straight back to sleep till 7ish but Hattie is awake between 5 & 5.45 and does not want to do anything except get up >

vinorouge · 15/10/2008 14:12

E was awake at 4.20 this morning, after I had got back into bed at 4 after feeding s.

I dropped a wooden and heavy chopping board on my big toe on monday so hobbling around. Putting my feet up this aft and thats it.

I dont want to sound smug but l slept from 5:45 till 7 !!! Send them all to me ill sort them out. Pcf a is them same he has to give me a update about what he is going to do on the toilet. A latest thing he wants from santa is a lewis hamilton car do you think I can pull that one off .

2Happy · 15/10/2008 19:43

UD - your GP sounds fab, grumpy buggeritis . The method he recommends is in the Baby Whisperer book I think - I only know this because there have been threads on MN about it, and my sister told me I should try it with ds2. Not that I have (I have lazy buggeritis!). It's called wake to sleep - do a search, loads of threads. Some people swear by it. Theory is, they have this 40m skeep cycle. So if you gently rouse them 1/2 hour before their normal wake time, it resets their sleep cycle, so that when their normal waking time comes along they're in a deeper sleep cycle than normal and don't wake up, thus breaking the early waking habit. If ds2 had a sustained normal wake up time I would try it, but after a while of being 5 to 5.20am, he's now anywhere between 5 and 6.30, so it wouldn't work. (He has irritating buggeritis )

Hullo all!
Have nothing interesting to say. Am off to see DP's parents this weekend in Lowestoft, so a long drive tomorrow.
Am going to Drs tomorrow morning as DJ is covered in a weird kind of rash. Like raised spots. I think it maybe a sort of acne. Its got worse and worse and now when he is tiered he itches like mad. I have NO idea what it could be. Plus, I think he has caught manky hand syndrome from me, as his little thumb is going all gross like mine. Poor thing.
Got the bill from going private on that appointment for said manky hand. Ouch. Not sure where that money is going to be coming from!
Right, arse in gear, bath time is calling me. God I HATE this time of day! xxx
